Hairstylist Irene Legaspi

I’ve been going to Irene for quite a while now — her cuts and color are amazing! She’s so good I convinced my husband to start seeing her. He loves the haircuts he gets from Irene as well. She’s professional and a joy to be around.

Irene is the best. She is a hair artist. Every time I cheated on her and went to a different stylist I regretted it, and always came back for her to fix my hair. Best brazilian blowout, color and cut. I moved to Norcal but will be back in LA and will definitely go back to her.

I am getting my hair done by Irene now for more than 3 years and I love it every time. Besides doing my hair she is giving me also a lot of tips around downtown L.A. since I moved there 3 years ago from Germany.

I have been going to Irene for years! She is INCREDIBLE at cutting and color! I now live in the bay area but I wait until my trips to Los Angeles to get my hair done right! I came in a few months ago to do something new that I was a little nervous about, bayalage. I’ve never dyed my hair except for demi– permanent (also with Irene, and also amazing). Irene did an AMAZing job and I loooove it! She really took her time and really made the color look natural and a smooth transition to lighter! It keeps getting better and better with time as well! I plan on going brunette this summer and I will definitely be making a trip out to see her again! Thanks Irene! You really are the best!

I know Irene from Orange County, 8 years ago a friend recommended her. She’s really amazing with hair. After she moved to Los Angeles, I went to other Salons here in orange county I wasn’t happy at all. I rather drive to LA to see Irene its so worth it. Irene is so amazing I drive from Orange County to LA to see her. When I first started going to Irene my hair was in horrible condition. It had been ombré and in the process the color damage was incredibly bad. My hair was thin, breaking, and basically destroyed. I found Irene through a friend who had amazing long full hair. Irene told me what products I needed to use and how to care for my hair, the best part she was completely honest. She is the only stylist I have been to that does not chop off my hair each time I get a trim.
Her color is amazing! I have really dark brown hair and she has made me super blonde without it looking grey or white, it’s an actual color! I get compliments on my hair color all the time.
I recently started getting Brazilian Blowouts with Irene as well, and it has been a game changer, everyday is a good hair day. I have never loved my hair so much as I have in the past 2.5 years with Irene. Also Irene is so sweet and patient with me, I am an extremely high maintenance client. My only complaint is that I wish she was closer to me, but in all honesty even I moved across country I would still find a way to go to Irene!

I am very picky. I have been to a ton of hairdressers not because I grow tired of them but they do not want to deal with me again. «Take an inch more off» then «no its too short, what do we do???» is my usual MO.
I have gone through every style long, short, shaved you name it and I like to change it up every month or so.
That being said, Irene really understands customer service. Rather than simply drowning me out she runs me through the pros and cons of each suggestion and ultimately leads me to the perfect style for my look of the week.
Whether a 60’s styled Beatles cut or a modern fade, Irene has a knack for the scissors.

I went to see Irene for a cut and color. She is amazing!!! I have never had a better haircut! I have been searching for her my whole life! It was as though she could read my mind! I met Irene over the weekend when she styled my hair for my best friend’s wedding. I was really happy with how she styled my hair and while chatting with her that day, it was obvious that she really knew her stuff. I was so impressed with her that I booked her for a cut & color today.
When I went in today, I really had no idea what I wanted. I had been wearing my hair in a bun for months because I had a balayage that was majorly growing out, and my previous haircut by a different stylist was so thinned out that I had a weird tail almost down to my waist and everything else was shaggy. Plus, I had started cutting my own bangs because I couldn’t trust my old stylist. It was bad. I didn’t know what I wanted, but I knew I needed a change.
Irene took her time examining my hair and asking me questions of what I wanted. She sat with me and showed me different color options and was so patient when I still couldn’t decide. I decided to trust her expertise and we went with a chocolate hue for the fall season, which could easily be changed to a lighter balayage next spring if I wanted. We chatted while she got to work on my color first, then the cut. When she was done, I couldn’t be happier with the results — I love my darker, rich color and my cut is perfect! She managed to salvage the length while making my hair beautifully layered with tons of movement and volume.
Go see Irene! She’s incredibly sweet, lovely, and stylish and she will work wonders on your hair. She’s definitely made a repeat customer out of me.
