Had a delightful breakfast/lunch a couple of Saturdays ago. The breakfast burrito with Mexican sausage was very tasty and hot temperature-wise. The staff treated us well and also was very attentive to our needs. We arrived pretty late in the morning so we didn’t sample any breads, but they looked good. Next time we will try them. We parked at the meter on Washington, but discovered that there is parking available behind the restaurant. Oh it is CASHONLY!

This bakery is Oaxacan so the bread is not as sweet as Mexican bakeries. I prefer this place over any Mexican bakery just because it’s not overly sweet. The staff is friendly and the chicken torta is to die for! It’s not just a bakery it’s also a restaurant so make sure to check out their menu!

We just moved to the Palms area so we’ve been on the lookout for places with good affordable food that remiss us of home. So naturally when we saw this panaderia we stopped by and I’m so glad we did! The breads are all delicious(although my fave is their conchas). They’re not that super sweet sugar packed pan dulce that u get at grocery stores and it has a mom and pop shop fell and taste in a good way. Will definitely keep coming back here!

I work down the street from Nancy’s and I like to stop by every now and then for a concha and coffee. I feel as though it’s very hit and miss though. Sometimes the pastries are fresh and soft, other times they feel and taste a little stale, maybe day-old? They only take cash, which can be a bummer when you have none. But the prices are good, and the pastries aren’t bad. They also have food like burritos, tacos, and nachos. They’re ok, but I go there just for the sweets.

Nancy’s Bakery is a cute little shop located on Washington in Culver City. It’s a Mexican run bakery that has soe lovely breads, pateries, breakfast items, smoothies /shakes, colored jellos and a whole lot of other fun things to eat. I ordered the mini fruit tarts($ 2.50 ea), which was a thick crust topped with rich custard, and fresh blueberries /strawberries /kiwis. Nice. The dessert was a bit on the dense side, but was pretty tasty and fun to eat! Next time, I want to come back here to try the fruit shakes — mango, pineapple, strawberry, etc. YUM!

this humble mexican bakery is within walking distance from the rumor mill coffee shop on washington. i brought home a bunch of pastries from here for the week, and they are all under $ 1! all are yummy, and it’s hard to say what they are when i don;t know the names of these yummy pastries, but i can tell you that there are so many kinds you can take home and try. i will be honest though– they were a bit dry, and the bakery of el sazon oaxaqueno on washington and grandview was way fresher and more moist. i think they specialize in customized cakes though. it would be nice to try their cakes or flan next time.
