Outback.

This parking lot is where good restaurants go to turn bad. The staff just aren’t equipped to handle mall crowds, and they drop the ball on a regular basis.
The steaks were cold and undercooked. The meat was chewy. They replacement steaks were way off as well. It’s a waste of a great menu and a beautiful new building.

Fourth visit. Always take a booth in bar area. Every visit service, food and dining experience outstanding.

Actually this review would be a 3.5 star review.
It all started because… both my brother and I was was very very hungry and was craving a steak.
Once we got here on a Sat early evening about 6p there was an hour wait. Which was fine because there was a mall in walking distance which we walked to in order to kill time.
This gave us the opportunity to look at the menu in advance so we can place our order as we were being seated. This speeds up the process tremendously, and eliminates the # of times your server has to come to your table on a busy night (just my opinion). The service & atmosphere was average. Now to my favorite part, the FOOD!!!
For an appetizer we ordered the wings, which I love outback wings. They have a very unique flavor and taste. Their not fried but baked and seasoned very well.
For the entre I ordered the Ribeye special — Smokey Bacon Bourbon Bone-​In Ribeye steak (see picture), cooked Medium Plus (Between Medium & Medium Well) w/​a fully loaded baked potato. The steak was nice and moist, had great flavor. The bacon bits and bacon strips laid on top of the steak with a drizzle of bourbon sauce added a sweetness to the flavor. Almost reminds me of a similar steak called the Steak Maui made by J. Alexander’s, but not as good in the overall presentation and taste.
An aspect of the service that stood out, was that my brother had a to go box and mistakenly left his steak on the table. We didn’t realize it until an hour later. We were still in the area, so we stopped back by to see if it was there, and the server put his to go box in their fridge just in case he came back by looking for it. I would’ve thought the server would’ve trashed the box. But I was impressed how thoughtful they were and attempted to keep his to go box in their fridge atleast until closing.

This restaurant is by far so much better than it’s predecessor on Badcock. What a surprise it was to be taken care of by someone who made you think you were the only customer they had. The drinks were perfect and the blooming onion, so delicious. The steaks were cooked to our order, and I admit to being hard to please. I really like rare and rare it was. Not raw but rare. Can not tell you about desserts because we were pleasantly full from the dinner. Looking forward to going back.

Actually this was the best outback experience I have had ever. My steak was cooked perfectly the service was exceptional, fast friendly and made our meal very enjoyable. My Cesar salad was better than I’ve ever remembered. The new steak house Mac and cheese is a must try.

Great food but inconsistent service. Food is slow to come, and waitstaff sometimes appears bored, inattentive, or overly casual. I often saw one server compensating for another, leading me to believe they have training issues. Really a shame, because there are so many good restaurants in the area. Would hate to see this location not do well

We have just moved here from Southern Ca and I stopped in to have a late lunch today. It was obvious that This Outback does not hold the same standards as Ca Outback! The service was poor and it was not busy at all. In fact I sat at the small booth in the bar and there was one man at the bar and one other small booth occupied. Right off the bat not one but BOTH forks that were rolled in the napkin were crusty with dried on food and when the waitress with the short blonde hair came to the table I told her the forks were dirty and she said «oh yea they are» and whisked them away, no apologies. She must have spoken to a manager because a man came out and said we’re sorry about that Ma’am. Not an over the top sorry which would have been standard in SanDiego, more like I’m sorry you noticed how dirty we are here. Needless to say I will not be going back and I’ll make sure that my family and friends don’t eat there.

Had a delicious hamburger with the chopped salad… and great service.
The chopped salad was so good I got one to go. I’ll definitely be back and bring a friend for her birthday.

I have been to many Outback locations and it is unfortunate that this new arrival has been my worst Outback experience to date. First of all our server was very friendly and I don’t blame her. After ordering a cocktail it took FOREVER to get it to the table. I clocked 30 minutes for one signature cocktail and a glass of wine. Pathetic.
I ordered a wedge salad and a lobster tail. Both came at the same time which is unacceptable and it took an hour to even get the food to the table. Ridiculous, this place wasn’t even busy. The food was tasty but who wants to spend half an hour to get a drink and an hour waiting for food?
I wont be back.

Food was excellent; had prime rib & baby back ribs with loaded potatoes They remade my prime rib as I didn’t care for the rub even though I said it would be fine.
Having waitressed my way thru college I am always hard on wait staff but our waitress Sobrina was awesome
Overall very pleased & will return!

We went here for lunch today for the first time since the opening of this location. Started off with the Bloomin’ Onion, and it came out very hot and was good. I had the appetizer of chicken wings and the flavor was very good. My husband had the ½ prime rib sandwich and a garden salad. He said the sandwich wasn’t very good and wouldn’t order it again. He had ordered a caesar salad, but he ended up with a garden salad with caesar dressing on the side. Our server was very nice, but the service and the receiving of our food was very slow. It seems to be our experience at the Outbacks we’ve visited. I do hope it improves for all of the people who spend their hard earned money to eat there!

Went there on a Saturday at 6 p.m. We had a party of 7. We were told 1 hour wait. We check at 30 min Mark and at hour Mark and 1.5 hour Mark. Each time told will be another 30 minutes. After 1.5 hour wait We asked again and was told they could not tell me how much longer. Could be another hour but would not guarantee. The incompetence was telling me 30 minutes more repeatedly when they knew that it was not going to be just 30 minutes more. A fail at the front door. Will never go again.

Okay so usually my reviews for an outback are not good. Me and my family have had some horrible experiences at outbacks in Orlando and refused to go to another outback. But on my birthday my husband took us here and wow’ the customer service was AMAZING. I honestly wish I remembered her name, cause she was great. Even when she wasn’t around, we were constantly asked from other workers if we needed anything. Also, my biggest thing is to not be rushed when eating. I like to enjoy my food and take things slow. She was in no way rushing us, it was great! Told my husband we’ll def. be back which doesn’t come out of my about outback. :)

This Outback has the greatest customer service I’ve experienced in any Outback. Amazingly delicious drinks at the bar and great bartenders. Food is spectacular as well! Great start to a new Outback!

We shared the bone-​in ribeye, baked potato, asparagus and mac-​n-​cheese. The steak was cooked perfectly and seasoned beautifully. The sides were very good. The mac could use a bit more flavor.
The kitchen responded quickly and on target.
The biggest downside was the service. Several young servers on the patio. They only had a first gear and forgot to bring extra butter as requested.
Despite this, it was a delicious meal and the kitchen really shined.
