Food tasted great. I had a asada gordita and a pupusa revuelta. Both had great flavor. The waiter even thru in a free pancake for my son

Standard Mexican breakfast. Fast delivery and nice staff. It can be a bit bland but I like it that way. I like that they add avocado to their salads.

They over charge you and the food isn’t even worth it! I paid $ 1.00 for extra avocado on the side. They literally only gave me one slice. The salsa was good. Honestly, that’s the only positive thing I had to say about the food. There are better restaurants that charge the same amount and the quality of the food is better! The food came cold, too!

Came to try this place with my father since he loves his mexican food. First of all its like 95 degrees outside and this place did not have A/C so you can imagine how hot it was in that small place. I ordered lengua and it was not the best. The salsa verde was bitter and not tasty. I will definitely not be coming here. I would not recommend this place at all.

Got my whole order right, came in 30mins BUT my nachos were soggy & the food was just not that tasty! The tacos come with onions which i didnt want, doesnt say anywhere that they do. Good try but lesson learned wont be ordering here again.

Ordered a Huarache, it was puny and if it hadn’t been for the cream, pretty flavorless too. Chicken tacos with hard shell not good either. It wasn’t terrible but I wouldn’t come back.

I love this restaurant. The chilaquiles breakfast was excellent. The coffee, too. A friendly and wonderful place

Everything I’ve ever ordered is tasty. The torta is excellent, and the pupusas as well. The flan(which they gave us once because delivery took extra long) was not that great, but it’s not something I’d order anyway. I’ve only ever had delivery, so can’t comment on atmosphere/cleanliness, but the delivery guys are always friendly. Great Sunday delivery treat.

Great food and friendly service!!! I’ve been here twice for breakfast, and their chilaquiles and huevos rancheros taste like homemade with fresh ingredients that leave you filled but not overly full. Their coffee is brewed with just a hint of cinnamon and is rich and smooth. And their prices are very reasonable. Eddie and Javie have done a wonderful job creating a nice, neighborhood restaurant where everyone can feel at home!!!

I was craving Mexican food so randomly picked a place off of Grub Hub to deliver on an early Saturday afternoon. Mi Tierra looked good so gave it a try. Put in my order at 11:25. I ordered 3 chicken enchilada plates, 3 chicken tacos, 3 carne asada tacos and a chicken quesadilla plate. Got a confirmation from the restaurant that the food would be to me between 12:15 — 12:25. Perfect. Got a call from the restaurant at 12:22 asking me whether I wanted soft or hard shell tacos. Ummmm shouldn’t my order be here by now, not just being put in the kitchen?! Got a call from the driver at 1:10 that he was downstairs. Go down– no one there! Call him to find out where he is– he says he’s in the lobby. I’m in the lobby and there’s no one but me there. Are you sure you’re at the right address? Yes, yes– he’s sure. He’s standing by the fountain. The fountain?! That’s the building across the street. Completely wrong address. Smh 10 minutes later he finally get the address right and I get my food. Of course it’s completely cold. Warm it up, starving by now, and am completely disappointed. The enchiladas were gross. Even the rice and beans were tasteless. The tacos were a glob of tortilla and cheese with some tasteless meat in there. And the chicken quesadilla was a paper-thin joke. The pico de gallo was the best thing going but even loading everything up with it didn’t help. Ended up taking a few bites of everything and just throwing it all away. Complete waste of $ 66. My search for good Mexican food in DTLA continues…

Found this restaurant while waiting for another business to open, ordered a torta de carne asada it was delicious, fresh and had that authentic taste. My hubby ordered the carne asada wet burrito to our surprise it wasn’t smothered in enchilada sauce it was actually salsa! Hubby loved the tomatillo sauce, meat was well seasoned!

Everything you expect from your neighborhood Mexican restaurant. Really clean tasting. Not greasy. A little pricey but they deliver so that cancels out that negative. Had the flautas, tacos dorados, nachos, burritos … Everything is consistently delicious. The new ownership knows what they are doing and I hope they keep it up.

Hell. No. — NOCHEESE, FORGOTTODELIVERHALFTHEORDER, FOODWASCOLD, HELLABLAND, and the flan had SPOILEDBEFORETHEYSERVEDITTOUS. I live within walking distance of this place and was excited to see they deliver. Despite my delivery instructions that the lobby was open and my apt was right next to it the driver still called me twice to ask where to go when he’s in the lobby. My friends and I ended up with enchiladas, tacos, burritos and nachos. None of which had any cheese. The tacos literally had a tiny portion of meat with a HELPING of cilantro and onions on top(which is great, because I asked for no cilantro as I’m allergic when it’s in it’s raw form.) The sauce on the enchiladas was definitely CANNED and OLD. It was the wrong color. But even if it wasn’t it was bad for what it was. The rice was cold and not fluffy. Lacking all flavor. Same for guacamole. Who puts PEAS in their guacamole??? They also forgot to bring our paid for sides of sour cream and our sodas. I was hoping for a deliciously spicy new place around the corner. But I guess I’ll keep hoping. Like I’m half midwestern white american and I’m telling you this is not anywhere near spicy enough. Get your shit together

Small place but very good food and service. The new owners are a delight. The place is very clean and the food selection is wonderful. I had the ‘caldo de res’ beef soup and tasted just like how my mother makes it. The veggies were fresh and the meat was tender. The owner brought us a sample of freshly made yucca beignets drizzled with Lechera(sweet condensed milk) sooooo good! I don’t think they make em everyday though. Definitely will return.

There’s not many Ma and Pa joints in LHTS but this place is just right! I had breakfast there & the food was fantastic. Good service, family oriented & excellent food. Did I mention the food is great? It’s right on Daly & Broadway, the parking may not be ideal but the bus leaves you right in front of the place!
