Ordered a carne asada burrito for $ 5.50. Tasted alright, beef didn’t look freshly cooked. It didn’t hit the spot so I ordered three tacos: chicharron, pastor, and cabeza. The chicharron was mushy and didn’t have much flavor. Pastor was better, but the cabeza was excellent fatty goodness. It wasn’t dripping in oil or anything but it had a nice shimmer to it and had great flavor. The taco’s were of decent size on a single orange-ish colored tortilla that looked freshly made. Went back up to the truck halfway through my tacos because they forgot to give me my coke, only to be told they were out of coke. The lady listed off the other drinks she had, while I was patiently waiting for her to offer me the superior bottled coke(I know, I cheaped out). It didn’t happen, so I asked her if I can have the bottled coke. She said it’d be $ 1 more. Boo. I went with the Squirt instead. I squeezed some lime juice inside it so it wasn’t that bad. Didn’t expect to spend $ 11 on a taco truck to get full. If you eat here, do yourself a favor and skip the middling burrito. Instead get the tacos. They aren’t tiny two-biters like some places and the tortilla’s one of the better I’ve had.

The mythical magic that is Julio’s cannot be compared. Late night when your craving something savoy to sober-up with, Julio’s will be there faithfully offering their fantastic fare. And trust me; Julio’s brings the party along with the flavor. They have seats lined up for ya inviting you to come and relax while they whip it real good in their truck. And at $ 1.50 per taco you will wait patiently for it to arrive. Luckily the wait isn’t too bad and they have a salsa bar you can gander at in the meantime.(CHOOSETHEGREENSAUCE). The tacos are packed with flavor. I got the chicken tacos and was impressed that it was well seasoned and that the tortilla was pillowy soft. Overall this place is awesome, cheap and tasty. xoxoxoxoxo Taco Lover xoxoxoxoxo

So my friend spotted this truck after we left Lock and Key. The truck had a flashing Marquee which made it attractive enough to try. Lets start with the price, the price of a taco is roughly $ 1.50. I was jumping out my socks because tacos in LA can get a bit pricey. I ordered to beef tacos. It took maybe 5 to 6mins to get my food, so not a long wait at all. These tacos were so clutch and just amazing. The shells were so soft, fresh, and warm. The meat was seasoned so well and the ample amount of cotija cheese they put on top was amazing. I was so mad that I had only ordered two. Well anyway, I will def be searching for this trucks, all of my friends enjoyed their tacos too, and we will def be back.

basura basura basura. Today i ate basura. i am never sober when i come to this truck, but i think the truck at 3rd and vermont has changed. Burrito Truck Peak hours are fridays and saturday nights from 1am-4am. Usually you’ll see 5 dollar plastic picnic chairs littered with the aftermath of hispanic people gone clubbing, but as of recently theres nobody here. this is my theory of food. if you go to a chinese restaurant and you see 0 chinese people, do not eat there. korean food same thing(i.e. hodori aka pure basura) so if you go to a burrito truck and you see no hispanics. do not eat there. the meat from the burrito tastes like youre chewing a towel and it seems the more times you tell them no frijoles, the more friggin frijoles you get. walk to burger king 1 block north and their tacos will taste better than this

I couldn’t find any other reviews of this taco truck on here, which is surprising, but maybe I made a mistake. Anyways, I believe the name is Julio’s. It’s the truck parked just a few meters west of Vermont on 3rd St. They have an electronic marquee that even has Hangeul(Korean letters), which is interesting since they’re all Latino workers. It’s your pretty standard taco truck… I’m not picky. It’s all delicious to me, and cheap! They have some chairs you can sit down and eat at also.
