Now please don’t get me wrong, I love me a cinnabon but this place has lost luster. I ordered one of smaller cinnabons because apparently when I arrived which was around when the first opened they didn’t have the regular sized ones nor did it appear that they were planning on making the regular sized ones. So my waistline probably secretly thanks me for settling on the smaller one. The cinnabon was lackluster as far as taste, not any real disenable cinnamon flavor, and the icing just basically was flat as far as flavor too. The bun itself was soft but towards the center it almost seemed too soft to the point that I had to wonder if it was undercooked. Unless for some reason I am back at the mall and really want to test this place out again its more than likely I won’t be returning. Really not the same quality as I previously remember.

I ordered a cinnamon roll iced coffee, and I was so disappointed as the sugar content is crazy high. I was basically drinking sugar water and I couldn’t even taste the coffee. It was a big disappointment because I was really thirsty, so I ended up throwing away most of my drink on the spot. Sucks right?

MMMM, CINNABON!!! I’ve always been a fan of Cinnabon, because WHODOESN’T LIKECINNAMONROLLS?! This chain was founded back in ’85 in Washington, but its HQ is out in GA. They are usually located in malls and airports and are known for their baked goods, especially for their cinnamon rolls(the Classic, Minibon, Cinnabon Bites, Caramel Pecanbon, and, currently, their special, the ‘Wild Berry’), Chillattas, coffees, and lemonades. I absolutely looooove their Cinnabon Classic Roll, as it’s pretty monstrous in size — it contains Makara Cinnamon(from Indonesia), warm dough, and topped with a rich cream cheese frosting. The only thing is, make sure you get it fresh out of the oven, because there is a huge difference — regardless if the staff tells you that the ones out in the tray have been brought out ‘recently,’ say you will WAIT for the fresh batch coming out: D The cinnamon roll itself is so soft(not a dry bit in sight), and the gooey cream cheese frosting is lovingly-drizzled all over(you can always ask for an extra cup of of the frosting, if you wish) — one can eat it with their hands, but I get all dainty and use a knife and fork — it cuts easily into it, and it definitely satisfies a sweet tooth! However, I don’t find it overwhelmingly sweet, and, you can technically share it with one other person(but, I’m GREEDY, so no thank yo8AHAHAHAHA) NYAMNYAMNYAM +Cinnabon Classic Roll: D +ask for it fresh out of the even!!! :D

This is the best place on earth. Cinnamon buns are my favorite dessert and that says a lot because I drink, and eat chocolate like its water and air, but cinnamon buns are still on the top of my list. Everytime I pass a Cinnabon, I have to get a cinnamon bun or its like a sin to me. I don’t even shop at malls that don’t own a cinnabons, it’s something def wrong with a mall that don’t own a cinnabon, maybe they’re working for the devil, they need jesus, I don’t trust them. Hahaha, I kid, but I really do get a cinnamon bun everytime I see one at the mall. It is a tradition I have made for myself and it never fails. No matter how broke I am, no matter what my financial situation is, whenever I walk passed a cinnabons, I end up walking away with a cinnamon bun. It’s like magic, it never fails.

A guilty pleasure. Hardly a trip to Tysons mall doesn’t at a minimum end with a stop here to pick up some cinnamon rolls to have for breakfast the next day. And I’m somewhat ashamed to admit there have been times where a mid-shopping trip stop has happened here just because of the alluring aroma and a need to refuel. But mostly I grab and go. They do a good job packing things up for a trip in the car where the icing doesn’t get everywhere.

Every Cinnabon south of DC has closed so… this was a little bit of HEAVEN… and boy did I enjoy it, hot out of the oven smothered with icing and my butt screamed NOOOOO… But I bought 4!!! Granted they were not all for me, I still looked lovingly at the boxes and for a moment thought… I could eat them & no one would know, but then I would have been at the ER in diabetic shock lol… but by far best buns ever… to eat!!! Always a treat!!!

Standing in line for a cinnabon is one of the most humiliating things I have ever done in my life. Filled with shame, I try to avoid eye contact. This place is run by Satan. Does anyone really need a cinnabon? I’ve tried to find a good reason. Sometimes I feel like taking a nap half way through, or injecting some insulin. However, I do recommend this place for dessert on the go. Great to have right before you get on a plane. Or right before you’re ready to die. When you eat a cinnabon, it’s one of those days that you don’t shower and you’re couch becomes a life boat.

What can I say? Cinnabon never fails to leave me feeling satisfied and guilty! I splurge on a full-size Cinnabon once or twice a year… usually on Christmas Day when my family gets a box of half a dozen for breakfast. The cream cheese icing is amazing — sweet and fluffy and compliments the cinnamon buns perfectly! Highly recommended for those not watching their waistline or looking to splurge!
