This is by far the worst restaurant experience I have ever had. The food is okay, but definitely not good enough to deal with the owner’s attitude. The owner is terribly rude and does not know how to treat customers. I say this after being to the restaurant several times and being treated worse each time. First of all, the owner always charges more than is stated on the menu. For a phở plate that was roughly $ 8, she charges about $ 10. After checking the receipt, the receipt does not contain a description of the charges. I am guessing she tips herself. Secondly, I have ordered food for two people and she always places the big phở bowls and other food containers in one bag. Mind you, the bowls are heavy and full of broth so one bag even feels weak. I have asked her to separate the two orders into 2 separate bags, and she throws a fit every time! Today was the worst. When I asked her to separate the food, she ripped the bag open and literally threw the second order into a second bag. She wasn’t done though! After that, she grabbed the first bag, which still had the first order in it and which she had ripped open and somehow managed to tie the bag despite how ripped up it was. As she tied it, I heard something crack in the bag. The whole time I kept thinking«Wth is up with this lady?», but I took my order anyway and paid. When I got back into work, I realized that while trying to stuff the bag, she had broken one of the containers with my food. After the whole ordeal, the lady didn’t even say thank you. Her poor server looked so embarrassed at this lady’s behavior! The server was the only one to say thank you and the only one that was polite. I feel bad that she has to work under this mean old witch! Definitely never going back to this place and I do not recommend it to anyone unless you want to have an awful experience. Stay away from this place!

If you are not Asian, good luck getting a table to eat here. Asians get seated before non Asian patrons. And when you acknowledge their racism they just pretend they don’t know what you are talking about. Good times!

This is probably the WORSE Phở I have ever had in my life. And I’ve had quite few. I knew I should’ve walked out when I saw the menu was in Korean. The beef balls were bland and chewy. The broth was an odd flavor… not quite what to make of it. The filling in the eggrolls tasted sour. Bit into one and immediately spat it out. Definitely so not worth $ 8.75 a bowl nor $ 7.25 for sour eggrolls. We barely ate, quickly paid our bill and left.

Came here expecting a mediocre bowl of phở… and we didn’t even get that. We ordered the seafood phở and beef ball phở. The seafood phở looked nothing like the picture and had no more than 4 or 5 pieces of seafood. With 3 of the 5 being fish cake slices. The beef balls were completely tasteless and low quality. We also ordered egg rolls. Hell even frozen egg rolls would have been a step up. I’m still trying to figure out what the filling consisted of. The one thing I will give this place 5 stars for is the marketing. The menu ‚(which is in Korean; warning sign number one) has great pics and descriptions. The signage depicts great looking bowls of phở full of seafood and meats… you will get nothing even remotely close to it.

I’ve been a regular here since a year ago and let me tell you, this place has been great all the time! This place is pretty small so as a result, it can get pretty crowded during lunch time. It’s staffed by only the owner of the shop, an old lady while the rest are the kitchen staff. If you have the patience to wait as she makes her way through al the customers, then you’ll enjoy your time here. I always get the #38 which is half of a fried chicken with fried rice. The chicken is super crispy while the inside is juicy and soft. A must try if you don’t like Phở! The phở here is decent too but the #38 is a must try and a must have.

Came here with my friend with a quick lunch before we had to head back to class. We go to school across the street. I always pass by here on the daily. Which made me always wonder why haven’t I tried the food. The smell that comes out of this particular restaurant was one of the reasons why I had to try it. Plus I love phở. Well I finally ate here and mind you I did enjoy it more than I thought. I ordered the phở special with the egg rolls and drink. She ordered vermicelli the cold salad I believe number 24. She wanted chicken but they brought her beef. She did not want to say anything but she said it was delicious. I take her word for it. I on the other hand can say the phở is Devine. The broth is flavorful. The egg rolls are my favorite I can eat them non stop. From the looks of it they are filled with vermicelli and ground pork with veggies. The service was awesome. We got out food fast and they waiter was attentive. Did I mention it was a packed house. Our lunch was 30 minutes and we had enough time to eat. I have recommended this place already and I will be coming more often.

This place fucking sucks. I called in an order. They told me to get it in fifteen minutes. I get there and the cashier tells me that its not there and to order a new one. I told her I placed an order and she proceeded to ignore me. I asked when my food would be ready or if they were working on it and she just kept attending everyone else. I waited for 30 min until someone finally helped me out. Bastards didn’t even give me a discount for messing this whole thing up. Never coming back again. Almost chucked my food at their wall.

Probably the worst customer service ever. Never coming back. The lady is so rude. I know that places get busy, but it’s not appreciated at all to just blow off your customer who is in front of you. We called for take out and 1) the order wasn’t placed 2) we are just being blow off and treated like we don’t exist. I wouldn’t come back to a place where I’m not treated well.

I revisited this location yesterday for lunch and tried the well-done brisket phở. The broth was flavorful and it was just what I needed. Good and friendly service as well.

Ab-phở-lutely delicious! Who would’ve thunk that under the i10 fwy lies this little gem! Since our corporate office moved in this side of town, almost everyone in our office has become very vigilant in finding places to grub(obviously we LOVE to eat) unlike our previous location which was close to Chinatown & Little Tokyo, we now have to browse our handy dandy Unilocal app more often to discover hole-in-the-wall gems like Phở Saigon! The place maybe small but it packs a «wow» their Combo 1(Phở + 2 egg rolls) lunch menu is perfect if you are craving Phở and their nice and crunchy egg rolls! The Beef Phở, was loaded with thinly sliced rare steak which the hot and smoking broth slowly cooks, the broth is nice and flavorful perfect for this cool December afternoons, generous amount of noodles and complimentary sides of veggies come with this very affordable lunch! The egg rolls are so yummy! I could eat a dozen of those babies(but I won’t.maybe) Phở Saigon has a small parking which it shares with other businesses under the interstate, I opted for street parking along Hill St., it’s a short walk so no worries about that! They have indoor and outdoor seating, I think there’s outdoor heating as well for those really nippy lunch or dinners. Service was a bit slow but totally understandable as they are packed to the seams when we went there. I really like this place and for sure we’ll be back! Enjoy!

Love this phở place! I was in the area and was looking on Unilocal for somewhere to grab a quick lunch. I saw great reviews and had to check this place out. It’s a small spot in a shopping center that is easy to miss, however, I was surprised how popular this place was. The phở was absolutely delicious! Tender meats and with a great taste. The place is very clean and you can tell the food is made with high quality stuff. I tried the appetizer platter. It was great. You get 2 of each of the rolls. The spring rolls I loved! They had a very generous portion of shrimp in each roll. The egg rolls were also delicious and had a very nice crisp and flavor. The servers were nice and friendly and the service was fast.

Don’t judge this place by its appearance… Best Phở I’ve had in a wile. I got the brisket Phở number 16. The meat was nice and tender and the broth was nice and clear with a delicious after taste that keeps u coming for more even after u feel full, your stomach seems to make more space for it.

Im viet and from oc so i know what real phở taste like. When im feeling homesick or just down under the weather i hit this place up. Why? Cause the portions are huge, free parking, and it actually taste like phở. Not the best since the best is in little saigon orange county but passable enough to satisfy your craving. Im surprised cause this joint is owned by korean folks but the broth is light, noodles arent mushy, and they give enough meat so you dont feel like you got ripped off by paying almost 8 bucks a bowl. Ive tried almost every phở place in ktown trust me on this — phở saigon is number 1

Phở-bulous! Seriously. Best phở made by Koreans under a freeway in L.A. Service? If you’re lucky. Don’t be shy… go up the counter and place your order. They don’t bite. Secret: the Vietnamese Iced Coffee is to die for. Another secret: I think they close up shop for dinner. Call ahead to be sure. Lastly, enjoy!
