I’ve been here several times(I really don’t know why), and I’ll never go again. I was craving Mediterranean food, and this was my only option. The portions are meager, the quality of the food(in particular, the chicken shwarma) is poor, and the prices are high. I’m done with this place.

This place ruined my Friday. I was hoping to enjoy a taste of the Middle East by ordering hummus and beef shawerma. It took nearly 15 minutes for my food and the taste was horrible. This place does not serve shawerma, they serve carne asada that they call«beef shawerma.» I should’ve known the taste wasn’t going to be authentic because the cooks were Latinos. The carne asada has no flavor and is full of fat and thick cartilage. The hummus had zero flavor. It wasn’t creamy at all. I’ve had hummus all over the world in Greek and Middle Eastern restaurants and this was the worst hummus I’ve ever tried. Please keep away from this place, it’s awful.

Other reviewers say the meat is over-seasoned; might be, but I tend to like a lot of seasoning. So yeah, the meat is tasty, but typically overdone. Biggest complaint, however, is the small portion for the $ 12 price. I can get way more barbecued meat for $ 8 at the Rice Garden 50 feet away. I’ve been here maybe half a dozen times and every time kick myself for not researching a kebab alternative. Not going back until they either up the portion size or lower the price.

Beef shwarma sandwich for under $ 7. And it’s so tasty, too. Service is quick, sandwich is wrapped nicely to go. The shwarma plate is tasty, too, but for my part I’d go with the sandwich as it’s a better deal. Located underground in the 505 Flower food court, behind Lemonade.

Definitely not my best Mediterranean experience. I come here during work, been here twice, both times there is long lines(expected), average service, long wait for food(although food seems fresh and why the wait is so long), but the food itself is not as tasty as other locations. I usually get the half chicken which is good, but dry in some parts and lots of skin on it. Their hummus is the liquid-est I have ever experienced, I prefer my hummus to have texture and not be soupy. The side salad is also ok, its a good amount for the price I will say. Definitely a spot that I use as last resort when I am craving something different. I would say stop by and try out the place yourself. They have plenty of interior seating. Just try and avoid the lunch hours because it can get crazy here for sure.

Waited over 20 minutes for a chicken sandwich and got no apology. They forgot the order which I understood with the lunch hour rush. I gently reminded them of the forgotten order, but after another 10 minutes I had to remind them again and only then did they bring my food. And no apology. The food is okay and there aren’t that many Mediterranean options in downtown, but I won’t go back again.

Came here since my friend asked me if I liked some Mediterranean food. Well, kinda wish I hadn’t. Ordered the beef kebab, seemed pretty dry and not very tasty to me. Pretty expensive too for what I got. Considering the plethora of options that are in downtown, there is much much better out there.

Ok. So the food quality is good, its pretty tasty but… how are you giving four little nuggets of chicken when one is ordering a chicken kabob plate? And it seems some people only get three! Verrry stingy on the chicken portion especially given the plate is $ 11-$ 12. Overloading rice and salad doesn’t make up for the weak chicken offering.

Nope, did not like what I ordered. I thought chicken kabob would be meat on a stick but instead they gave me the special which was nothing special about it. Dry over seasoned meat on a pita bread with lettuce, tomato, with some kind of white sauce and some kind of red/pink veggie in it too. The fries were very greasy too. Very disappointed! Will never return.

Simply bad! You’ll find that out after the first bite that freshness is not the«thing» with this establishment.

Worst Mediterranean restaurant ever! I had Chicken Kabab Plate and the chicken pieces, all 3 small pieces are too dry, I felt like I was chewing rubber. The portion is small. The rice pilaf seemed came out of expired generic /store brand rice box. I recommend Panini Grill.

I’ve been here a couple of times, and the food is decently solid(not amazing, but not expected to be) and addresses my Mediterranean food cravings, so it gets 4 stars. The food comes out pretty quickly and will run you about $ 9 for a plate and $ 8 for a salad. There is plenty of space inside to eat your meal.

There are a lot of Mediterranean options in the area, and KC’s is my favorite. The meat is very lean, and the cuts are of a higher quality than most other restaurants.

Quick service but not really good food! I got the grilled chicken salad, chicken itself was good & tasty but the salad had a lot of vinegar & garlic which made me smelly after eating :( Prices are good, just hopefully they gives the option of not adding dressing to salad & keep it on side for customers decisions

Great Lebanese style kabobs in the heart of Downtown L.A. The prices were reasonable and the service was quick and courteous. There’s plenty of seating both inside and outside of there restaurant which comes in handy during the lunch rush. I ordered the beef & chicken combo with all salad instead of rice. I liked them both but I prefer the chicken more. The humus was tangy and had just enough garlic to be enjoyable without lingering all day long. If you have an opportunity to eat here, I’d recommend it.

I’ve been here a couple of times and while the menu items sounds super delicious, of the 3 times I’ve been here, its been a pretty big disappointment for any type of food plate.(I hear the sandwiches are a better deal tho) Prices are higher than average than other places in the food court /surrounding area, and the food quality is well below average. A typical lunch costs around $ 10-$ 15 for food that isn’t even that great. Main issue is that all of the meat is super dry. The 2 items I remember having was a french fry shawarma plate and a chicken curry plate. Fries were pretty soggy and in the curry plate there was literally no sauce. In both cases the meat was extremely dry.

Quick service but food not well prepared! Typically busy during lunch but by no means is it acceptable to serve half cooked rice pilaf. I ordered a beef kebab that came with side salad(barely anything), rice pilaf, hummus and pita. Salad was okay with a watered down vinagrette. Beef kebab a bit overcooked and salty. The rice pilaf wasn’t full cooked and still hard. Rice isn’t that hard to cook! I ate it anyways because I was hangry. The only thing they served right was pita and hummus which was good. With no love in the food, you get no business from me. Not coming back.

Not sure if I want to give it 2.5 stars or 3 stars… This place was just alright. It definitely did NOT satisfy my Mediterranean craving. I got the beef shwarma lunch special which came with rice, salad, and pita(I also took advantage of the check-in special and got a baklava). I did feel that you got a good amount of food for your $(I believe it was around $ 8). The beef shwarma looked like it had a lot of flavoring, but it felt a little dried out and bitter. I had to eat it together with the rice. The rice was good, nothing spectacular. The salad was disappointing as well as the dressing(maybe the spices aren’t for my palate). I did enjoy the pita and hummus. I could eat that hummus by itself! The free baklava was pretty good and I liked the crispy pastry and the pistachio sprinkled on top(and I don’t even like pistachio generally!). The baklava did get a little too sweet for me at the end, but not too the point I couldn’t finish it. Not sure if I’ll come here again, but maybe I will for the baklava and to try something else to give this place another try. Maybe…

Chicken kebab lunch special — tender, grilled chunks of chicken served with rice pilaf, salad, hummus & pita(garlic sauce upon request). Unfortunately, the price has increased twice in the last few years. Used to be $ 6.95, then $ 7.95, now it’s $ 8.95. Still not bad, but I definitely don’t go as often anymore. Aside from frequent price increases, my biggest gripe is their inconsistency. The rice pilaf used to be soooo good. It was a vibrant yellow color and had the most amazing flavor. Then it lost its color and its flavor. Apparently they’re skimping on the seasoning. Rice is still tasty, but it was better before. At least the hummus is still good. I like the green salad too… however, they’ve increased the salad portion and decreased the rice. Raising prices, adjusting portions — cheap cheap cheap. Chicken kebab is $ 8.95, beef kebab is $ 9.95, but the Kebab Combo(1 chicken &1 beef) is $ 13.95! Seriously? a surchage on a simple mix-and-match. Ridiculous. Regardless, the beef lule is not good. Nor is the falafel… mushy and salty. The salmon is even worse(super dry, almost fried-like). Never again. The baklava is really good, but overpriced for a tiny roll.(shocking lol) KC’s is in the Flower underground, behind Lemonade. I call ahead to place my order. The Chicken Kebab lunch special is worth a try, but I’d avoid everything else. If you’re craving kebab, try Kabab & More(free delivery, no minimum order) — really good kebab/kabab/kabob.(is there one correct spelling??)

Thank god I didn’t have cash on me to pay for Saffron, or else I would not have discovered this place. I ordered the pork kebab special. Best decision ever. Portions are more than adequate and food is tasty! I can’t stop dipping everything in the hummus!
