I have been going to Subways since they first opened and never have I been told that they are only allowed to put 3 pieces of any given vegetable on a sandwich. This newfound information came straight from the manager, Lori, at this location. She was so rude and argumentative and insisting that previous Subways have been doing it wrong all these years. She even had the audacity to point to the pictures on the wall to show how sandwiches should look. Needless to say I will never go back to this Subway and I will be spreading the word at my job to stay away. No wonder why I walked straight up to the counter at noon when the line use to be out the door. She needs to be fired!!!

All subways are pretty standard, but this one is a pretty good location. The employees are always nice and it’s in a good location in downtown LA near the Disney Concert Hall and has a nice water fountain out front to enjoy while you eat. The employees here always friendly and have never messed up my order. Plus this location has the veggie patties, which is great for vegetarians since not all Subways do. It’s a great spot to grab lunch if you’re downtown.

This is conveniently located for me to get a quick, inexpensive bit too eat. I usually get a cold cut sandwich, on Italian Herbs & Cheese. The sandwich is good, but it seems at different locations the bread is stale and hard. I keep thinking of the reports of the additives that were in the bread… Any how, I’ll be back when I need something quick.

Subway is pretty much Subway anywhere you go, unless you have the unfortunate luck of dining at a bad one. This one however is in a great location – very near Walt Disney Concert Hall and the Music Center. Originally, we were going to have dinner at First and Hope in the same center, but those dumasses shut down and didn’t bother to stop taking reservations. So this became plan B. It was much more affordable and left us with extra spending $ to pay ridiculous prices for adult beverages at the LA Opera. Salud!

Great location for a quick bite before a show, play or performance at the Music Center. Not the Patina or Kendells. Just a quickie before a show to hold you over. Or if you are around in the neighborhood, very convenient to stop in lunch or breakfast. Clean fast and they will get you out. In The Promenade Plaza with 1st and Hope, Tutti Frutti, Credit Union, Bikrim Yoga, Nail place, Axis and Prime Grind coffee shop, good option nearby.

It should not be this difficult to order breakfast. I was at first wondering healthy options… do they have turkey sausage for breakfast. First Lady didn’t know then second lady said no. I was trying to understand what came with the«custom breakfast combo» and the First Lady didn’t seem to understand my question. Second lady no seemed bothered and said just the ingredients of the breakfast sandwich. So I asked again saying that didn’t sound like a combo. Then she answers the same. I said that didn’t make sense. Then she names the sandwich and then the coffee. Ok. Thank you that’s what I wanted to know. Then I order with the First Lady the sandwich but with egg white. She asks what bread? I say the 3″ flatbread. She said no, combo only comes with 6″… But the labeled name«custom breakfast combo» was next to the 3″. I asked confused. If the 3″ is $ 2.75 and 6″ is $ 3.75 how can you offer the«combo» for $ 3. It get stares from both like I am crazy. I then ask again«ok then am I paying $ 3 extra for the combo if you are saying I HAVE to get the 6″?» Now not only do I get crazy looks but treated like my questions are really bothering them. Btw there was no line and I was not holding anyone up while I attempted to order breakfast. Never been tarted like this at a Subway. I am new to this location but now yoga here next door often. I wanted to make a routine of eating this healthier breakfast often(like I did last weekend) but not After THAT. I got eye rolls. So I just said never mind it shouldn’t be this hard and left. I seriously can’t see ever going back there. I’ll go to the Prime Grind coffee next door.(I was honestly afraid at this point at how my food would be handled since I bothered them do much!)

Subway’s are all the same, right! This location has fresh bread at least the times I’ve gone. Service is always great.

Egg white, turkey, and cheese on flat bread. Add avocado and southwest sauce. Yum! Good place to stop while walking in downtown LA. Near Disney Music Hall

Great inexpensive choice 30 minutes before a show; This chain place may not deserve all the stars on a Broadway review But my wallet is thanking convenience and price For the Tony, Grammy, or Oscar award And my belly was satisfied for its nominations in fast food

This Subway is close to my job. I try to go before the lunch rush. Why because they rush you through the line. The lady ask for your order when there are 2 or 3 people in front of you so you have to yell out your order. The line is always long at lunch time but I don’t mind waiting because it goes fast. But it just seems that I’m rushed and 9 times out of 10 I forget something because I’m rushed and my sandwich is not in front of me it’s in front of someone else. So 3 stars for the food and minus two stars for unorginization.

I always go to a different Subway so I know how it works. This place was OK. I was in the area and was hungry so I tried it. You can’t really go wrong with the taste at any subway. This place is conveniently next to Bikram and other stores near the Walt Disney Hall. One thing though. the ladies’ bathroom was dirty. No mirror. Trashcan was full and dirty.

The super poppy teeny bopper music is way too loud. Very unpleasant. At least the place was empty which allowed me not to stand in line.

This is horrible. I don’t think the employees can handle a little pressure and when it gets busy, they snap. I like my sandwich artists friendly like they are in the commercials. Walt Disney Hall show lets out and people go to Subway because that’s the fastest way to get food. I ordered a six inch turkey, not toasted and the lady throws my sandwich in the oven. That’s fine, I won’t say anything cause you’re busy. but she had the audacity to ask me if I wanted someone else’s sandwich toasted. Obviously, I’m confused so I ask what sandwich? She pulls it out of the oven, shoves it in my face, and screams THISONE. So the bitch in me unleashes and I have to yell at her back. I hope this lady will learn how to serve people correctly and get her orders right. That attitude is just plain old unacceptable.

I come here weekly for lunch and, fingers crossed, this place has been superb. The employees are very courteous, get your order correct, and are very fast. However, that said beware, the rush hour here during lunch is crazy as this is pretty much the only fast food around the court house — thus I suggest you either go early or after 1:15 in order to minimize the wait. Never had a problem getting any of the subway deals here. In fact, one time an employee made a mistake telling me the sub was still on special(which it wasn’t) but the employee was even nice enough to give it to me as a $ 5 footlong. Great place to grab a bite to eat if you are working nearby and in a rush.

OK, so this location is very convenient to my apartment. I visited during a time when I wasn’t feeling well. Though it might sound a bit odd, all I felt like was a scoop of tuna salad, hold the sandwich. At first they weren’t sure how to ring it up, but in the end the guy rang it up as a soup. It was salty, especially with the crackers as the delivery system. I felt even worse later that night but I can’t blame the food for certain. My dining companion seemed to be just fine, so I’ll let y’all know how/if my rating changes when I go back sometime.

A friend of mine and I went to this Subway before a matinée showing of Spring Awakening on a Saturday. The nice thing is it was only a block away from the Ahmanson theatre. The place was clean and the service was nice. However, my friend needed to use the restroom and the door said Vacant, but the door was locked. So one of the workers said they would unlock it for her, but never did. The one thing that bugs me about Subway is that I can never really get what I ordered. Sometimes I just want what’s in the picture. They ask you what you want on it, and you’re thinking, «Well, I don’t know what’s on it!» and you’re trying to make it look like the picture, but it never really seems to be the same. *That’s why Quizno’s rules!!!”
