This place is missing one star because my waiter was kind of rude, he abandoned me, didnt worry about if I wanted something else, and it was not that busy, his behavior actualy made me wish to be at La madeleine. Other than that the food was amazing and the ambience very french!

So unprofessional. I like this restaurant and I think the food is great, but this particular location has the worst service I’ve ever seen. I’ve only been to this location 5 times and EVERYSINGLETIME they were out of MULTIPLE ingredients and I have to go with my 2nd or even 3rd choice on the menu. Also they take forever to bring your food and drinks even if there is no one else in the restaurant. My friend and I waited 20 minutes to get our drinks when there was only one other person there. And once I waited about 30 minutes to get change after paying the bill, and I ended up going to the front counter to complain and the waiter said HEDIDNTEVENLOOKATTHEMONEYAFTER I GAVEITTOHIM. Apparently he just took it and assumed it was the exact amount for some stupid reason, and made me wait 30 mins without saying a damn thing. I’m usually an understanding person, but this is UNACCEPTABLE for a high end café. I get that sometimes restaurants run out of things or make mistakes, but it shouldn’t be EVERYSINGLETIME. That just shows that you are disorganized and unprofessional. Never going here again. I have even brought friends here to try LPQ for the first time because I told them it was good, but the service was so bad it was embarrassing and they probably won’t go there again. My friend literally had to order something different THREE times because they kept coming back and saying they were out of something. If you want to try this restaurant, go to the one in the Mosaic District, it’s a million times better.

I REally wanted to give 4 stars. I had 4 stars selected at the beginning of this review, but after writing the review I had to downgrade to 3 stars. I hope they see/hear customer concerns and improve. This place definitely has potential for 4 – 5 stars. Awesome food. Can’t deny that they provide good food. I had: — Honey ginger lemon tea for a drink — lemon citrus explosion, just a forewarning. I liked it, but some may not like the strong lemon flavor. I would’ve liked a stronger ginger flavor, but it was noticeable. — The large chicken soup — lots of chicken and vegetables, good flavor. –Side of Prosciutto, comes out with olives — I’ve had prosciutto, but I can’t really say what good or bad prosciutto is. It tasted good. I enjoyed it. It didn’t make me sick. Olives complement the Prosciutto. Wife had: — Ham and cheese Croissant with side of mesclun salad — It was a long name on the menu, but essentially ham and cheese croissant. Uh-MAyzing. Simple, something that can be made at home, but it was really good. Probably fresh baked croissant and some high-end cheese and ham. Try It! Great ambiance. I like the wooded lodge type of feel as you walk in. Walking into the restaurant takes you from middle of bourgeoisie /upper class concrete jungle to the countryside. Nice. So all of the above made me want to give a 4 star rating… Now, on to the unfortunately poor experience leading me to rate this place 3 stars. –Price — wow, the ambiance was countryside, but price was Tysons Corner. My honey ginger drink alone was $ 5! The soup was $ 10! The 4 pieces of prosciutto was $ 7. –Service — alright. The place is open seating. I don’t know how I feel about that. Potential to be forgotten. We lucked out, service was decent during a busy time. However, I understand the other«poor service» reviews I read. — Seating — cramped. One side of the restaurant is picnic style with long tables. One side with a bench and the other side with chairs. Both sides were pretty much sitting shoulder to shoulder. The other were square tables with chairs. The chairs were pretty much touching with other table chairs. — Food — Now, I said it was amazing, and it was. However…(Stomp stomp) the soup was cool to lukewarm. The mesclun salad had some bad slimy leaves we had to pick out. They may need more staff to help with the service, or revamp the management to smooth out some of their short comings. Overall, my wife and I enjoyed the food and the quaint countryside getaway.

Took over ½ to get our food which is disappointing considering our food didn’t need to be cooked(sandwich and soup). Salad portion is big but everything else is small for the price they charge for. Food is bland. Nice atmosphere for dining but service is slow.

This Le Pan is kind of dirty and definitely loud, the worst I’ve been to. The food and drink is still good but the service is slow. If you have the opportunity to eat at other Le Pan locations, do that instead.

I am a fan of le pain quotidien in Los Angeles. I have to say this apricots franchise Tyson corner has a lot of work to do to improve their service. The croissant was old and when I asked, they said it was made that morning. Hence I guess their recipe needs to be changed. I waited 15 min got an omelette and then decided to leave !

5 stars for their Belgian waffles. I got one to-go. I dined in and ordered from the lunch menu. I was surprised at the prices. The food was a little pricey and what I received was blah in taste and presentation. The menus were sticky and visibly dirty, my waiter was so slow, took forever to bring my check and never gave me any water with my meal. I am willing to give this place another try. Definitely not this location but I’d love to give them another shot and try something from their breakfast menu or even stop in just to pick up a waffle.

The food was good but it took 40 minutes to get a cheese and meat platter that should take 5 minutes. I had to ask for a straw twice because our waitress kept forgetting. Overall the service was incredibly slow. It wasn’t even that busy since it’s a Tuesday. We had to go inside before the meal just to tell them we we’re waiting, even though they are supposed to come out and wait on you. Both tables next to us had dirty dishes on them and were never cleared. It was pretty gross.

Came here with a friend, per his request. The atmosphere and the decoration was very cute, and fancy. The service is on the slower side, but the food was good. The price was very expensive, considering the ingredients and the taste. A good portion of the menu was vegan, so if you want a lot of meat-menu, then this is not the restaurant for you, but if you like local, organic food, this place has a menu just for you :) Definitely a cute, fancy restaurant for vegans!

3.5 Stars Having worked retail at Tysons Corner in a past life, Nordstrom Café was my respite when I wanted to escape all the noise of suburbia. Since then, the mall has expanded in leaps and bounds, especially food options. Le Pain Quotidien located right outside of Bloomingdale’s and can also be accessed from inside the department store. LPQ is a place you go when you aren’t feeling famished. You can’t pronounce the name, but you go here in search of fare that makes you feel better about your food choices – think organic, vegetarian, and gluten free. Anyway, LPQ is good for breakfast or brunch. We came here for an early dinner before our movie. I ordered their six-vegetable tart, which I’ve had before. It comes with a mixed greens salad and bread. Had a glass of sauvignon blanc. Not mind blowing but I felt good about eating veggies. Service was good as not many people dine here in the evening. If you want to watch what you eat, go to LPQ. You spending $ 12 – 15 for your entrée, seriously contemplate ordering an additional item or dessert. But then you look at your check and reconsider. Portion control at its best. Food and drink for two was about $ 46, and we left slightly satiated.

The food is quite good but expensive for what it is(simple, casual fare). The service(at all LPQ locations, not just this one) is the slowest I have ever experienced at a restaurant. Do not go here if you have anything else you need to do on the same day.

I would only go here for pastries and coffee but not actual food. They offer tartines which are basically toppings are top of two slice of whole wheat toasts cut into small pieces. They are delicious but definitely do not worth $ 10-$ 15. I can make it at home too for $ 5 probably… They have benoffee which is a banana cream + fresh cream tart that is really delicious. The place is European, clean, and not too crowded — seems like a good alternative to Starbucks for studying and meeting for small group projects.

The quality of the food is great. The service is European… slow. The atmosphere is very communal and European. Lots of wood tables long and short. The food is not cheap and of course that service is left tot be desired. I ordered the tuna sandwich and paid $ 15.00 for one slice of wheat sourdough topped with not canned tuna, caper aioli, olives, and red onions. Don’t get me wrong it was very good but not 15.00 good. The meat and cheese plate was tasty but man that bleu cheese was potent! We tried the minestrone soup and it didnt taste tinny or canned. It was fabulous! My wife got the quiche… Anyway we also ordered dessert, the berry rhubarb crumble. Talk about sour but yet addictive. If you want that French/European ambiance, you’ll get it here along with the food, and the prices! But quality is very good and ir’s not heavy food either!

Amazing!!! Caught up with a friend and so glad she picked this place for quality! Cute and charming environment, awesome food and organic, local etc etc! Served real butter, I had the goat cheese omelette and it was sooo good… Chocolate croissant was fresh… Friend had rice pudding topped with mulberry… Tried it and it was tasty not that sweet… Great bread selection! Didn’t want to leave but if I didn’t leave my scale back home would be unhappy…

Wow, pretty good for a chain. it is a nice place to eat and chat. All are delicious. So expect to pay a little more. The fresh lemonade for $ 4.xx is reasonable, I think. When I am at the mall, I get what what I want to get. The price won’t stop me from enjoying my day out. Love it.

I’d only eaten at LPQ once before, and that was for breakfast, so when I found myself at Tysons during lunch, I figured if give it a try. It’s located just outside Bloomingdales, on the quieter end of the mall from the big restaurants and food court options. Food: options are generally tasty, with French-themes. Lots if omelet and tartine(open face sandwich) choices, some salads and a daily special or two. Costs range from $ 9 – 15. My quiche Lorraine($ 12) was a smallish slice served with greens and a citrus dressing. Pleasant flavors but certainly not filling. I added a chocolate croissant($ 4) that was flaky and delicious… but could have used more chocolate. Service: Meh. I’ve asked for tea twice. At $ 3.40, the servings should be generous. Next time I’ll stick with water. The atmosphere and light options here are lovely, but maybe not enough to make me a regular.

I love this place. Everything about it, from the European feel to the food. So today I had the watermelon cooler from their seasonal menu and ordered for the avacado and tomato omelette, followed by the Belgian waffle. The watermelon cooler was a literal cooler for the hot summer day on this Saturday. It had this nice mix of lime and watermelon. I really liked the avacado and tomato omelette too. You won’t feel very heavy after eating that as well as you will feel good. But, my friends, my ultimate favorite, the Belgian waffle: it literally melts in your mouth, each bite. It’s amazing. Perfectly sweet and a must try at this place! I will recommend this place to just about anyone. A decent speed at service and lovely place for a weekend breakfast/brunch. Go for it guys! :)

I had a meeting here and the service was attentive. We were checked on numerous times to see if we wanted drinks, bread to snack on, dinner, etc. I ordered the quiche lorraine and a strawberry lemonade. The quiche is ok — is was a lot blander than I could have ever expected. The crust was good, flaky, and buttery, but the cheese, meat and vegetables didn’t have much taste at all. It’s also a small piece for being over $ 10. The quiche came with a little side salad and it was very blah. There was a citrus dressing that came with it and there was more oil than citrus, so my salad was very forgettable. The strawberry lemonade was pretty tart. I could tell there was already a good amount of sugar in it — not worth the $ 4.77(with tax). I can cross this one off the list of places to eat at the mall.
