Fairly small shop. They all looked at me when I came in so I thought they were closed. I almost felt like I was intruding! I managed to stutter,“Are you open?” Lol. I ordered a Coconut Boba for $ 4.75 to go. They only have one size – large. Good price for a big-sized drink. I found it reasonable. Boba is soft but the Coconut – did not taste like coconut. It tasted like some kind of milk, almond? Soy? I couldn’t put a finger on it. Definitely a mix. Probably a coconut-flavored one. I’m definitely particular with my bobas and always looking for natural fruit ones so maybe if they add some to their menu, I’ll come back again. For now, highly unlikely.

Looking for a study spot? You got one right here! Better than most libraries :) Coffee and smoothies are pretty good!

love the haus coffee, free Wi-Fi a plus, and interior is pretty good. taro boba, and their fruit smoothies are also good. I recommend anyone looking for a place to drink coffee with friends. If your a non-smoker, avoid sitting outside.

Great place to study! It’s opened late on the weekends so I recommend it for any student that needs to study. There’s plugs, comfy sofas, free wifi and parking! It’s a bit pricey but its a big size cup and its good.

I really appreciated finally getting to Kaffee Haus! The seating is wonderful, service staff is very welcoming, and boba is delicious! I truly recommend any college student to come by and study on Saturday nights. Quiet, right temperature, and overall free parking.

Been going here since I moved to Korea town. I walk there from my apts. Overall it’s a cool little spot to chill, but nothing to brag about. I think they are a little over-priced compared to the Coffee Bean right down the street.

Meh. Prices weren’t that great and neither was the coffee or boba. The surrounding competition is better.

KAFFEEHAUS If you’re looking for very overpriced coffee, lattes, or frappuchinos, this is the place for you! If you’re hungry, leave now! We were in a rush for an appointment, so we opted to go to Kaffee Haus for a quick bite. Literally, it’s quick… we ordered the ramen with egg, ad it turned out to be a packaged ramen that you can buy at the supermarket, mixed with egg, and it was $ 6.99!!! Mind as well buy a whole box of the packaged ramen for that price. The sweet potato latte was good, though, even though it cost $ 5.99, but at least it was something different, tasted great, and was unique. I wish Starbucks made this!

Place looks like the K drama wifi bars. I found that pretty cool. Place is neat and clean. The seating and style is sleek. I did read the other reviews on here, but since I showed up on a Tuesday and it was morning not a lot was going on. The lady didn’t look like anything I read on here, but who knows right? I did enjoy my brief stay. I ordered a green apple smoothy. Sucks cause I forgot to take a picture of it. Hey the drink was way great! It was perfect. It wasn’t all to sweat, or not blended at all. If you are a fan of the dramas you will know what I am talking about. I looks like it’s way better for hosting big crowds tho. Because the seats are stretched way out from the actual table. There were two people that arrived after me, no problem there. Although I’d say they can probably get maybe a tiny big more space for the seating outside. The prices a reasonable, but I think a dollar less off of everything would make more moderate. Cause 4:75 for a fricking boba naw… I take it back a dollar and seventy five cents is more reasonable. I will go back maybe in a group.

Since my party and I went there in the evenings, we only ordered hot drinks. The hot cocoa was rich, chocolaty. The caramel macchiato was super sweet(not a problem for my sweet toothed friend but I like my coffee to actually have a coffee taste to it). The vanilla latte was thick with foam and heavy on the coffee. All the drinks were hot and generously given. The price was in proportion to what we got but steep by most standards($ 5.50 per cup). Why only 3 stars? Despite the emptiness of the coffee house, there was no one at the counter when we walked in. Nor was the person working there consistently there or checking up in a timely fashion. And even paying for the drinks at the end had been a strange wait while the person comes back after an absence. This seem to be their way so don’t go here if you are in a hurry or have no patience for things. That being said, if you have a lazy evening and want a cup of coffee to relax with, this wouldn’t be a bad place to spend some time in. There indoor and outdoor seating(though outdoor seating might be met with smokers) and there’s cakes and cookies you can order as a snack.

No boba at a boba house? Awkward. We had to wait 10 minutes as the only customers at the counter to get any greeting or help. Our drinks(coffee milk tea with boba and mango smoothie) took an unusually long time to make and my friend thought her smoothie was inedible. I did not finish my drink either. Strangely, when I went to order my first choice(which was either Thai Tea or something with matcha/green tea) the guy taking the order said, «No, don’t get that. It’s not good.» It surprised me. When the person working there is telling me to stay away from an item because it’s gross… should have been my red flag to just walk away right there. I remember this place being better since I stop by before a show at The Wiltern right around the corner, but won’t be coming here again. Oh… and there was a mysterious smell that made being inside slightly unbearable. :| No bueno.

I ordered a Thai Tea boba and was extremely dissatisfied. The Thai Tea tasted NOTHING like Thai Tea, it was extremely bitter and just not good. The boba balls were hard and tasted as if they were old. And to top it off the drink was overpriced!

I actually liked this place for the fact that $ 5 gets you a lot of bang for your buck. The boba is at least 24+oz and I am not exaggerating, and to me being used to pay that or more for a drink half the size elsewhere, its sort of comforting. The taste is actually good, not THE best boba in town but nice enough to hit the spot and make you happy. I will say these boba drinks are blended quite heavy on the ice. Maybe next time I will ask for a non-blended type so that I can report on that. The dessert portions are also larger than average which is a plus because it makes it better for sharing. They have their own lot but it is very small. As long as the place is not packed then everything is good but I could foresee it being a nightmare if it was full. The servers both times were super nice and patient given that me and my party(as usual) are indecisive when given a variety of things we love(we do also love a lot of things). They were also very kind to accommodate any special requests that some of us had. The only other thing I would mention is that I do not recommend this place for a group who is trying to study or anyone trying to do work. Just like all other boba places, no surprise, there are a lot of groups of people hanging out and up to some shenanigans, me and my friends included. So this is not a place to relax. There is no doubt in my mind that I will be back here, sooner than later.

: Likes : — Very cozy — The waitress gave me a password for their WiFi. I super heart free Wifi — Free parking in the tiny parking lot — I found a power outlet!!! — they play a weird mix of Kpop and American pop music. I feel like I’m now caught up on current pop trends in two countries. — MYICEDCOFFEEDIDNOTTASTEBURNED!!! It was actually pretty good. It was light, refreshing and just what I wanted on a hot day. — the friendly staff refreshed my iced coffee. Yum! : Dislikes : — the pretty which sofas aren’t very comfortable. My butt feels flattened and that’s never a good thing — this place is pretty small so I could hear EVERYTHING the people next to me were saying. If I could understand Korean, I’m pretty sure I would know all the secrets to their business. — unlike other coffee spots, the other patrons today did not utilize their«inside voice». That made it rather difficult for me to focus on what I wanted to do today. That’s why I’m Unilocaling instead… and trying to piece together their conversation using the smattering of English words they’re throwing around. — once the two waitresses went behind the swinging doors together, I waited for about 5 minutes to pay my bill at the register. Would I come back here again? Yeah, I would… but I’d make sure I packed my iPod earphones first.

the order. milk tea w/boba the boba was blah. but im giving this milk tea a four stars because it is one of the most fragrant and delicious milk teas i have had in koreatown– you know the type, overly creamy milk teas. which is different from the chinese/taiwanese milk teas that are a bit more balanced between tea and milk at 4.75 it ain’t cheap but neither is the lackluster cup of milk tea up the street at I heart boba. come here for the milk tea and the cozy café environment. boy, i wish that boba was better…

$ 4 for a mango milk tea with LOTS of ice and a serious lack of balls. The flavor was great though. I just felt ripped-off is all…

So I asked the worker«which boba drink is popular?», and she said«green tea and taro», so I ordered taro boba drink $ 4. It was my first time taro drink, so I don’t know how taste should be, but it was ok.

good strawberry/mango smoothie boba this is the first place in la that made a «smoothie» not a «slushie/smoothie» i dislike all the other boba or café places that just put syrup in the drink when you order a smoothie stop by and try. workers are very friendly too.

overpriced for the type/style/portion/taste steak at a coffee house?
