The pizza is good and huge. I can barely finish 2 slices. The crust is thin and crunchy, the way I like my pizza. I had their hot sub and it was delicious. I like this place the best compare to other pizzeria around the area. The price is great. 2 slice and a drink 4 bucks. Hot sub and a drink 5 bucks. Service is good. The workers are friendly and I always gets my food in lets than 10 mins.

They don’t do anything fancy at Bambino’s, but I’d argue that this is better than the other pizza shop(the ever-present Ray’s at 26th and Lexington) that’s in the neighborhood that serves your standard-fare pizza. Their deal(2 slices + soda for $ 4.50) is pretty solid considering most of these places tend to charge $ 2.50 for a slice nowadays. I actually got the special when it was $ 4 after a long day of work and I had no motivation for cooking. The sauce is a bit more flavorful, and the crust isn’t as thick as it can be on these slices. They definitely don’t skimp on size either — you get a pretty big slice for your money’s worth. All in all, it’s a very solid little shop that does your typical cheese slice well. I can’t speak to what the pizza with toppings is like, but I generally leave that to the finer places.

After I checked out Whiskey Rebel, my friends and I went to grab a slice of pizza at Bambino’s before heading home. Yes, it is a standard pizzeria, but it is one of the only pizzerias in the area, so that’s a plus right there. The staff couldn’t have been nicer and the pizza was good too! We split the garlic knots, one ordered the pepperoni and liked it and two of us split a personal buffalo chicken pizza(I had a hankering for it and they made it just for us). You can easily split this pizza 4 ways if you’re not that hungry… my second slice took some effort. They give you Ken’s salad dressing packets for your ranch or blue cheese sauce(I like that you get an option and went with Ranch). I thought the pizza was cooked too long so it was a bit crispier than I would have preferred. Also, they put down marinara sauce first, a pet peeve when I order buffalo chicken. But I talked to them about it and they said sometimes they don’t do that, so if you order some, just simply request that they only use that delicious buffalo sauce when making your pizza. Another plus is that they make buffalo chicken rolls for only $ 5. That’s the first I’ve seen… I’m used to regular chicken rolls and love them, but the buffalo twist was a nice surprise. They’re also building a garden in the back which will be nice for some outdoor dining.

I checked in here, midway through my 2 slices and a soda that I got for $ 4(good deal) saying that it was a «decent slice.» After pondering my meal at Bambino’s a great deal, I wondered… why should I settle for a «decent slice?» I am in New Fuckin York! We allegedly have some of the best pizza in the world! And that reputation didn’t start with fancy pizza places, it started with small shops like this. Yet somehow the bar has been lowered. I have a dream. A dream that I will one day see the opening scene from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turltes II: Secret of the Ooze reenacted in real life.(Everyone walks around eating pizza and is just amazed in general how good pizza is.) To do this, shops like Bambino’s that are content to shovel out mediocre slice after mediocre slice need to step up their game.

Wow! One of the best street slices Ive had in NY…2 of them plus a soda is $ 4.50…Amaaaazing! Maybe the last reviewer had a completely different kind of pizza than me, because this is def. not mediocre pizza… its not fancy, its not gourmet, but for a cheap street slice it’s about as good as you can get!

New pizza place in the Kips Bay/Murray Hill area. Decent amount of space and seating. They have a good deal — 2 cheese slices + can of soda for $ 4.50. Mediocre pizza but the slices are huge. Was good enough to split between me and my friend. I’d say this place is on par with Pasta Fina which is a block away.
