This is where the fresh fish is at, they can also fry your fish on your request. My favorite service at this seafood market is that they really know how to clean your fish, gills, fins, tail off if that is how you like your fish. You really get what you pay for and it’s worth every penny. Happy sailing!

This is a classic Pilipino market with a Happy Hour discount on takeout container(not combos – containers) from their point-point side of the store. The market itself has all of the usual suspects at a decent price, but really, I come here for the deli/point-point/turo-turo . First thing, pull a number from the dispenser. Don’t stand there like a dope waiting to be served. It aint’ gonna happen unless you have a number. Got it? Next, push past the waiting people and eye f*ck the hell out of the food. If you’ve never had Pilipino food, well, you won’t know what you’re looking at and you’ll probably need a Cultural Translator to help out. If you pay for my food, I’ll gladly lend my expert services. Finally, take your food home and eat it. No, this is not a restaurant. To Go only. If you tell the person behind the counter«To Go,» they’ll give you a blank look that reads: «You are an idiot. Ok lang. Enjoy!» I think I’ll leave this here.

I drove 30 minutes after I called to confirm that they carried cuttlefish in their seafood dept. Upon arrival and after asking for the cuttlefish, I was directed towards the«Catfish«. Cuttlefish and Catfish? Hello. It was apparent that their english is very limited. I was there pronouncing Cuttlefish for 10 min and they kept directing me towards different seafood. What a waste of time. They never even accepted responsability.

This place is great for really nice fresh fish and lots of authentic groceries. I took the advice of an earlier reviewer and had then fry up some tilapia. It was awesome. But they have many many more varieties of fish. And they all looked fresh(the eyes were clear) — also, no smell. Everyone in the store was friendly and helpful. Try it out!

This place is pure EVIL!!! hahahaha I think the only people in the World that can stand Asian Grocery Markets are Asians, and HipKats that just moved into that neighborhood and explore mom and pops spots. Say things like, «Ive never seen this product before» to 80% of the products in there!!! lol jk but yeah, i came here the other day and picked up a couple of Tilapia. They were on the big side so it totalled are $ 6.50. When i picked them and the Seafood Deli guy was to bag them he asked, «Would you like to fry them?» and I said, «Thats exactly how im gonna cook’em» He then gives the fish to another guy and starts cleaning it, then guts it, then adds salt and throws them in the fryer. I was like, «WHOOOOA… youre gonna fry them?» and they did, at no extra charge. This place is great because they have a selection of hot foods available near check out, and all the Filipino Products i grew up on and love. Do you mess with Patis, Toyo, Bagoong, Sardinas, Suka at Mang-ga. No. didnt think so!!! JK

Wow. Talk about a vintage Asian fresh seafood market! Place is a hole in the wall, but inside you will find Asian products, chinese/korean food, and the best fresh seafood I’ve tried in LA. They have a huge selection of fresh fish. I’m talking about whole fish, with the scales, fins and everything. But once you choose the one you want, their expert butchers will clean out and cut the fish to your liking. If this place were closer to my home, I would certainly be a regular given what a seafood fan I am. Give it a shot.
