As far as hotel lobby bars, this one is ok. There are plenty of separate sitting areas with nice comfy couches or lounge chairs. Two wide screen TVs on either end of the bar. The food is a bit pricy though. Being in west LA, I suppose that’s expected. The service itself was a bit slow. It looks like there are quite a few waitresses around, but they don’t circulate too often to check on things. Waited till most of our food was eaten before water came. We asked for it soon after the food arrived. They offer you some warm spicy pistachios with your food or drinks. Be careful with these as the spice sneaks up on you. We ordered the«everything» pizza and an Asian chicken salad. The pizza is a nice 10″ or so with black olives, pepperoni, ham, artichoke hearts and bell peppers. Also had fresh tomatoes on it, but I wasn’t sure if those were in the sauce or separate. Nice crunchy crust on the bottom. The salad was loaded with goodies. Possibly enough for two. Overall experience was good. If the service was a bit quicker, I’d boost it up a star.
