I just recently moved to California and never heard of Togo or been there before. I was given a gift card and figured I take advantage of a free sandwich. I assumed that it was similar to a Subway’s. Boy, was I wrong! Ingredients are so fresh! 100x better than Subway! The tomatoes, bread & everything else was very fresh(I ordered the Turkey avocado w/“everything” on the honey wheat bread). They are generous with the meat portion. I ordered a 9″ and it was a tad under $ 10 — it’s a bit more than Subway, but worth it!

Togo’s isn’t bad. I enjoyed their hot pastrami sandwich and they have $ 6 deal for a different 6 inch sandwich each day of the week. I come here to eat right before I go to the gym to get energy to complete my workouts. I really just don’t see anything special compared to other sandwich shops.

I got the roast beef sandwich as their special on Thursday! It was really good and a good value! I think it was less than $ 10 for the sandwich, chips and drink! I was able to split the sandwich into two meals and it was delicious! Will definitely be back!

Good portions but not so tasty. I went here because I walk by here almost everyday. Expected better taste for the price. It’s an ok meal…

This review is about service and not the food since I didn’t actually get to eat from here. I placed a pick up order at 7:30 to be picked up at 8pm.(2 sandwiches and 2 soups). Why place a pick up order at Togos? I know this may seem like I’m doing too much — but parking sucks and I was hoping to just run in and pick it up. My plan for a quick pick-up failed so I decided to park in the structure and pay that lousy $ 2 fee($ 2 for 1st20 minutes). When I get to the restaurant 5 minutes early(7:55) the door was locked at a guy was mopping so I knocked on the door was told they were out of soup and decided to cancel my order because they were closing. He tells me he tried calling — I looked at my phone and saw missed call at 7:51. I’ll give them credit for trying to get a hold of me, but why wait 9 minutes before I was supposed to pick up the order to call. If I got a call at 7:30 when I placed the order it could have saved us all a headache and some time. Also why make it an option to pick up food if the restaurant is going to close early? They didn’t even bother asking if I still wanted the sandwiches or even apologize.

As you can probably tell by my other reviews, I’m a «creature of habit». If I find something I like, I stick with it! Well, Togo’s(this location), has now become something I like, and a habit. I eat here at least once or twice a week and the quality of the food and the service have always been great. I tried the online ordering a couple of times, but I found it was faster to just call in my order. Once the manager got my order wrong, but he had no problem giving me a free sandwich the next time I came in; that is what you call CUSTOMERSERVICE! I noticed many of the negative reviews were kind of old; I just started coming here in November of last year, so maybe they’ve «cleaned up their act»; all I know is I continue to receive excellent food and excellent service. I don’t know all the workers by name, but they know who I am and I’m always greeted with a «Hello» and a smile.

Asked to substitute a meat breakfast sandwich for cheese and avocado and was flatly told it was not possible. This business will try to squeeze every penny out of you. If I don’t eat the meat I am saving you money.

..I’ve tried Subway before and not yet Quizno’s, but TOGO’s., [analyses sandwich] is good. Their whole-wheat bread with roast beef [instead of turkey] and avocado was flavorful and juicy. Will be trying others of my own with more veg’s and meat. Looking forward towards another bite!

Actually a 3.5 I only get the tuna salad, roast beef, or turkey on ciabatta. If you compare just these three sandwiches to Subway, Togo’s wins hands down. The bread alone makes it better. Subway has more choices, but in my book, mo’ choices don’t equate to mo’ better. The absence of 8 leaves of spinach, 20 slices of black olive, or 8 slices of cucumber doesn’t sway me. …I just end up at Subway more often because they have more locations(sometimes open 24h) I would go to Bay Cities or even Jersey Mike’s more often if there were more of them, or closer to my home/commute.

This location has mid level service and the staff is usually pretty flat in the personality department. However, the quality of product that the Togos brand is attempting to produce cannot be denied. The sandwich was pretty good, although it was not for me and I had a piece of it. The bread is always spot on and the overall sandwich presentation was excellent. Moreover, it was ok as a sandwich but I doubt I return to this location. When I want Togo’s I will stick with my USC location!!!

The only thing good about this place is that they’re fast. Besides that, the tuna tasted weird, the bread was stale and the lettuce was wilted. Maybe I came in too late(right before 2) but I’ve had better sandwiches in this area(Bob’s Café)!

This place sucks! Came here to just the Unilocal deal but said it can’t be used on specials sandwiches. the sandwich maker actually went to get the manager about a fountain drink?! wow, its only a dollar and some change, so i just said«i just buy the combo!» they were making a big deal about this Unilocal deal… also sandwiches tastes like crap! Bread tasted bad and is not fresh. The meats were all processed and looked worse than a school cafeteria. Worst sandwich i’ve had this year. and a complete waste of my money. a combo will cost you about $ 8 dollars, use that to get a better lunch. OVERALL: Skip this place and customer service is terrible!

A true 5 star gosh, I never knew this place until I came to LA and I’m thinking this is another place along with In N Out burger that Seattle is missing out hehe I love love love all their sandwichea and soups and so far I have tried prettt much all of them on the menu! I especially would recommened the combo deal, you can choose 2 out of small soup, salad, or a half sandwich and I must admit this is a hearty meal indeed! Their sandwiches are so good and filling and of top of it if you get this combo deal, it will be so so worth it! Trust me, you have to go find a nearby Togo’s right now and try one of their locations if you like sandwiches as mucha as I do! All the workers are super friendly and they have plenty of options. You should also try their wraps, my gosh. They are ALL super mouth-watering :)

Same Togo’s you all know and love(or hate). Their location is in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Koreatown so you’ll find many different people here. Good place to grab a lunch to go, but not necessarily to stay.

Stopped in and took advantage of the free 20 oz drink to go with my #30. The interior appeared clean and well-kept. The sandwich was standard fare. That’s where the positives end. As I didn’t have cash on hand, I had to pay by plastic. The worker took my card and processed the payment out of my sight which made me very uncomfortable. As a security researcher and a victim of card skimming, I know how much of a pain it is to sort out the mess thanks to a fraudster. I’d like to be at ease. Better yet, I’ll just pay in cash next time around.

It’s the best sandwich shop compared to the other 2 famous ones around town. Togo’s selections are much more healthier and great tasting. Their Chunky Chicken Salad Sandwich on wheat bread is one of my favorite sandwiches from here. The Farmer’s Market Salad is very crisp and fresh. There are a variety of salad dressings available but I choose balsamic dressing since its low calorie and pairs up nicely with the leafy lettuces, feta cheese, and all the garden vegetables. The Asian chicken salad is very delicious! It’s the perfect food for hot, summer days. Very clean and always stocked. The staff is helpful and polite here. I love the fact that I received a 20 oz drink for free by checking in on Unilocal!WOOHOO! Great spot to have a quick, light, and healthy lunch.
