The people on the phone were so nice, but I can’t say anything good about the pizza. My boyfriend’s review was«You’d have to hate your customers to make a pizza like that!» The dough was llavorless and dominated the pizza. The sauce was slapdash. If the dough and sauce aren’t good, toppings and cheese can’t save the pie.

It’s a small slap-dash sub joint. The food is alright, and it’s a decent location, but nothing stellar. The price is too high for what they serve. If you’re a college goer looking for a quick meal this is okay, but I would just go up to Helen’s. If you NEED a crêpe and don’t have hot plate, try here. Otherwise don’t waste your time. The Italian sub I’m eating right now is so boring, bland and poorly constructed I’m seriously a little upset.

I feel the need to get an opinion out there about this place. Been there twice now for pizza and a crêpe the first time, and just a crêpe the second time. The same woman was working both times and I’m pretty sure she remembered us despite the two visits being weeks apart and uneventful. She was efficient and friendly and seems to be a good businesswoman: we overheard them solving a delivery mistake which they handled quickly and generously. The pizza is good and the crepes, made with fresh fruit, are fantastic. I have a feeling it’ll become a regular habit to sit in the window reading magazines and eating a crêpe.

The best calzones in the Cambridge area, but an absolute asshole of an owner. I had to stop ordering from here because they kept getting my order wrong(giving me pizza rather than calzone, due to different sizes on their menu than what their employees are apparently aware of). Part of the same restaurant as Café de Crêpe.

in regards to pasta, it’s definitely hit or miss… and it’s miss for the most parts. the pasta here is consistently WAY overcooked, and that’s saying a lot, as i DO like overcooked pasta! the combo pasta, with chicken, rosemary and sausage, is usually pretty good, as the strong flavour of the sauce usually masks the overcooked-ness of the pasta. i’ve had the clam linguine with red sauce and white sauce, and as the sauces are very light for this dish, the overcooked pasta was very noticeable and i found both dishes pretty tasteless. also, save your money and order shrimp scampi elsewhere. it’s excessively greasy with no worthy tasty benefits. as for the other fares, the italian sub here is large and quite tasty. i’m a big fan. i don’t like their pizzas as the crust is way too doughy and thick.

We order out from this place to our dorm. They get here at a reasonable time and the pizza is reasonably good for a reasonable price. The pasta is of a little better quality than the pizza, so if you’re in the mood for something different, you should try it!

We ordered 3 calzones, which took over an hour to arrive. I got a chicken parmesan calzone. All the chicken inside was burnt. I only ate three bites of it. One of the«make your own calzone» orders was all messed up and a sauce that was ordered was missing. All 3 calzones were incredibly UNDER-STUFFED. When we called, they tried to fix it by sending a couple of crepes over. And now we need to try to find something else to eat at 9:30pm. DONOTORDERFOODFROMHERE!

I ordered some food from this place a few days ago using a menu that they had posted online. They charged me $ 5 more than the menu indicated that they should have. When I asked them about the error, they were impolite and explained that their online menus were out of date.

Unlike other reviewers my meal was delivered in a timely fashion(they said 30 – 40 minutes and it arrived 35 minutes after I called. The woman on the telephone was efficient but friendly, and I could hear the busy background noise… The food was yummy. I ordered a mushroom calzone which had a crust that fell somewhere between pastry and pizza-like, French fries that were«just right,» fried but not too greasy with a moderate amount of salt, and chocolate cake, which was acceptable but clearly not made by them. Honestly, I was disappointed by the cake but I would definitely order from them again. They have a clean dining area and I am looking forward to going in for breakfast sometime or to eat some of the crepes that sound exceptionally delicious!

I ordered food from here thru Foodler at 7PM, and didn’t get my food til 8:45. If you’re bad at math, that’s almost TWO hours late! The food wasn’t bad, but it’s bad business to make a customer wait that long, then when he calls, yell at him that they are slammed and all the orders are out for delivery. If I have to wait that long, the food should be discounted. If you can’t handle food delivery in a timely fashion, DON’T offer delivery. I will never order from here again.

Calzones and pizzas are fine. Salads have never been wilted, and they include a few different kinds of vegetables. I’ve gone there a few times and I’ll probably go again, so I guess that indicates its A-OK.

Go with the combination pasta! Oh, and I’m pretty sure that the woman answering the phone(not the teen), is deaf… but she’ll yell into the phone claiming that it is yours(no matter where you call from)… Don’t get delivery, you’re asking for an hour of stomach hunger pains.

Just thinking about the tuna salad makes my mouth water. The toasted, seasoned pita bread it comes with is ridiculously good. The delivery is practically instantaneous and makes it unnecessary for you to ever go to the actual restaurant. I highly recommend this place to any hungry Tufts student!
