Domino’s Pizza

I haven’t had a Domino’s Pizza in forever. I know they’ve been advertising that they changed their pizza, but haven’t tried it yet. So the other night, as the weather was bad and Marysville was in the middle of icy rain, I thought pizza sounded good. And I had seen the sign outside that a large two topping was only $ 5.99. So I ordered a large pepperoni and beef. The wait was quick-​maybe 10 minutes and I was out the door. From the first bite I was hooked. While I could argue I’ve had better toppings, the Parmesan crust was awesome. And it seemed like the box weighed a ton. I could only finish half the pizza, and the next day I couldn’t wait to get home and eat the other half. I’ll definitely be keeping my eyes open for coupons or specials in the future. If you haven’t had Domino’s in a while, you should definitely give them a try. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is I’ve only been there once so far and for one thing.

I have to say, Dominos has really stepped up it’s game. I’ve ordered from this location several times and everything has been great. Ok let me just tell you, if you haven’t ordered a pasta bowl, google your nearest Dominos RIGHT NOW and order yourself one. The bread crust is phenomenal. It’s garlicy, brushed with butter and sprinkled with fine grated parmesan cheese. The pasta inside is always good. Tonight I had the sausage marinara, but the star of this dish is the bread bowl. Super fresh and you’ll be full as hell, but you will finish this thing because you just can’t stop eating.
Oh and the dessert? The chocolate lava cakes are SHUT YOUR MOUTH good. Paula Deen who? Bam what? Emeril and Paula ain’t got nuthin on Dominos lava cakes. Ok so let me just explain the gooey goodness you can expect. Each order comes with 2 mini lava cakes. The cake has a chewy brownie edge like outer shell that is so moist & chewy and once you bite in, ooey gooey chocolate lava runs out. Eat these in private cause honey you’re gonna be licking your fingers clean. Oh and if you’re trying to impress someone by cooking them dinner, order these for dessert, slap one on a plate with a scoop of ice cream and your ass is sure to get lucky later on,
The pizza’s are pretty good, but the pasta bowls steal the spotlight for me. I had to laugh at my delivery guy tonight «you look very pretty tonight» «your outfit is really nice». Dude wanted a tip bad. I should have messed with him a little but I just wanted my food pronto.
I know on those nights I don’t want to cook, this will be my plan B. Give them a try and see for yourself. I’ll be the first to say «told ya so»!!
