Long review to follow, but this is important to know for any and all potential patrons. Last night, I came here with my boyfriend and was promptly verbally assaulted by a female patron. She appeared to be homeless and was clearly struggling with severe mental illness(I would guess schizophrenia and/or psychosis). We walked in silently and stood looking at the menu, when she glanced back to say«This fucking couple, I fucking hate them…» and continued rambling about us as she placed her order. This continued and she swiveled, walked closer to us, and began screaming«You want to fuck me up?! You want to fuck me up?! I’m 52 years old, you’re horrible people, you want to fuck me up I’LLFUCKYOUUP». At this point, neither my boyfriend and I had moved an inch and were frozen in place, staring deferentially down at the ground. She had several bags of her possessions with her, and although logically I doubt she had a gun, neither of us could reasonably rule out that she may have a knife. So we ended up just shuffling slightly, whenever possible, so that she was not within arm’s reach. She left the restaurant and went to stand outside(where she continued to turn around, point, and scream at us through the glass) and at this point I’m teary-eyed and shaking like a leaf. Key point of the story: we had walked there, and live within easy eyeshot up the street. If this individual wanted to follow or intercept us, it would be extremely easy to do so. I want to leave, but my boyfriend stays and orders his food. I eventually order mine as well. You may be wondering at this point what the employees did to intervene and help us in this situation. NOTHING. While the woman was yelling and carrying on, there were 3 – 4 employees who either were already at the counter who wandered out and stared. One girl grinned bemusedly. After she left, the only action or recompense they took was a lazy«hey, thanks for listening to that, I’ll only charge you for your tacos and not the drink» to my boyfriend. I paid full price. As she continued to yell at us from outside while we waited for our food, I was literally hiding behind a wall with my head in my hands, having an anxiety attack. Not one employee checked in with us, or offered a single solution or kind word. They took no visible action, had no communication, and in fact began wiping down tables instead of making a move to help us. There was no line, and no excuse to treat us in that way. We received our food and had to jog out the side door home. I know that these Jack In The Box employees are mostly teenage kids without crisis intervention training or a psychology background. I tried to be sympathetic to that, but could you ever imagine that above scenario playing out at(for example) Chick-fil-A? It’s another fast food with a young staff, but they actually care about the customer. I intentionally waited to cool down to write this review, but my boyfriend and I were both awake in the middle of the night, still rattled by the whole situation. There are so many fast food restaurants around– I would urge you to take your business somewhere that cares about your satisfaction and more importantly, safety.

This place is disgusting, went there to order breakfast the lady took my money with the gloves she had on and then she did not even bother to take them of when she put the food in the bag and touched the napkin with the same glove. I told her about it and she ignored me. This place is a shit hole eat at your own risk!

Expect no manners from some is their staff. There was no one waiting when I arrived. I am about to order and the girl at register just tells me «I ll be with you in a minute» and left to the back of the kitchen. She didn’t even bother to let the other two at the drive through window –who were just chatting and of of them was not busy– that I needed help ordering. I waited for like a minute to process why would she leave the register just like that and had to call for their attention. I really don’t know how much longer I was supposed to wait. Anyway… What kind of service am I expecting from a Jack in Box?

I go this jack pretty often cuz is next right to my place in about 1 min walk. Every time I go people who work there is always sad and food is always suffering from their lack of happiness. I hope one day they will get better and fries will be more fresh and tasty.

I usually don’t review fast food places like this, but I thought I would because I see reviews are unjustified and they deserve a break. I live across the street. They are practically my neighbors. Anytime I go here, I see people that are working hard and doing their best. They are generous. For example, I ordered curly fries. How long does it take to pour curly fries Into a container? Maybe 10 seconds. But the lady spent 30 seconds attempting like 4 time to fill up the container as much as possible. They she placed it down and grabbed tongues and topped it off even more. For fast food, that’s impressive. They also serve you diner style. They make sure food is hot and they serve in a basket with the burger exposed and not completely wrapped. This gives you a higher value experience. Sure people make mistakes, but they don’t deserve to be knocked so hard.

English Good morning to all those who are lovers of coffee with cream. This morning I want to tell you that went through my famous coffee in the morning and the first thing the man who serves tells me is: we have no cream for coffee. That was for me so strong that I could not believe I had to go to McDonalds … As a place can sell coffee without cream This is unusual, no cream for coffee … I can not believe this is unusual, not having creams can not believe I give a zero to the Jack in the Box.

If you go to this location in the late hours always make sure to check your order. On several occasions that I have gone here my order has either been wrong or has been missing the sides.

You get what you pay for, so I do not expect a five-star meal out of this place. What I do expect, and usually receive, is a great chicken teriyaki bowl that Jack in the Box offers. Whenever I need a quick meal, and I’m in West LA, I come to this drive-thru and order their bowl. It comes with grilled chicken, broccoli, carrots, and white rice, topped with teriyaki sauce. Unlike the location in Hollywood(on Sunset Blvd), this place provides a good amount of chicken in their bowls. I sometimes ordered their iced teas, which is a good addition to my quick meal. The crowd here is so-so, but I usually don’t go inside anyway. The customer service is above average when compared to other locations.

Worse jack in the box ever. I went they drive thru and the worker couldn’t stop staring at my Mercedes roadster, maybe that’s why she couldn’t hear or understand. But I said egg and cheese and no meat, because I am vegetarian and she out bacon in my sandwich. She didn’t even give me a straw for the ice coffee. What a place. I am Jewish keep kosher and she hides bacon inside my sandwich. I should sue this place.

Honestly, I only go here for the breakfast and when I have coupons. Hashbrowns are super greasy(but what do you expect). I’m actually addicted to their burritos, in fact that’s probably the only thing I really get there. I had some of their burgers and they’re alright. Service is hit or miss, but I don’t blame them– it’s a fast food joint, so you shouldn’t expect much.

Nuggets were fresh but fries tasted a day old. Also had to wait for a long time at drive thru which is unacceptable. Other than that– nuggets were good

I asked for a jumbo jack with no cheese, extra pickles and you know what I got, a jumbo jack no cheese and no pickles so I had to walk my fatass up there again and ask them to put extra pickles and they only put four pickles bs

I have only dined inside this restaurant once but have used the drive thru plenty of times dating back to when I was first able to drive and came out to Westwood for the old arcade! The inside is your typical Jack and clean enough. The review is more for the drive thru and the various experiences you can have here. It’s either hit or miss with this drive thru, and if it’s a miss, it’s a longggg wait. You typically have to wait a bit anyway, which is ok because you want your fast food to be as fresh as possible(if that’s possible). They have rarely gotten the order wrong and for the most part the food is put together well and tastes pretty good. If you are in a rush, I would not come here and expect to be out quick.

Oreo shake and cronut. Cronut? well… not really. They say it’s croissant donut and it is croissant donut. No layered laminated dough inside your donut. It was just a donut that tasted like croissant. 3 tiny donuts for $ 1.99. Oreo shake($ 3.49): Once in a while I crave Oreo shake because I like Oreo. 3 stars! Jack in the Box oreo shake is almost yummylicious!

I decided to substitute the grease drenched hashbrowns for fries and what do I get? Fries that taste like they were cooked yesterday. I just can’t win with this JITB. If my iced tea tastes right, then my food is cold. If my food is hot, my iced tea tastes like dish water. What puzzles me is that I KNOW that if they were cooking for themselves they wouldn’t opt for fries that were cooked 4 hours ago so why would they think that I’d want it? If it weren’t for the fact that it’s close to my job, I’d never go back.

I am new to LA, so I may have liked this place more than other people. Coming from Pittsburgh, we don’t have any fast food chains other than McDonalds, Wendys, and Burger King.(the basics) So going here, was heaven! The bacon cheese burger I got was delicious. It was neatly prepared. The fries were warm and freshly made. The service was great as well. Despite the kid giving me a bottle of water water when I asked for extra tomato(how he mixed that up is beyond me), it still earned 5 stars.

It’s Jack in the box. What else is there to say? If it’s 2am and you’re hungry, you go because it’s walking distance and you’re in no shape to drive. At least they serve that crappy breakfast all day. There is NOTHING«extreme» about the Extreme Sausage sandwich.

Will the future of fast food be ordering from a self-service machine? Perhaps so! This Jack-in-the-Box has a self-service ordering machine! Located to the right of the traditional ordering counter is where you’ll find it; you honestly can’t miss it! I saw some poster or something saying you would receive two free tacos if you ordered from the machine; I’m not sure if there was a minimum spend or what the details were — but hey — that’s pretty neat! I haven’t personally tried out the machine, but I am keen to!(I’m a picky eater, and I want to know if it can accommodate things like ‘no mayo’.) As for the Jack-in-the-Box itself — it’s all right. No complaints. Typical Jack-in-the-Box food. I like the tacos(not the shell, just the insides) and the spicy chicken sandwich w/cheese. Those are the only things I’ve ever had there: stick to what you know! I wish they left the forks out; they keep them behind the counter. If there is a small queue of people waiting to order, I feel awkward hovering next to them awaiting a fork.

*It’s been a long time and I know I shouldn’t have left you… Hmm… Why am I reviewin’ a Jack in the Box you say? Maybe because it’s the simple fact that I even if I wanted to I can’t get 2 Tacos, fries, and a drink for next to nothing… However, I wanted to give this place the proper respect it deserves. Location: Santa Monica Blvd and Veteran(This is the only Jack N the Box by UCLA and all the Bruins call it the Jack in the Box on Veteran) Hours: All day everyday baby… Food: The food is pretty legit. When I mean legit I do mean next to In-n-out this is probably my go to place Burgers: I like their variety. It ranges from the Ultimate cheese burger, Jack’s Spicy Chicken, and one of my OG favorites«Sourdough Jack»… Give it a whirl and see which one tickles your pickle. Dollar Menu: Tacos, Chicken Sandwich, Big Cheeseburger. The portions are substantial and it’s quite a bargin for what you pay for. If you look at other establishments and compare their dollar menu to Jack’s there is no comparison. Wait: Yes, there will be a line. YES. THEREWILLBE A LINEIFYOUGOLATEATNIGHT. Either you will be behind some Persians in a mercedes punkin’ their Techno or UCLA Asian girls who crave a chicken sandwich but it’s a safe bet that if you go into the wee hours of the night you’ll be in a line. Though, it is definitely worth the wait :) *Stuff that is only specific to Jack in the Box* Curly Fries!!! I don’t remember if you’re able to switch out your fries free of charge or you might have to pay… However, their fries are AMAAAAZZZZZZZZING. Way better than Carls. Jr. Criss Cut fries. Oreo Cookie Shake: DO I NEEDTOEVENEXPLAINTHISONE??? Rootbeer float: My own weakness… Their float is pretty legit. However, I maybe have to give it up to Wendy’s on their Root beer float cause they use Their Frosty as part of the base for their float. BASTARDS. *Breakfast all day… Jack in the Box was actually one of the first places to actually do this. That ain’t no lie my friends. I’ve been coming to this location for at least 10+ years and if I ever felt like gettin’ an Ultimate breakfast sandwich at 3am. TRUST. It would happen. Can you get your Sausage EGGMCMUFFIN at 3am??? NOPPPPPPPPPPPPE I’ve been to a lot of Jack in the boxes in my time growin’ up on the Westcoast and bein a product of a Fat America. Trust that this is the best one to go to if you don’t particularly care about your health and lookin’ to gain a few lbs.
