This place is hit or miss. Sometimes the food is good but it usually takes a long time to even get it. Because it is run out of the college I can understand why the quality is not the forefront. Providing the food for the students is the main objective of the store. There are some good items on the menu but mostly is a place for small snacks. I would go there sometimes cause it’s alright. Makes for good break in between studying at the library, but I would not go out of my way to pick Jasmine’s. It’s very accessible and that is a plus.

Sat in here to do and assignment with a friend, and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. There’s TVs for people to watch, but most people are in here on their laptops doing(or at least pretending to) work. It’s conveniently right next to the library, but you can’t bring certain drinks or food in there, so you have to be aware of the rules. As for the actually good and drink: blegh. If you have a choice, go to the Lion’s Den, Starbucks in UHall, or the Coffee Cart. You won’t regret it. Jazzman’s is a great place to do homework, but I wouldn’t count on being able to stay there all day; you might need to leave and get food and drink elsewhere.

The location is the best on campus to work or meet or just take a break. However, the coffee is sub-par and they really don’t know how to make espresso drinks with the equipment they have.

Jazzman’s always satisfies my vanilla soy latte cravings. Starbucks is pretty far, so Jazzman’s gets the job done. It’s perfect for late night study sessions before I actually hit the library. Totally love the décor and I get a fun vibe from the furniture colors. My drink is usually made in 3 minutes or less, which is great due to my lack of patience. Woohooo, GOJAZZMANS!

Living in the Bay Area for a while, I became«that guy». You know the one. When I can choose between an indie and a chain, go for the indie, support local businesses, blah blah blah. Really, though, it is a good thing. Also, Starbucks was on the opposite side of campus from me, and I had twenty minutes until I had to be somewhere. So off to Jazzman’s I go, per the recommendation of the very cute goatee’d student worker at the gym. In and out fast, Sean the barista was fast, efficient, and pleasant. I had my coffee and was still at my meeting, 10 minutes early. Bonus!
