We walked by this place while we were at farmer market in Hollywood. We decided to try & It was a bad idea. Farmer belly goes from a food truck to a restaurant and they aren’t ready for this setting. There was a cook and his helper in the kitchen. Three women, one takes order, one runs table and clean up., The owner, she is back & forth between the kitchen & the front. They were understaffed and totally lost. We waited for 45 mins with no food. We checked our order and they were honest to admit they misplaced our ticket. We asked for our money back and left hungry. I’ll give 2 stars just because they were honest about their mistakes & didn’t charge us our two coffees.

Long wait and not cheap. Asked for no tomato and no mayo. The order taker called it out correctly but I still go both. Not happy.

Uh-Maze-Tits! Their Lolita Sandwich was so fresh and tasty :) Be sure to get their side salad as well… super healthy and a great addition to their sandwiches. Awesome food truck and personality. They’re sure to brighten your day :)

This truck came to my work. I loved it so much I also went to the café in Hollywood. Good food that I knew growing up. This truck just made it more modern and organic! Loved it and the café was great too. I left a review there too.

I tried them for the first time today. Pros: Blue Cheese Burger was very good. The pretzel bun was delicious. Side salad was good. Cons: No prices on menu. Expensive — Our group got 2 sandwiches, 1 burger, 1 fries and 1 mini side salad,. It all came to $ 43! The wait — with about 5 people in line before us it was was 20 minutes from the time we got in line until the food was ready.

The breakfast was good and came out pretty quick, but the cashier seemed like he didn’t give a fug about dealing with any questions. That’s cool but they should get some felt foot shoes for the chair legs cuz they make lots of noise on the concrete floor. The chocolate cake was moist. Moist is a gross word. The kind of word that kills bonors. Didn’t think you’d see bonor in a restaurant review did you? Voila! FYI: we had the breakfast burrito and eggs with bacon. Ps … Bonors

The simplest review I’ve ever written: without question the best breakfast in Hollywood. Period. And they serve all day. All — day — in — Hollywood(which is not common). Price, quality, taste, atmosphere all top notch; and I’ve had a bunch of the food on their menu and every item is AMAZING!

I haven’t had a lot of mind blowing food in LA, especially for under $ 10, but the salmon toast totally blew me away. The salmon was hickory smoked and laid in strips above a delicious poached egg, perfectly ripened avocado and crispy farmers market bread. Just thinking about it makes me pine to come back. Service was warm, if a bit over-the-top friendly, and the décor was tasteful, understated yet undeniably hip. It’s tucked away in an under-trafficked corner of Selma Ave away from the bustle of Vine, which might be why crowds have been so sparse. Get here before it becomes the next packed brunch spot!

Super disappointed! My husband and I came to this food truck and ordered the Lolita and the Chicken pesto. Let’s start with the Lolita. The Lolita– Free Range Chicken with Goat Cheese, Spring Mix and a Red Pepper Sauce on a sourdough bread. Special request: light on the goat cheese. $ 9 The chicken was so thin it looked like the pounded the crap out of it. This Red Pepper PASTE was thick and unappealing. Tasted like tomato paste more than Red Pepper. Attached picture. I ate a quarter and was done. The husband ate it but as he did he said«not waiting in a line to eat something else. it’s crappy but it’s food» Chicken Pesto Sandwich– Free Range Chicken with Pesto Mozzarella and Provolone and spring mix. Special request: light cheese $ 9 Again with the flat piece of chicken. Smothered in cheese. The only saving grace, the pesto. But really, how hard is it to mess pesto up? Won’t be coming to this truck again.

Convenient food truck, limited menu items, waiting time wasn’t that bad, expect $ 10 ~ $ 12 for one panini, sandwich or burger Chicken Pesto Panino — *** Organic free range chicken, pesto sauce, mozzarella/provolone cheese, heirloom tomato on farmers market sourdough, very special taste, seems like healthy The Blue Cheese Master Burger — *** 6oz of humanly treated beef patty, wild arugula, grilled white onion, blue cheese crumble, mozzarella/provolone, on farmers market pretzel bun. it tasted good, but the patty was overcooked and even burned
Ill let you k.

Wanted to love this food truck. I ordered a Lolita sandwich and first off I wasn’t aware it was a panini because it wasn’t under the panini menu. So when I got it, I bit into hot soggy, lettuce and spinach. I don’t think I’ve ever tasted a more disgusting sandwich. Of course, I could just take off the spinach, but why should I have to for a $ 10 sandwich? Totally disappointed i had to ingest calories on subpar food.

I ordered the BBLT. They made a normal BLT and then put it in a panini press. WHY?! The lettuce was warm, wilted, and fell out when I bit into it. It was SO disappointing. Why would you ever put lettuce in a panini press? BLT’s are supposed to be served cold with toasted bread.

Tried the food truck today at the Santa Monica Festival– it was my favorite of the day. Food– Ordered the sprout sandwich with mayo, the California Melt and fries– everything was fresh and delicious! I will definitely try them again Service– so there was a young persian man in line in front of me and another gentleman– when he got to the front of the line he called his girlfriend and waited until she and eight of her friends came over– we waited 30 minutes while they all ordered separately and paid separately. Everyone in line who had already been waiting started to get really upset. The young man behind the counter saw what was happening and he made sure that the people who had been waiting in line like me got our food served before this rude group of people did– I went back and made sure to give him a tip for making sure his customers got taken care of–

Don’t waste your time. My heirloom panino was a pathetic excuse for a sandwich. The menu described as 3 different cheeses and tomatoes on sourdough. What it was was a measly handful of shredded cheese and 2 slices of tomato. The sweet potato fries were horrendously under seasoned.

This is one of those food trucks where the owners said«let’s call everything organic and use the word „farmer“ and the hipsters will love it.» There’s nothing fresh going on here. Also I’m not sure they know how to cook very well. Reuben is a disaster. Burger tastes like a frozen patty with lots of seasoned salt, and of course it’s overcooked. Almost seems mircowaved. Friendly guys running the place so I’m giving them an extra star for that.

Wow. Did not expect how good their melts would be! Ordered the Reuben melt with marble rye bread, corn beef brisket, sauerkraut, provolone and cheddar cheese. Presentation itself was beautiful, and the smell of it was even better. Took my first bite… and wow. The corn beef brisket was diced into thin long strips(i dont know a better way to put it) and was so tender and juicy. The sauce was creamy with a slight hint of vinegar that just went so well with the sandwich. The cheese was melted perfectly. and the bread was toasted– crispy on the outside and warm and soft on the inside. I was totally and entirely impressed with sandwich that I had. Definitely the best sandwich I’ve had from a food truck!

Wow! The food off this truck does not seem like truck quality, but restaurant quality! You can’t even get alfalfa sprouts in most restaurants, nowadays. We ran over here for lunch on a weekday, and ordered several burgers, sandwiches, and fries. Pretzel rolls, pesto, and did I mention sprouts? The fries were tasty too, and I think one of the sauces it comes with is a Russian aioli… unless I heard wrong. Farmers Belly is killing it as a truck, and would kill more as a restaurant! Highly recommended.

The Farmers Belly truck has a nice menu full of fresh, organic ingredients, fresh bread and hormone free/humainly treated beef. I recently tried the Reuben Melt which consisted of Corned Beef Brisket, Sauerkraut, Cheddar, provolone/mozzarella blend, House Russian Sauce, on farmers market marble rye. The corned beef brisket came in chunks and was nice and tender. However, I don’t think they put enough because most bitefuls were just of sauerkraut and sauce. The sauce was a bit on the tangy, vinegary side. The marble rye bread was amazing. Soft, but the crust was crispy and had great flavor. The food is made to order and took over 10 minutes to get. The burgers looked really delicious… they were huge! The customer service was great and they accept credit cards.

Hey, just calling your food organic isn’t enough. The food should also taste good. I don’t intend to return, but would like to offer some tips to the owners based on my experience: 1-Turn down the music inside the truck. The woman taking my order couldn’t hear me and I yelled«and an egg» three times. After the third time, I let it drop. 2-Mix up the salad. I got a clamshell stuffed with lettuce with the veggies all lumped together in different spots on top. If I had tried mixing it myself, all the contents would have fallen out. 3-The chicken was so gross that the two co-workers near me who ordered it actually removed the chicken from their sandwiches. Whatever you’re doing to cook it, it isn’t working. 4– Speed it up. We expect wait times at trucks. We are used to it. But your wait time today was unacceptable.
