Food was horrible. I’m still chewing the piece of chicken I started an hour ago! J/k on that last part, but the meat quality is highly questionable. I spit out every third bite because the were unchewable. The meat was DRY too. To top it off, they have a minimum $ 10 order for credit card purchases and the Bonaventure is very depressing.

This place is situated on the fourth floor of the Westin Bonaventure Hotel. It’s clean and their service was really nice! The price is reasonable for the amount of food you get-at least for the half and half combo(that’s what I got during this visit).

K’Grill is located on the 5th floor(maybe 4th?) of the Westine Bonaventure hotel. That place is like a maze, but walk around enough and you’ll eventually find it! There aren’t many korean joints in the area, if at all, so I was sooo excited to try K’Grill when I first heard of it. The dishes here are very fairly priced considering it’s in downtown and located in the hotel. The portion sizes are generous and the workers are kind, humble people. I just wish there was more taste to their dishes! I thought the bibimpap could use more meat, less vegetables. The miso soup was lukewarm and I wasn’t a fan of the potato side dish– I think they had a few things in it, but you really don’t need to make a side dish so complex. just potato is enough. Regardless, I’d come back and try other dishes /side dishes.

I am hooked! Been here twice and I love the food. Tried the Japchae with tofu, very yummy. Also tried the Bibimpap, very good too. My Korean friend said the food is like homemade and very authentic. I am so happy this place is close to my work.

K’Grill has a really good combination of things to eat for a good price :) Some of their food was a little too salty for my taste and it isn’t the best korean food I’ve tried but then again I live in LA and the competition for that is quite high. I got the half half order with chicken bbq, jap chae and my 2 sides were glazed potato and kimchi. Staff is super friendly and service is very quick which makes it a nice place to go for lunch break in the middle of downtown when you don’t have much time to spare. I’ve only gone once so far so I will update if I go back again!
