Mexican Thread & Yarn

This is a large warehouse site, the commercial metal shelves are loaded from the floor to ceiling with yarn, sold in bulk form, from 4 to 12 packs. The colors are bright and vibrant, and most of what I saw was medium weight yarn. There are no prices mentioned and I didn’t seen a color coded system, maybe I just over looked it.
I was interested in a specific type of yarn, almost a plastic yarn, from Mexico, to finish a project a friend’s grandmother had left behind when she returned to Mexico. I had searched over the Internet and didn’t find it, searched here locally in the Valley and couldn’t find it, so
when I searched LA, this place came up.
I walked and to my right was a office with three Hispanic ladies sitting behind the glass and one came out and asked if I knew what I wanted, when I described the yarn to her, she took me right to the shelf with every color imaginable. 16 in the pack for $ 18, that’s decent price, however, I now have more than enough for this project and probably a couple more.
Cool colors, nice selection, not a high quality yarn store, but for simple projects, great selection and prices, but bulk prices, so come with your project list for sure.
