This used to be my favorite Mediterranean restaurant for its quality and low price. However, I called just now for delivery and the attendant was kind of rude and informed me they only do cater now. You can’t even walk in to eat in the restaurant. Well shet

Delicious food and fresh!!! Ordered the mixed shish kebab combo plate. It had fillet mignon, chicken and lule plus rice, salad, hummus, and pita bread. The hummus is the best I’ve ever had, I think it was the owner I spoke with and he said he makes the hummus from scratch. The garbanzo beans are not from the can. My fiancé said he would go there everyday if he could! Try it out and the prices are very reasonable!

I ordered the vegetarian plate. The humus and babaghanoush were really good. It’s not a place for ambiance but the food was really good. Great place to go for a quick lunch.

This Place is great for a good lunch during the work week. Food is Sooo Gooood… my mouth is watering just thinking about it… My family and I enjoy the food so much that we had them cater my kids Birthday party on Saturday. Best thing we ever did. price was great!!! and the food was the talk of the party. We had Chicken, Beef and Beef Lule, Grilled Veggies, Rice, Falafel, Hummus, Babaganosh, Sarma, Fattiush, Kebbeh, Cheese Boregs, Pickles, and so much more can’t even remember all of it… Great deal and good food. We’re having then cater our second party Friday night again. All of our guests were so happy with the food they kept asking for their info. and wanted to take leftovers. Thank you Corner Grill we’ll keep coming back for more and more…

I don’t understand the reviews that give this place more than 2 stars. The food is not good! The chicken lule especially was terrible! I got the combo plate with beef lule(was average), chicken kabob(was ok), Chicken lule(terrible). I’m Lebanese and this is far from being«home made». Also, it took 30 mins to get our food! AND they brought 2 out of 3 dishes incorrectly.

Service was great. Everyone is friendly and willing to give a description of the food. The food was very delicious. The portions were perfect! My family and I left pleasantly stuffed. I ordered the vegetarian combo, which had a little bit of everything. I said mmm for every bite. My niece and sister ordered the chicken kebab plate and they thought it was delicious. The drinks are in the can or bottle, so if you want water, you get the bottled water, unless you ask for tap water. I would have liked fountain drinks, so that free refills can be offered. It is located on the second level in a corner building. Not hard to find. Just walk in the corner building and bam, it’s there. I will be going back!

CLOSEDFORUPGRADES for at least another week. True star rating to follow. Look for the renamed CORNERGRILL. Thanks Unilocalers for the good directions to find it. However, I was still thwarted due to the renovations!

The food was really good, but the ambiance is bleh… borderline ick. They might want to buy some new linens, or wash the existing ones? Cleanliness was not up to par and the service was awkward.

I wish I saw this deal before I went there. The food gets four stars, but the prices get 3 stars. It could be a little bit cheaper. For a lunch for two it cost me $ 46. That’s a little pricey for a lunch in an alleyway in downtown LA. Don’t get me wrong the food was delicious and the service was friendly, it just left a sore spot with me. They have really tasty salad that comes with the plates. I had the beef shish kabob which was really juicy and tasty. The guy also gave us a free plate of hummus, which was nice. Also, the alley isn’t so bad, I’ve always been really intimidated to eat there, but my brother and I decided to go for lunch one day because he was really curious. Glad we went, but not sure that I would go there for lunch again unless they have some kind of special. Maybe take out dinner to go.

Okay, so I’ve been back twice since my initial review and this place gets better every time. This time I tried the falafel which was crispy & yummy and had the combo kebab plate. The chicken was so juicy as was the beef lula and the beef kebab. Everything was so delicious and it wasn’t because I used my Unilocal deal either ;) Seriously, this place has some great food. The service could be better but it’s not the worst I’ve experienced. I’ve brought two friends here and they are so hooked they keep asking when we’re going back so yeah, BOM, you’re the BOMB!

My favorite mediterranean food in LA! The daily specials are awesome for trying new things, but my favorite is the Manti! The Manti is the best dish they serve and I always have a hard time trying other things because it is so good. The service is always great! The food is healthy and fresh!

This place is well hidden in the jewelry district. It is upstairs right on the corner. It is certainly a mom and pop run restaurant that serves authentic Mediterranean food. They have a great lunch combo for $ 8.99 including a sandwich, fries, and drink. They are a bit slow(everything is made to order) and language could be a problem. But in the end, you get what you ordered and it is good. Luckily, this place is not that popular so the line is not too long. The Shawarma sandwich is loaded with meat! Huge chunks of beef! There are a few tables there but the seating area is small and scrunched. All in all, a decent place for a lunch on the go and the pricing is fair.

This place has amazing food!!! The mantee(kind of like meat dumplings) is soooooo good. I’m middle eastern and It’s seriously better than anything my mom or grandma even make. The boreg is really good as well. Along with the hummus. Everything is so good!

On a hot Tuesday afternoon, my co-worker and I power walk to this place because she got a $ 5 for $ 10 Deal on Unilocal!Food is the only thing that will make us get out of the nice cool A/C office… So we had a little trouble finding this place because it is a little hidden. It’s located upstairs in a small plaza in the Jewelry District. There was a man that warmly greeted us and sat us down. We shared a Chicken Kabob(breast) plate that came with Hummus, Salad, and Tabouli. I was happy to find that the chicken breast was really moist and delicious. The salad was fresh and lightly dressed w/a clear sauce. I was also filling up on the Hummus and pita bread… The owner(I am assuming) suggested that we get a yogurt sauce or garlic sauce… so we chose the garlic sauce… It was delicious and I almost wolf down my plate… Overall, I loved the food and the owner seems really down to earth.

BOMISTHEBOMB The chicken breast kebab was juicy like the unheard of los angeles rain lately. Yeah you’re right, that doesn’t make sense and I’m an idiot, but just get it. Checked in today and received 10% off. The manager gave us some menus to bring back to the office and told us 10% off anytime for anyone. Nice guy. A plate order comes with unlimited pita bread and hummus to your blubber’s desire!

So here’s the deal. I order online at 1:15PM for delivery. I’m within their delivery area(check) and they have a $ 10 minimum(check — I ordered $ 19 and change worth of food). I receive a telephone call at 2:00PM — 45 minutes later — stating that they don’t deliver to my address(which is in their delivery area per their own website) for such a small order(even though I hit their own stated minimum order amount). # 1 — will the owner please go on his own website and change your own delivery criteria and # 2 — it took you 45 minutes to figure this out!!! By the way and just in case anyone is curious — I’m 1.07 miles away from this restaurant per mapquest. Morons. This place is a joke. Hey Unilocalers — this part is a follow up to my earlier post. I posted this review and almost immediately I received a call from someone(according to their website it quite possibly might be the owner himself) who stated that«[I] was the moron.» Wow — ladies and gentleman — beware posting anything negative when this guy has your contact info(I ordered online) or he may call and harass you too!!!
