They served a food fast. Its good for person who doesn’t have enough time to eat. But you can smell little bit a pig. But nothing bother you

One complaint I have since my last post is everytime i order this dish, the tofu is prepared differently(still good, but not the way they had made it the time i ranted and raved)…also the portion of rice vascilates between semi-appropriate for the cost and not even enuff rice to halfway cover the bottom of a to go tray… and the fact that its a rice plate with no sides… :(and i love this place but a ten dollar plate of rice, and not knowing which one youll get… i will stick to this place solely for phở, rice from thai patio :)

Good customer relations too. Customer brought in a half eaten to go dish and stated that it was overcooked. Person in charge stated that it was already half eaten and politey handed the item back. Customer walked out of the business saying,“They will overcook the food here.” I have no problem with that since I ordered the brisket noodle which is well done. I prefer my meat well done anyways. My favorite is the Brisket. Highly satisfied with the first visit today. Was on a 30 minute break and was able to eat and run with only a five minute tardiness. Vietnamese Phở has always been a favorite dish of mine. It is really a must have. Cannot imagine living without it. Good menu item to select whenever you decide to have it. best part of it all is that it is right across the street from work.

First of all, I felt like this place is over priced before I received my sub-par food. For paying more than $ 10 for a sandwich and a boba, it better be pretty darn good, but it wasn’t here. The sandwich had fatty pieces of meat throughout it that I had to spit out. The boba smoothie was very sugary, and didn’t seem to use many(if any) natural ingredient.

Horrible horrible service. If can give their service a letter grade it would be an F. Waited long enough until my bf was about to grab a menu for himself and one of the ladys there saw so went for them as well and finally handed both us one. Then we had to bug them to get our order after we were done deciding. As for the food this was my first time trying phở. I ordered chicken flavored phở and I didn’t like it. Both my bf and I didn’t enjoy it. I’m still willing to give other places a try since my bf has tried another spot and swore the first phở he tried it elsewhere it was better tasting. As far as cleanliness I would give it a B-. And for food a D– for my liking only bcus the siracha sauce was around to help with the taste of what I tried.

Ewww dont waist your money here. I used to love phở here couple years ago but these days No!!! Taste is worse than ever but the serious problem comes with their service. A lady who appeared to be an owner was yelling at the servers the whole time i was there. I dont know what was wrong but if you have a problem with your servers fix it when customers are not there. I felt very uncomfortable.

I wish I could give ZERO star if I could. I usually don’t write reviews but I had to. Service sucked ass, I saw roach crawling in the corner… By the time I already ordered so I left it like that but food wasn’t all that and I am a big fan of Vietnamese food but this was the WORST place to go for viet food. On top of that I was eating and this one lady looks like an owner or something was standing outside telling people walking by to come in to her restaurant unprofessionally. I work with business too but that was very unacceptable thing to do. !!! NEVERAGAIN. I am very upset that I spent my money here.

This is my second time coming to this place, first time I ordered to go and I really enjoyed it. I decided to give this place a visit again like around 9pm. This evening my experience was not so satisfying as the time I ordered to go. I took a seat with my son I didn’t get any type of service not even a menu. Well I waited. And waited… And the waitress never even came. Shortly after when I was thinking maybe I need to go order at the register, A man that was all the way at the back arrived at my table and handed me a menu. After a while I went with #4 well I never really got a chance to say if I wanted anything to drink? just heard me say I am going to go with this one and didn’t even ask if I wanted anything else just left in a hurry. My meatball soup finally arrived But this time it was just different and it smelled kinda weird I literarily smelled it like three times before even tasting it I thought that was very weird. Now I did taste it and it didn’t taste good it was really flavorless. I had to go ask the lady for cilantro basil which is so odd because phở always come along with it. I don’t know why it was never brought along but I needed something to catch flavor on this broth I sat in my chair and stared at my plate a couple of times I eventually ended up putting a whole lot of sriracha and hoisin sauce on it I mean a WHOLELOT!!! I didn’t have to eat a spicy dish I wanted some good broth with flavor and well it never came. Now my stomach burns with disappointment and well sriracha hot sauce I guess. But last time I didn’t have any need for any hot sauce idk why this time I received such a bad soup. I even had to get up and ask a lady for a drink because she never did once check up on me I’m very disappointed and thinking to myself why the heck I leave her 15% tip???

Veggie phở has a meat broth. I’ve visited here occasionally for lunch, because it’s near my work, but have found myself regularly disappointed. At first I’d order veggie phở off the menu. The broth was clear, nearly hot water, but forgivable, as it was cooked on the fly. After enough requests, they finally put a veggie phở on the menu. They charged more for veggies than for meat, which seems fair if they have to prepare a second broth just for us. But ever since then, no matter how explicit my order, they’ve ONLY served it with their meat broth. They are now refusing to even serve a hot water ‘broth’. I’ve had to return three bowls of phở over four visits. What sort of management wants to serve vegetarians meat and charge us extra? It’s disrespectful and sort of cruel. One bonus star because the replacement meal is serviceable.

This place was my favorite phở place once but i think they changed the ownership or the chef. The quality of food drastically went down to the point that you can’t finish your entire meal cause phở is kinda gross. It is a shame that i lost my favorite phở place.

We were looking for a place, where we could eat late. Do not expect this place to be fancy, expect good food. Nice service and the most important quick service. Literally quick! It seems all ingredients were fresh! We will come back!

I’ve been there two or three times and tried the soup only once, it was good and they give good portions. I’m the type that wants to try the rest of the menu not what you specialize in cuz we know that’s easy. They have rice plates with seafood or meats, I thought the seafood fried rice was ok only, served in a bowl with shrimp scallops and squid. I have it when any place you go to thinks it’s cool to serve shrimp with any part still unpeeled, I can do that at home better. They have side dishes that I don’t remember their names but try them any of them so good and good price too. I’ll return, but not running.

Disclaimer: I have not gone to this establishment, this rating is solely based upon a rude phone call. My sister has a lot of allergies, so I called this restaurant to ask whether or not they had vegetarian broth for phở. They did not take very long to answer the phone, but the conversation was cut very short. I asked if they had vegetarian broth & she simply replied«no». Then I was in the midst of asking if they had seafood broth, but I was interrupted with«No vegetables» & hung up on. So, I will definitely not be coming here to even try it out. I’ve read previous reviews, but I definitely would not agree that they«accommodate to customers’ needs.» I’m sure they have edible phở, but if you’re looking for a place with variety this is not the place to go.

I don’t know why people are hating on this establishment. The service is very friendly and they accommodate to customers needs. I was looking to get some egg rolls and vermicelli tonight and I decided to stop in. I love egg rolls and this place has some nice crunchy and tasteful egg rolls. The fish sauce that accompanies them is on point… unlike other phở places where the sauce is too salty. I also ordered the pork vermicelli. They use fresh ingredients and it tasted delicious!!! I will definitely be coming back to try out some of the other items off their extensive menu. It’s a plus that they are open very late. I’ll keep it in mind on one of those late nights when I get the munchies. Great job Phở 21!!!

Next Time I’ll Pack A Large Phở Bowl For My Take-Out! SITREP I love it when traveling to SoCal for work assignments. I get a chance to check out amazing stuff when on the road. Today’s treat was hitting Phở 21 again just across the street from the Garden Suites Inn & Resort where I’m staying at this week, and to be honest, Phở 21 fires on all pistons and is a delight culinary treat. THESETUP This last time I ordered the SUPERBOWL($ 10.59) because I couldn’t make up my mind whether to get the Phở Seafood Combo($ 9.59) or the Phở Die Bief($ 7.99). So why not both together? :D So I brought my take-out order back to the hotel and was presented with my first dilemma — the broth container was not big enough to put all the ingredients in together: So the second dilemma was to select items in such a way to put into the Phở-broth container so that I could eat it in stages. My solution: (1) Steam the meats first — the fish, the shrimp, the steak, etc.; and then, (2) Add the noodles — and eat down some of the delicious noodles & meats; and then, (3) Steam the veggies next and enjoy. THELOWDOWN Some great Phở! But if you’re in a hotel without a large Phở bowl, bet to eat your Phở at the restaurant. :)

I don’t know why people dislike this place so much. I always left happy and very full! This is my second time coming here and I love it! I always come after drinking so maybe that’s why I like it so much. One thing I love is that they are very generous with their noodles. It’s like it never ends. Second thing is that I love their broth. It’s not too salty and not too watery. One thing they are lacking are the veggies. I mean no basils? Thats my favorite things to put into my soup. On the plus side, they are open late!

Parking: It’s a small lot of what seems to be 10 parking spaces shared by 3 or 4 businesses… Super inconvenient when starving. :[ BUT people are usually in and out so it’s up to your luck. They use no MSG in their broth. Major thumbs up to that. However, it tastes like crack soup(in a good way). It’s JUSTASBOMB as the other phở places in the area, if not, even better. I don’t know what their secret is — but my BF agrees too. Use the brown sauce accordingly. That is what will mess you up and feelin lazy after. I always end up eating WAY to much whenever I eat here… Service is pretty slow — I won’t lie… It’s usually just one lady but she’s not THAT bad for being the only server/cashier. I usually go Friday nights so not sure if weeknights are like this. The only other thing I wasn’t a fan of was the eggrolls but the BF seemed to like it. Love the fact that they open later than other places. I know there are some 24 hour phở spots in town but I’ve tried them all. & I did not like. This is my fave late night phở place in town.

Customer Service: B Cleanliness: B– Quality of Food: B+ Decent sized and quality of Phở. less usage of MSG! The bowl of phở is definitely decent quality! The price was a bit pricier than other locations, but what can you expect from Los Angeles! Customer Service was A-okay, for only one Korean lady server who’s serving, cashiering, and cleaning I think she did a decent job. Sometimes when you’re here just get your own menu and order! $ 10 min purchasing through credit card!
