We had Joe’s Pizza truck at my daughter’s bat mitzvah and they were awesome. They showed up on time, were super easy to work with and had pizza ready to go so that there were no lines during the party. Everyone loved it. I thought only the kids would eat it because we had two other trucks that had more«adult» food, but the adults were grubbing on pizza all night. I highly recommend them for a party!

Had the pizza at Coachella so it may not the exact experience most have but still shouldn’t have been this bad. Food wise, the pizza was good for festival food but I’ve had better pizza in LA. We paid at one window and went to the next to pickup our food. The problem began with the guy working the pickup window. Lady in front of us was only asking for a napkin but he just kept looking at her and couldn’t bother to answer. She walked away. Then the next guy ordered 1 white and 1 cheese slice but the window guy kept trying to give him 2 cheese. We also ordered 1 white and 1 cheese. Got the cheese no problem after he tried to give it to the guy in front of us. Then he was just calling out slices. Cheese! 1 cheese! He’s looking at us like we should be taking it but tell him we got 1 cheese and 1 white. He again tried to give us another cheese. Being honest we tell him that’s not ours and just need a white slice. He gives us our slice finally but says nothing! Don’t work if you’re going to be that bad at your job.

Do not book for an event!!! Not reliable at all. I hired this truck for a work event. I confirmed with them the time of arrival and agreed to have their food truck as the only one at the event so they would receive a lot of business. They showed up an hour late and didn’t even have the courtesy to call or even apologize for being so late when they finally arrived. By the time they got set up it was close to 2 hours after they were booked to start serving food. Then to make matters worse their generator kept failing so they were only able to serve pizza for 30 minutes at most. We have food trucks all the time at this location with no problems so or was definitely an issue with their equipment. I work for a nonprofit and all food trucks donate 10% of the proceeds from any event of ours they are at to the cause. Joe’s pizza truck did not even do this. They never returned my follow-up calls. Completely unprofessional. I will never, ever book them again.

I wanted to hire this company for a Halloween fundraiser, but when I called on 10÷18÷14 at 3:10PM a rude man answered the phone. When I asked if this was the number for the pizza truck he hung up the phone on me! I called back and got the same rude guy. When I stated I wanted to hire the company for a fundraiser he said you’ll have to call back no one is in office on weekend. No… Can I take your information? Number? Anything!

Delivery takes FOREVER!!! Great pizza. But horrible attitudes… If you go in to the actual place they treat you like dirt… The grandma pizza is really good though. Whatever you do DON’T Ask for ranch

The next truck had New York pizza, so I tried a slice. That was good, and the crust was super thin! Was at Grand Park, the staff told me they would open a store in the downtown area soon! Somewhere near Grand Park — yea!!!

NY style pizza? Yes, yes it is. Unfortunately it’s just average NY style pizza, if that. Crust and sauce are both a bit bland, the cheese isn’t anything special. And given even a random pizza place in New York, you have 50 – 50 odds of getting decent or getting awful… The plus side? Even average New York style pizza here is a pain in the butt to find. After hunting them down for months they finally had a convenient stop to me(Coachella fail, people– us plebes couldn’t get into the VIP area!), and the experience was underwhelming.

Hands down, best pizza in LA. First of all the slice is true NY, they sell by the slice, all the toppings you want. But a true pizza comes down to crust and sauce and they’ve got it down. Only problem is that they need more stores :). Wait a minute now they are mobile… even better

My company just did an event with Joe’s Pizza Truck, very happy with the results! Who would have thought you could get such a great slice off of a truck? I personally tried the Grandma’s slice, and white slice, both were great.

Okay, so if your not too sure what slice to get… Go with the grandma slice! It has to be my favorite slice of pizza. The best part is how thin the crust is. Less calories = less guilt. Highly recommended!

Finally! An authentic NY style pizza spot right here in Hollywood! Best pizza sauce ever! Can’t tell you how many late nights have ended up there. The perfect pre-hangover cure.

Incredibly awesome pizza!!! I was recently was at an event when the truck pulled up, and I had to get in on the action. I’m from NYC and can’t stop going to the Joe’s in Hollywood so no doubt i would love the truck. My favorite is their Grandma’s Pizza. Slices run about $ 3.50 each but it’s well worth it. You should not miss trying this pizza. It’s a real treat!

Tried this at a friend’s son’s birthday party — yum. They didn’t have a pre-prepped mushroom slice, so the guys made me one on the spot! Pizza was so good, just like the store, which is the best on the West Coast IMO. Fun staff, cute mobile truck, this is on my wish list for MY next bday party. Friends take note!

Joe’s Pizza is hands down the best pizza in Los Angeles! The pies from the truck are very authentic… no different than getting a pie from Joe’s restaurant. Highly recommended!
