I liked to go to this place often but once they remodeled I went in and they told me it was korean only and not for white people… I said let me get this straight… This place is for Koreans only and they said«yes sorry»

Food is great. Seriously, for the price you wouldn’t be able to find better quality. What’s keeping this restauraunt at a solid 3 though is that the restauraunt looks run down, the staff there always looks tired(I walked in on them sleeping on the chairs one time), and they are not very welcoming. But if your willing to over look the above– I would recommend trying this place out.

Who is ready for some authentic Korean food, this place has it all, from the stews to bulgogi to the thick Korean pancakes that are thick and full of fresh ingredients. The atmosphere is perfect for a quiet dinner for two and the service is great. Now let me tell you from the start the place is not a 5 star restaurant, where the waiters are snooty and the appetizers are how can I say… you know what I mean. If you want SoJu and spicy seafood stew, then this is the place for you, if you want snooty waiters and not so appetizing finger food then go to, ask«Sara K.», seems she knows that kind of place. The owner just opened a few months ago, can’t expect the place to be like the Ritz, give it a chance and you just might enjoy it.

Best lunch I’ve possibly ever had. I happened to walk in here during an extended lunch break and ordered the lunch special of rice noodle and dumpling soup. Wow, a lot of food to eat, including a variety of side dishes. It was almost too much quantity to handle, and one of the side was very spicy, but overall a surprisingly excellent meal in this modest location.

This is what I call a definite no. I came here a few months ago after hearing that the lobster seafood stew was worthwhile. We came in to a nearly empty restaurant and placed our order. When the food came out, it was so disappointing. As the lady dropped off our food, she told us that they ran out of lobster and so they instead put in an extra octopus for us. They didn’t ask us if that was okay, they didn’t inform us beforehand and see if we wanted something us. They just put in another octopus and went on their merry way. No apologies, nothing. The food was alright. It wasn’t amazing, and I’ve definitely had better. Not worth the price. After your meal, they offer a selection of things to put into your stew to finish off the broth. We asked for ramen noodles and were told that they were all out. Okay. We asked for udon noodles and were told they didn’t have any left. Alright. We asked for a Hite and were told that they were all out. Fine. What DID they have in stock exactly? It was 6pm on a Saturday, there were no people, and it seemed like they didn’t have anything. When our check came, of course, they charged us for the full price of the lobster seafood stew. We paid, left, and felt a little like we had been swindled. Don’t go here. There are so many better places you can go in Koreatown for seafood stew. This place isn’t worth it.

I still can’t believe it’s true:46 $ for a giant soup(to make 4 hungry people full) with a full lobster, big soft octopus, 2 crabs, marcel and at least 3 types of exotic shellfish(one of which came in such an unusual shell, that i took it home to decorate my bathroom).I repeat: all that exciting deliciousness for 46 $! Eating it was like diving in the Red sea: i never knew what underwater creature would turn up on my spoon. Just wow!

Frozen seafood? Oh no. I would rather pay more and have fresh seafood korean soup. It needs to improve. Their side dishes are so bad too. It’s very frustrating. I won’t come back again!

Great place. Had the altang tang(fish eggs) and it was undeniably the best I ever had. The taegu(black cod) tang was incredible! The soup was great just like my chagi makes at home. Incredible place, definitely worth trying. It’s my favorite place for tang!

That seafood stew is off the chart! Lobster in it! Lobster! Gotta try this joint. A bit off the beaten path and a bit hole in the wall, but that’s what the real good stuff is made! Gotta try!

Best Seafood place ever in Ktown. If you are a true seafood lover you should definitely try this place. However, this place isn’t big. Family owns this place. Very friendly service as well. Btw, this is not a sushi or sashimi place, but Korean seafood restaurant. Soups and stirfried squid are great! Try this place and enjoy your seafood moment.
