Dr. Salao’s Dental Studio

I can’t rate their dentistry. Instead I have a hospitality story. That rare, embarrassing circumstance: I was at the end of an hour-​long drive home and needed to use the restroom so badly that it was an emergency. Like «do or die», must happen NOW. I pulled into this small shopping center, and despite being well dressed and groomed with a pleasant, professional demeanor, I was turned away one by one, by each shop in the center. Finally, when I knew that I could not wait another minute longer, I stopped into this dentist office and outright pleaded to use their restroom quickly, cleanly and quietly. I was turned away, despite my obvious distress and pleading. I realize, they are not in business to be a public restroom. But sometimes there are those little human moments where it would cost you absolutely nothing to help someone out, and you can decide whether you will or won’t. This office decided they wouldn’t.

They welcome you very well. They do a great job.

I’ve been going to Dr. Salao for YEARS and never thought of reviewing her. As someone who used to be petrified by the dentist, I can tell you the whole staff makes you feel comfortable and at ease. They explain your options and make suggestions, explaining the pros and cons. They know me by name and honestly feel a little like family. Since it is only one dentist, there may be a wait sometimes. But it’s worth it!

Friendly, calm environment with modern equipment for your dental needs. Dr. Salao goes about the task very gently you might fall asleep. She’s also very thorough inspecting not just gums and teeth but your mouth and tongue.
