Stephanie is amazing!
I am not the type of person that regularly gets their hair done, so I didn’t know where to begin. I had visited many hairstylists in the past, but never felt connected to my dresser.
Stephanie took her time to get to know me, and listened to my needs. Sounds silly, but it is important for your stylist to know how much you do to your hair! I told her I’m a «wash and go» kind of a person, and my hair grows fast, so she suggested an hombre, and a cut that would flatter my minimalist needs. She gave me a hair 101 (how to curl correctly, what to look for in a blow dryer, etc), and gave me tips on how to maintain color (which translates to $$$).
Stephanie is a hair doctor!
I will NEVER go anywhere else.

I visited Stephanie Garcia at Headcase Salon for the first time back in June, as I wanted to do something crazy with my hair for Electric Daisy Carnival.
I didn’t have a definitive vision of how I wanted my hair to end up, except I knew I wanted my hair to be colored deep-​pink, with stars and shooting stars outlined into my hair in different colors. (Look at the pics, they are AWESOME!!!)
Stephanie and I had been in touch prior to my appointment, and I shared with her google images of star shaped designs I found appealing. This gave her a basic idea of what I was hoping for. However, I knew I wanted a different variation.
Stephanie was well prepared by the time of our appointment and had already created some star-​shaped stencils. After bleaching my hair, Steph began shaving the star designs into each side of my head. I trusted her right away, and gave her complete artistic and creative freedom of which designs to use on each side.
The result was excellent! I must have been stopped at least 20 – 30 times each night of the festival, people complimenting me and wanting to take pictures with me. Even now that I’ve had my haircut since, there’s still some pink remaining on top of my head and looks great. I plan to keep dying my hair every 2 – 3 months just to keep my look fresh and exciting!
Headcase’s décor is visually appealing and a relaxed atmosphere. Parking is easy, and there’s wine/​beer and snacks on site as an added bonus. But most importantly, Stephanie is sweet, personable, and is passionate about being a stylist!
