Stopped by on my way back west from downtown for pupusas. Had the chicken and cheese with slaw and plantains. Friendly fast service, delicious fresh food. The chicle and the cheese were both great quality. And best of all, lunch for two — pupusas, rice and beans, and plantains — was $ 13!

I give this place 5 stars because i have been here five times the food is 100% good and always will be :)and in those five times i never had to wait more than 10mins for my drinks to arrive the customers service is good but their is this man who is handles the cashier he doesnt take order but i believe if the waitress is busy handling orders, and delivering food and getting food the cashier kid should help out at least today sep 3,2015 on thursday at 8:20pm i notice he wouldn’t even help the waitress bring drinks he simply ignored and was just sitting on the chair im not here to give a bad remark about this place but i was recommended here from anaheim but i dislike and think its very rude and dishonest for the man who works in the cashiers for not to help the waitress specially when its busy and she has 10tables to attend overall this place food is fantastic i hope the manager speaks to kid cashier about his job and encourage him to help others if its super busy i spoke to the waitress shes blond hair average size speak fluently spanish and she tolled me the cashier man does not listen she apologized for the wait just the owner of this place please be concern and talk to the cashier kid thanks

Si quieres saborear rica comida Salvadoreña y antojitos que tu ni si quiera te los imaginas que los puedes probar aquí en EU. Te invito a que vengas a comprobarlo por ti mismo. Invita a tus familiares y amigos.

I ordered plátanos fritos plate to go which includes a fairly good amount of refried beans and salvadorean cream… they were done in less then 10 minutos… The platanos were ripe just the way I like them… the staff seemed nice… will definitely go back to try something else!

The pupusas are good and not too greasy like in other pupuserias. In an area where parking is scarce they have a parking lot behind the building which makes the place convenient.

My family and I are regulars here. The food is amazing and the service is spectacular. Yes, you have to wait some time to get your food but that’s because it’s fresh. If you want frozen fast food, well Burger King is across the street so go on over and give them a holla’. Flor is my absolute fave waitress because she’s friendly and attentive – tho’ to be honest all the waitresses are nice too. I would wholeheartedly recommend this place any day!!!

I’m Nigerian. Not quite the same as central American however, I love coming to this place. The service is lovely! The tv’s are always playing soccer which I love!!!. and the food, oh the food… is amazing!!! I love their Pupusas. Since I had their Pupusas, I’ve not been to any other pupuseria. ANNNNDD, their number is on my speed dial! I brought my gf here, my sister, my mom… they probably think I’m some kind of womanizer lol. Love you guys and see you soon!!! #TakeMyMoney!!! :)

Great quality Salvadoran food! But the wait blows! wrote this review as I waited for my order. They recommended I call in my order and I did… I get here and they are still working in it… wtf…i’m 30 minutes late for what these pupusas were for. next time I will lie about my pickup and get my order on time.

DONOTCOMEHERE! No kidding! The food is so so but the service is the worst of all! That waitress wearing purple and black clothes shouldn’t even work as waitress like seriously! They take forever to serve your food! Just bad bad bad service!

Saw this restaurant in my new neighborhood and took a friend to dinner there. An appetizer, pork dish, soup, drinks & tip came to $ 30, and I took food home. The waitress didn’t speak English, but she would get someone who did when she didn’t understand our questions. The other reviews mentioned poor service during lunch hours, but I found it to be a lovely dinner spot. No loud music, good service, delicious food, plus convenient parking in lot. I’m sure I’ll be back. I wanted to take a «to go» menu with me, and they didn’t have one, but said they would be getting one soon.

Just bumped into this place while hungry and in the neighborhood. It is pretty simple, and yes, the jukebox is loud, and there are single men who seem to go there to eat, drink and watch the soccer game. Who cares? The service was a bit slow, and no one seems to speak much if any English. None of this mattered! I ordered a snack of two chicken tacos, having no idea what I’d get. While waiting for my tacos i tasted the salsa, and although the chips were cheap white ones that were hardly worth eating, wow! the salsa was absolutely dynamite. Smoky, and not too spicy but made using fresh ingredients by someone who is a master salsa maker. When I bit into my first taco I was consumed with pleasure and continued to nimble slowly in order to savor the fresh and complex flavors. My dish delightfully was garnished with two fresh sprigs of watercress. Freshness seems to one of the most important aspects of the dishes prepared here. My dining partner had two tamales which were also dynamite! The flavors are not what you’d expect to get. I live on the west side and something like this would have cost about four times as much as we paid. For two horchatas, two tamales and two chicken tacos we paid a total of $ 13.

I’ve been going to this place for years! They make some of the best pupusas in LA! I’m Salvadoran and I’ve had pupusas in El Salvador many times so trust me when I tell you, they have great food! It seems more like a guys hangout spot than a family restaurant so I go there with my buddies or with a group of friends. It’s not a date spot. It’s not fancy. It’s just really good food. It’s also a great place to catch a good soccer game! They serve beer but you can also go to their sports bar that’s right next door! Check it out and you won’t regret it!

I work next door to this spot, and I went her on a lunch break with some co-workers for the first time. BIGMISTAKE(they could take the award for slowest restaurant in LA from Simply Slowsome but it would be a close one). They make a-MAZING pupusas. You may only find a better one in El Salvador. Problem is, I think they go to El Salvador to get them. I know this is so cliché American, to criticize a restaurant for not being“fast” enough; and for that I apologize. But I honestly think 45 minutes for Pupusas during the lunch hour, is a little much. Just a bit. Again, this didn’t take away from the yummy-factor of the food. It just made me late for my professional development. Which I guess actually was a treat… Inexpensive. They even have the bottle sodas! Wait staff doesn’t speak English, so be patient!
