Had the chicken bahnmi. Pretty standard, will be coming back for more of the menu.

Really good vegetarian options. Good atmosphere, excellent service, and there is parking in the back.

A good option for when you don’t feel like waiting in line at Phở Café or when you want someplace less funky than Viet across the street. Service is prompt. Price is right. There is always a free table. Old movies on the TV. Is it the best phở you’ve ever had? No but it’s solid.

Badddd!!! service. So I walked in with my family, the tall white lady just stared at us. Hellooo she suppose to say welcome, may I help. But instead she has no reaction seems like she doesn’t want us there. I’m Asian I love Vietnamese cuisine but instead of expecting a good service, this lady is not welcoming. In Asian culture when you have visitor especially its rainy days you give them a warm welcome and have them enjoy the soup. As Asian, I was very disappointed by her service, the quality of her service is very poor. Plus all the tables were dirty there was no place to seat. So we walked out of the restaurant and never go back to this place again!

Excellent, fast, friendly service. Loved their vegetarian phở! Big portions, great price. My go-​to phở spot from now on.

Decent neighborhood phở. Not fussy. Homey. Great for a quick casual meal. Especially if you’re walking distance. Unless you’re making a trek to SGV or Orange County, or willing to brave parking on Sunset, this is your stop for phở.
If you like pâté, the banh mi has a ton of it.

This place was just okay. It is not an authentic Vietnamese restaurant. It’s hard to come across good and authentic Vietnamese restaurants in LA. Gotta travel to SGV or the OC for Viet food.

First time… loved the food. Very reasonable. My only complaints is that They don’t have booze (I can deal with that) and they seemed under staffed. One server on a Saturday night. She managed to be prompt but I would imagine she could get overwhelmed pretty easily.

This is probably the best phở and rolls I have so far in LA. The guy here is super nice and friendly too. It’s more of southern Vietnamese.

There’s som super gentrified restaurants in this area that are SUPER overrated for their crappy and overpriced pr tenuous food, drinks and environment. THIS IS NOT ONE.
This is the real deal. I have trust issues with eating out as a chef. I cannot stand most of LA’d offerings that are not literally family businesses or straight out of home catering.
I’m a native and I’ve seen the crap shoot of overzealous trustfund baby business ventures and capitalist owned corporate crap masked in trendy artisan dressings.
This has become a spot I must visit every week after the farmers market. I wish I loved closer because I’d be ordering out from here otherwise.
Down to earth service. Delicious and not oily! I hope they go organic soon because that would make it perfect.

Being from a small farm town, getting a taste for Phở took a while for me. But thanks to Indochine, I crave it now! I always get the vegetarian phở — it’s flavorful, the noodles are always cooked perfectly, and it feels like a comfort food I don’t know how I ever lived without.
My boyfriend has a ton of Phở meals under his belt, and rates this place as one of his favorites. I cannot speak to the poor service other reviewers have mentioned (we always get takeout), but he gets the meat combination Phở (not sure which one it is) and always raves about it. I’ve been underwhelmed by most Phở in Los Angeles, but this place is unreal!

Closest phở place near my house when I don’t feel like driving all the way down to the 626 area.

Downside: their bàhn mi sandwiches are kinda over-​priced.

Was across the street and heard my stomach start begging for grub. Had the head cheese sandy and the beef phở. Sandy good, the phở was ok.

I grew up in Atwater Village, so I have made multiple trips here. Never ever have I left disappointed here. The service is great, the employees are friendly and always attend to me quickly.
The vegan/​vegetarian options there are really really great here. So filled with flavor and they aren’t stingy, you get a nice lumpsome of food! The price is pretty average for vegan/​vegetarian friendly food, so to speak, $ 9 and up. I could go to alhambra and get the same food cheaper, lower quality, and it wouldn’t be veggie friendly. So no thanks lol

I’ve ate PHO at several legit Vietnamese places in the suburbs of Detroit, so when we were in Eagle Rock, our children said this place is «THE BOMB»
I have to wholeheartedly agree.
We came in at 3 pm on Easter Sunday, this super charming gal, moved-​organized-​rearranged and did what she could so the 5 of us could sit together.
The kids knew what the wanted, my wife was a PHO –Newbie so she followed there lead.
I needed & crave protein

Phở Tai Bo Vien — Fragrant beef broth with rice noodles, slivers of rare steak and beef meatballs. 9.50
Fragrant is truly an understatement, as the broth was hearty & as PHO usually-​always does, cleared out my pipes-​sinus-​nasal LOVE THAT!
I LOVED the rare steak, however the meatball texture, was just not for me
(but not worth taking away a star, it was just me & my issues lol)
Rice noodles were plenty & perfect.
And the chef was not shy about providing platters of extra veggies to add to my PHO
Our hostess, server was named Patricia, she was truly a gem of hospitality
Filling drinks, clearing bowls & wrapping up our carryout-​leftovers.
And this place is CLEAN & very Modern, plus it provided a cool vibe, where I felt like I was out of town & on vacation, which I was, but making that happen is way too cool!
And a rarity in soca, free parking out back, with a rear entrance.

I stopped in here to grab some lunch and whoa the waitress was definitely having an off day. She seemed a bit annoyed that I didn’t know what I wanted to order when she came over to me. It was my first time and was indecisive on a couple items on the menu. I ended up getting the chicken banh mi sandwich combo, and honestly the chicken was a bit dry but the fries were pretty tasty. Not too crazy about this place, but maybe it was the vibe I got from my interaction with the waitress.
Hope everyone else has better luck than I did.

What I love: they have fresh and delicious phở. The waitress/​cashier was very kind and smiley. My friend forgot her phone, and thought she will never seen it again, but the waitress gave us.
What I dislike: In and out of that café was smelling like a trash. The restroom was very dirty. In my salad we found hair.

All it takes is a little «Here comes the rain again» on the radio and a limitless flood of memories take me back to rainy Days in my hometown in the OC.
A rainy day sent me on a journey to Little Saigon in the heart of the OC to feast on some Asian soul food, aka Phở (pronounced Fah not FOH) is my favorite rainy day soup (2^nd after Thai noodle house Sanamuualang’s in Hollywood Tom Ka Gai which I could eat everyday).
I was raised on Bruce Lee, Kung Foo, and acupuncture, as my father, being a world class PhD. In Oriental medicine — he exposed me to all things Asian early on, including really great food.
It was a treat to find Phở Ga here in Atwater Village, as my fellow Angelinos will contest, we have a barrage of Ramen Houses, Korean BBQ & Great Sushi, but are
severely Phở challenged.
So order the Phở Ga and be pleasantly surprised by the freshness of the chicken and all the ingredients were authentic and just what the weatherman ordered.

I love Asian food and especially Vietnamese food. This is probably the worst Vietnamese restaurant I ever got take out from. The service was great. Polite, friendly, and got the order done correctly — so kudos on that.
The food, however, was a nightmare. I had the bun with pork. The pork was all fatty meat and grisly. I couldn’t eat any of it. The noodles were fine but the greens that came on the side were boring, tasteless, and not that fresh. The egg rolls were fine, but it’s hard to screw up a fried appetizer.
This place pales in comparison to viet places on sawtelle or anywhere else in LA
