Common Ground Ceremonies

This is such a long overdue review… My wife and I got married in 2013 and couldn’t have been happier with Rev Samora! I enthusiastically recommend her to anyone reading this…
She met with us and really took the time to get to know us, our story, and what we wanted to get out of our ceremony. We didn’t have the most traditional ceremony (it was in a restaurant in front of just our family) and wanted to keep it short, but also very personal. To be fair, we weren’t even sure what we wanted, so after that meeting I wasn’t sure what to expect. But what Samora produced exceeded expectations. It was by far the easiest part of planning our wedding because she was able to create a ceremony we didn’t even know we wanted.
I have no doubt, that whatever type of ceremony you want, Samora will take the time to really craft it just for you. She is wonderful and I’m so happy we found her. She should really have 100s of Unilocal reviews, so if you’ve stumbled across this, you’ve found your hidden gem!

Rev Samora was perfect! We are a lesbian couple who were marrying after 13 years of being together. I was marrying for the first time at the age of 63, and my wife was marrying for the first time at the age of 54! Seems like Rev Samora knew exactly what to say to make our wedding full of meaning! My (now) husband and I knew the second we met Samora that she was the perfect person to officiate our ceremony. We met with a few other officiants and they all wanted to use a cookie cutter formula whereas Samora was intent on getting to know us and truly tailoring her words to our personalities as well as our journey. She was organized, easy to work with and a calming presence in even the most stressful of moments during the day of craziness. I would highly recommend her for any couple out there!

When my fiancé and I began to look at officiant’s for our wedding we were very overwhelmed with the many choices out there. With the ceremony being the most important part of the wedding, we wanted to ensure we had someone that could tell our love story and create a truly special ceremony. After our first meeting with Samora we booked immediately, she was so interested in our story and the overall vision for our wedding, it made us feel that she truly wanted to be a part of our big day. Leading up to the wedding she provided the «script» and was more than willing in to make a few iterations to capture exactly what we wanted. She even stopped over to our apartment a few weeks before the wedding to walk through the ceremony details and make sure we were 100% comfortable. The ceremony itself was beautiful and we are still impressed that someone we had only met once or twice was able to tell a beautiful love story and capture our guests.
