It’s a mcdonald people! Expect food and service of average-below average and you wont be disappointed. I always get the cheapest value menu items. I have no idea why someone would spend 6 – 8 dollars on a mcburger meal when you can get the same bad calories/quality food for 2 – 3 dollars from the cheap menu. :D. They are running the 2 for 2 promotion now, i’m mcluvin it for now

Eating at McDonalds simultaneously causes joy and disgust. Is it an indulgence or a cop out? Why do I go in moments of weakness? Because it is easy and/or the only place open? Or because I crave something that tastes the same as it did when I was three years old? Unlike CPK, which is also open at night near my office building, it does not taste disappointingly like work. Why are their fries so good? I sometimes go on off hours and they are stale and not good — yet still good. I have a strange addiction to those tiny breakfast burritos and the almost spicy salsa that comes with it. And now I can get it after breakfast time! Sometimes a dipped cone is needed. But I am often eating low carb, and they are very nice about making burgers into lettuce wraps. I like the manager of this place too.

Where do you go when you have a craving for a sundae or a mcflurry? Not here since they are always«out of ice cream»… That or they decided to shut the machine down early because they are too lazy to use it. Sucks that this is the closet McDonalds to where I live but I guess I’ll have to go else where for ice cream. Avoid this place

What the heck is going on with the management or lack of management at this McDonalds. Three times since the hot weather began they not had soft serve ice cream available, blaming the machine or the lack of ingredients. The people behind the counter ignore customers when they walk up to the counter and continue their conversations in various corners of the behind the counter area. Today at 3:00 they were out of Coke, Dr. Pepper and soft serve ice cream. Is this McDonalds or some little hamburger stand somewhere. This is downtown LA — Bunker Hill with hundreds of offices in the surrounding buildings. Someone needs to wake up and smell the French Fries!

*** Pit stop review(Downtown LA)*** This is a pretty straight forward typical Micky D’s in the heart of downtown LA inside of the atrium of the Wellsfargo building. If you’re here it’s probably for business so you’ll have a few choices that are within walking distance. Driving around downtown LA is no fun during business hours. So Mickey D’s is a choice for either breakfast or lunch. I just made a pit stop for a quick breakfast before starting the day. Food = average(as expected) Seating area = two tables outside the front entrance. Service = ok Restroom = none(located outside somewhere)

Somebody needs to contact McDonald’s corporate office and have this place shut down. The food is here is horrible and that’s because the employees don’t give a damn! Service is slow and customers are treated as if they’re a nuisance these people have no business working in a customer service oriented business. And these are the same folks demanding that they get paid $ 15 an hour — what a joke!

Worst service and food ever. I spent 20 dollars on fast food and threw everything away. The fries were not fresh and had too much salt. I ordered 3 large fry’s and they filled it halfway on all of them. Ordered 2 big macs and the meat was really dry and the bread was stale. The lady gave me two ketchup packets. Horrible, do not come here.

The«manager» Andrew here makes coming here a nightmare. He has the worst attitude I have ever experienced and makes you feel absolutely stupid for daring to disturb him by giving him your business. He is unhelpful, rude, curt, and downright terrible. I seriously cannot believe this guy is a manager. They must not have been able to fill the night shift.

I am sorry but this is not the first time this has happened, I went back a second time). The cooks there do not make the food Good. I am going to post a picture if I can. Never again, is all I have to say. too bad because the premium wraps are good… just depends on if they take the time to make it right.

The world’s most dangerous McDonald’s(to me), because I work across the street and when am I not craving a McDonald’s breakfast? Never. Something about a crappy work day looming ahead of you makes a sausage and egg mcmuffin the perfect remedy.

BEST Sausage Egg McMuffin I’ve had was made here. I’m not sure why this place is so much better at making them, but every single time I get the Sausage Egg McMuffin here, they cook the egg PERFECTLY. It’s not that dry/flakey egg yolk that you usually get at the other McDonalds(which you usually just expect). It’s the perfect«gel-like» state where it’s so soft and yummy! Besides that, the service is great and the people there are really nice. I usually go when it’s not too crowded, so I’m not exactly sure how is it when it gets crazy. :)

This McDonald’s is located in an office park, the Wells Fargo Center. Hard to find if you don’t know where to look. Also, closed on the weekends(as are a lot of places in the business district downtown).

Well, again, this is typical fast food. It is clean, service was polite, no line when I went(although I went at an off-time). No seating inside, but there is plenty of seating outside(lots of little tables). The food was as expected, on the better end for McDonald’s(is that possible?). Lot’s of special sauce on my Big Mac is I think what I noticed most(that was a good thing). Of course, I felt horrible(per the usual) about an hour or two after eating as my body went into shock from this nutritionally deficient meal, but I’m sure I’ll be back in a few more months.

***Downtown LA does not have many quick spots to get ice cream or frozen yogurt, which increases the value of this McDonald’s; and even though it is located in the Wells Fargo Center, the prices are pretty reasonable here*** While there are a lot of frozen yogurt spots in Little Tokyo, there are not many ice cream or frozen yogurt spots near the skyscrapers in Downtown Los Angeles. I imagine that is because ice cream and frozen yogurt is looked at as more of a weekend thing and this area of Downtown LA is very dead during the weekend when offices are closed. I, like some of the Downtown LA office workers, stopped here for ice cream after lunch. I went with their soft serve cone and it was pretty good. While it was lacking in a distinct flavor like a Foster’s Freeze, it was creamy, smooth and refreshing. They were also generous with the portion size. Prices were okay. I think it might have been a $ 1 or so. I think the prices here were a little higher than most McDonald’s, but it was located in an office building(Wells Fargo Center). With these locations(which I would equate to airport locations), I would actually expect the prices to be much higher than most McDonald’s. Service was just okay. The manager/assistant manager seemed like he had his fair share of not-so-nice or distracted customers. As he called out when orders were ready, there seemed to be a noticeable tone in his voice that he was getting impatient and was eager to get the food out and get the customers along their way. While I did not think the soft serve cone at McDonald’s was anything special, it was definitely a satisfying treat on a hot day in Downtown LA(especially since ice cream and frozen yogurt is hard to find in this area). Parking around here is very expensive so this McDonald’s is only worth visiting if you work in this area and can walk to it. I am pretty sure like other businesses around here that this McDonald’s closes on the weekend.

SLOOOOOOOOW! As in really really slow. I could not believe my eyes and ears when waiting to order at this branch inside the Paul Hastings building. The cashiers talk to each other and totaaly disregard the fact that there is a long line in front of them. They don’t seem to xare about their customers because even the manager, one with a different colored shirt also is guilty of this. They also chat with fellow co-workers who are off the clock and cater to their needs more than to the paying customers. NEVERAGAIN will I go to this branch even if it is inside my buidling. I actually walk two blocks, up a hill and long stairs just to go to another branch. YOU’REFIRED!

Five filet-o-fish’s at $ 1.29 each and a small fries = $ 8 = dinner for two on a Lenten Friday at 9pm. McD really comes through. I have to point out something funny about the filet-o-fish here: you know the economy is bad when they have to cut corners on *American* cheese. And it doesn’t get any cheaper than a slice of American. For the rest of the pics, click here:

Ok, I haven’t had a burning desire to black-list a place AND use the word ignoramus for a very long time. Leave it to good ol’ McDees to bring back both from semi-retirement. This gluttonous quick stop lives off the poor suits who don’t have time to leave their office for a decent meal. So I can understand why the customer service would be a little lacking due to its busy nature. That’s why I’ve sworn it off during the 11:30AM — 1:30PM lunch rush hours. But just now… 2:30PM. When there was only a single person standing around to get his order, I decided to give it one more try. The ginormous iced coffee ad lured me in for a drink. I stood there in front of the counter waiting to be greeted. And I stood there. Watched all SEVEN uniformed McDee trained employees do various things as making sure they had enough cups, keep a tally of the lunch receipts, restock the condiments, throwing more fries in the fryer, view the order monitors, clean the counter. And I stood there. Three of them actually made eye contact with me. One suddenly ducked behind the food warmers. The other two looked at the other busy bodies and looked away. And I stood there. Two more goons passed right by me. Another customer entered. And we stood there. I even held the two dollars in my hand to show I was a paying customer instead a hobo off the streets. I thought to myself, «They DON“T have a drive thru.» Made eye contact with the cup counter, she checked if anyone was working the register and she looked away. I had enough. I walked away and whispered, «These ignorant XXXXXX don’t know they’re working at a FAST food place».
