To everyone who said the customer service was bad, you’re dead wrong. Take your time to appreciate the people making you a piece of their heritage and I promise you they will reciprocate. I’ve been to every single place that sells lacmahcun in LA and they’re all $ 1 but the difference is the lady working in the front all day. She might not have a lot to say but she cares. I came in this morning with $ 2 and I normally order 10+ lamahcuns but she gave me 4 instead of just 2. She just smiled and continued about her business but it made me happy the whole day. She always asks if you want it heated up and she’ll give you fresh ones if she just made some. You can see the times everything was made right on the counter. The beorek are awesome especially the spinach and beef but the lamahcuns are the best period.

I used to spend HOURS making Armenian pizzas with my grandmother. She was an AMAZING cook, especially of authentic Armenian food. These Armenian pizzas are without a doubt better than my grandmothers(she’s probably turning in her grave for me to say this) but without the endless hours of slaving in the kitchen, these pizzas are the BEST!!!

Service here is stellar. The folks who operate this place are the salt of the earth. The food is mediocre nothing to brag about

They have some looking good staff, for the bakery I can give 4 stars but When i brought some poor/look like homeless people and want to buy something for them, like food, borak or lahmacun she acted so weird, not polite, don’t answer the Question for those poor people, we all equal, we don’t know what life going to bring us… So I gave 2 stars for her personality and this is the 1st time, I been here and it will be last time … Not recommend if you wanna buy food for homeless people even if you going to pay it …

Talk about a hidden gem! This place is so good and dirt cheap. The Lamajunes which are like mini pizzas were only $ 1 each! Will definitely be going back for more.

The lahmajunes here are delicious and for $ 1 the price is right. Came here before a Dodgers game for a quick snack and the lady working was able to heat up the lahmajunes for us. Can’t believe they’re just a $ 1 My Friend said it was basically Armenian fast food. Which seems to be way better than American fast food. Took off a star because the lady was not the most friendly and we had to wait a while to order.

Found myself stranded in this neighborhood at 730 in the morning. Needed food and coffee. This place was close so went looking for oatmeal or yogurt and iced tea for her, coffee and sweets for me. I guess I went to wrong place… nothing sweet, no tea, no coffee… nothing but RUDE employees. I explained I didn’t know about their food, but no explanation was offered… it was like«If you don’t know what you want, why are you in my bakery?» I asked if their were other options nearby due to dietary restrictions and was only afforded a shrug and scowl. I said, «your service is so bad I don’t even want to spend money here! On a positive note — hence the 2 stars — the bottled water was pleasantly chilled. Since I didn’t know anything about their products, and the lady behind the counter(probably in her 30s, with a look, demeanor and attitude of an 80 year old) to give me whatever is best… I ended up with some cheesy bread thing with no further description from the unpleasant hostess. If I ever find myself stranded in this neighborhood again I will definitely be going elsewhwere… even if it requires driving to downtown or Pasadena!

Dear Unilocalers, please shush up about service! Ethnic places with immigrant workers serving immigrant communities operate the way they do in their countries of origin. It’s not that they’re being rude to you, it’s that your standard for service is different. That’s just how the shit is back home and people aren’t adjusting fast enough, plus the target demo isn’t exactly an American who comes in to spend $ 2 because they’re stranded. Judging the food within it’s category I can safely say it’s as good as we can get in the area. It’s legit and authentic, including the straight-up, no frills, or fake smiles you get at the counter. I get the same in little Bangla, KoreaTown and accept it the nature of that culture.

Some damn good borek. First time trying and quite impressed at how tasty they are, like little Armenian calzones and pizzas! Thank goodness this place has its own parking lot. Seating is limited to a couple tables outside. $ 10 minimum on cards. Was a big fan of the cheese, spicy cheese(not even that spicy. A 1.5 star on the Thai scale) and potato borek. The spinach just wasn’t my thing. Everything is cheap($ 1 – 3) so try em all. Would definitely come back again.

Before going here I used to get lahmajunes or(Armenian pizza) from many different places. However, when I tried Taron’s lahmajunes I never bought them from other places again. They are perfectly shaped and cooked which makes them extremely delicious and good looking. The cashier was extremely nice and helpful. She happily assisted me with my order without any trouble. If you are looking for the best and reasonably priced bakery this should be your first choice.
