The neighborhood and the outside are deciving. Gives the appearance of a burger stand. Inside, it is a very stylish upscale restaurant with table service. The turkey burger is one of the best. The fried goat cheese really is the pièce de résistance. I highly recommend this place as a gourmet burger destination restaurant.

This little burger joint is delicious. The only thing I would improve on would be the variety of side options. Other than that, it was a very flavorful, high-quality burger.

The burgers here are pretty amazing! We tried The Italian and The Pepper burger along with sweet potato fries which were great as well! The service was great too! Definitely coming back here :)

I love burgers! Finally I got to try this place! The place is nice, and they have pictures of their burgers. I got the chili cheese fries and noir burger. The chili cheese fries is spicy! The noir burger is the bomb! The meat is juicy, a lot of flavors and the bun is so soft too! Super yummy! I will definitely come back and try their different burger. :)

We went yesterday and a huge cockroach was literally crawling on a customer at the next table over. She was totally grossed out and understandably cancled her order. The waitress gave her an attitude about it. Now on to my own personal experience, the place wasn’t very crowded and the food took forever to arrive –25 minutes, I could of cooked burgers faster at home– My husband had the gaucho salad it was ok, the steak was tough and chewy, but the dressing was yummy. I will not return or suggest this place to amyone.

We drove by on a Wednesday afternoon and we decided to give it a try. I had the Beef Wrap and my husband had the pepper Burger with fries. Everything was so fresh, simple and flavorful. I loved the fact that their burger wasn’t loaded with sauces or felt too greasy, same with my wrap. The little side salad was delicious too. Service was prompt and courteous. We’re coming back for more soon!

Came to grab dinner with friends and was pleased with the burgers here. With«Fusion» in the title, I expected a good mix of flavors and they delivered on it. Three burgers(Noir, Mexican BBQ, and Sir Pork’s-A-Lot) were ordered as well as a side of chili cheese fries and cheese tosos. I really enjoyed the chili cheese fries. The chili had a small kick to it and it may have just been me but I got somewhat of a beer flavor from the chili that was pretty good. The cheese tosos were crunchy… not alot of cheese in them but good. The tosos went best with a jalapeño aioli that was given on the side for dipping. For the burgers, the Noir was the juiciest of the three. It was dripping with a wine sauce and had lots of truffle cheese. Very tasty. The Mexican BBQ burger reminded of both Korean BBQ and al pastor with pineapple due to the meat containing a mix of beef and al pastor. Not too sweet so you get more of the savory. I also noticed the burger had no cheese towards the end. I love cheese on my burgers so a burger that can satisfy me without cheese is a winner in my book. Last, the Sir Pork’s-A-Lot contained a pork patty. The burger was juicy, cheesy and had a paprika aioli that went really well with the pork meat. There was also oven dried tomatoes on the burger but I didn’t really notice its flavor as the taste from the aioli stood out more. With all the other burgers on the menu, I can say I’ll be making my way back for more. Good burgers, good fries and great service. Dinner 5÷22÷2016

Been hearing the rave that this joint is comparable to umami burger so I had to try it(I don’t like umami burger FYI). Everyone who raves about this place is semi correct about that statement though. Burger fusion is way more flavorful than umami burger. The only thing is. I’m not sure if the quality is comparable. I ordered the Noir burger(10 $ ish) and my beef patty was overcooked/chewy. I’m guessing their patties are defrosted then cooked. Meh for freshness but A+ for flavor. Also, def request for their garlic aioli sauce! Super bomb. The cheese torso are a must have if you go. They’re technically cheesy potato balls! The sweet potato fries, I would pass on it; they sprinkle sugar on it which I didn’t like. Also. This place isn’t super fancy; it’s really casual being that it’s located in highland park. I don’t mind since I enjoy supporting small local businesses! However, it was super empty on a Wednesday around 2pm. My BF and I were the only ones eating by the time our food came out. Then one of the workers decided to sweep the floors while we ate. Uhhh. Lmao smh.

Decent burgers and good service. When I came with my boyfriend, it was really dead. We ate alone in the restaurant with the one waitress which was kind of awkward. She was really nice and friendly though. This place seemed like more people prefer take out. Burger was definitely not bad but it wasn’t out of this world or anything. Also portions are a bit small for the price but I wouldn’t mind coming back one day.

Stumbled across Fusion Burger and boy am I glad we did. First of all, the parking lot is small but luckily we went on a Monday and there were only a few people there. We were greeted and told we could sit anywhere. The service here went beyond my expectation. I felt welcomed and that they actually cared that I had a pleasant experience. We ordered the Classic burger and the Noir burger. Both were absolutely delicious! I mean my eyes were totally bigger than my stomach. For a side, we ordered the Chese Tosos. I also had a strawberry shake. Boy was I full after! Everything was wonderful. I totally recommend this place. If you’re not close, it’s totally worth the drive in my opinion.

Burger crew meeting called to order on Monday, October 26, 2016 at 7pm(Sumana’s pick). Members in attendance: Angela d., Sumana S., Trevor Y., Wayne T., and Dennis K. I. Ordering Trevor and I got the Mexican BBQ burger(House blend Al Pastor beef patty, aioli, grilled pineapple, caramelized onions and boston lettuce — $ 9) Sumana and Wayne each got the Pepper burger(Beef patty, Aioli, roasted pepper, pepper jack cheese, oven dried tomato, and Boston lettuce — $ 9.50). Dennis got the House burger(Beef patty, 1000 Island, Boston lettuce, oven dried tomatoes, pancetta, and yellow cheddar cheese — $ 9.60). We also got the cheese tosos(which were basically cheesy tater tots — $ 3.50), the sweet potato fries($.2.50), and the natural cut fries($ 2.50). II. The burgers The burgers were really juicy. Trevor and I could really taste the al pastor in the burger, but it was not that beefy. Dennis’ house burger had pancetta, which had a good texture but was too salty. The buns were good! They were buttery, had sesame seeds, and really held up to the juicy burger patties. The pepper burger was peppery(as expected), but the meat fell apart a little bit. The burgers were all cooked to order and they had a good sear on them. III. The fries The fries were all good. They had great ketchup. They also gave us jalapeño sauce and aioli, which were both really yummy! The tosos were really yummy, but a little too potatoey for me. IV. Miscellaneous My fellow burger crew members were very excited about the type of ice they have at Fusion. It is the softer ice that sort of looks like little pellets, which apparently is rare to find. They have Mexican coke, which is a great accompaniment to burgers. They have a parking lot, but there is also street parking available. They weren’t all that busy. They have both indoor and outdoor parking. V. Value Value is okay, but above average. The burgers were small-ish, but are relatively cheaper than other LA burgers. VI. The verdict Trevor and my burger wasn’t great, but it may be user error. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their burgers more. Ratings: 3.1, 3.3, 3.8, 3.8, and 3.9 Next burger crew meeting: November 23, 2015 at 7pm Location: Trevor’s pick — Burgerlords, Chinatown.

THEAMBIANCE: Fusion Burgers is located in Highland Park in a corner with a small plaza. My friend told me that it used to be a bad Mexican food spot turned into a cute burger joint. There are burger photos on the walls, a large television, a one-stall bathroom, an outside patio, and the menu is both written on a whiteboard in chalk and delivered to you in a small, cute(again) fold-up menu. THEBURGER: Let me just start off by saying that Fusion Burgers is WAY better than Umami Burger. I’ve been to Umami Burger twice and I am not a fan. I tried the Noir Burger cooked medium(Beef Patty, Aioli, Boschetto A La Tartufo(Truffle Cheese), Pinot Noir Sauce) and I was definitely wow-ed. It was delicious. The bun didn’t get soggy even though the patty and the Pinot Noir Sauce made it juicy. The flavor was there. I ordered a side of fries and tried some of my friend’s sweet potato fries. The fries are regular fries(I am a big fan of the fries at The York) and the sweet potato fries were really good. I really enjoyed my lunch today. THETIPS: There are some parking spots in the plaza. I parked on the street for free. The onion rings are the«beer battered» kind rather than the«crispy-breaded» kind. From past experience I am not a big fan of the beer battered onion rings but because I loved the burger I might give them a shot next time I visit. Also, hoping Fusion Burgers gets a beer license. It would have been glorious.

So, I wrongly assumed the buns were vegan since they are offered with the vegan burger. I just double checked based on other reviews and called the restaurant. They have no vegan buns, but offer a lettuce wrap. But you still have to pay $ 10 — more than the non-vegan burgers. I can tell when my patronage is not wanted somewhere. Good bye.

This place quickly has become the favorite burger joint for my boyfriend and I since I recently moved to Highland Park. They’re quick with the food whether you dine in or order delivery and it is cooked to perfection everytime. The burgers are so succulent that you don’t want to bite into them because once you do, you can’t put it down. When I say these burgers are delicious, it doesn’t even do them justice! It’s a hidden little gem so don’t be fooled by the outside. It’s well worth the price or the drive if you’re an out of towner. The wait staff and the delivery men are all very friendly.

Definitely the place to go for everyone willing to try out a delicious gourmet burguer, the variety on the menu its pretty wide ranging from pastor, turkey and vegetarian just to mention a few. They have a good variety of original recipe. A different types of fries and onion rings are a must, the staff is pretty friendly and always on time, the atmosphere pretty chill and the place extremely clean, not ur typical burguer joint. This is actually the key spot to hit whenever your willing to indulge yourself a delicious gourmet burguer.

I am a big burger fan and love trying new burger joints. This place had a lot of unique choices to try. The buns were not the average bun but upgraded which were nice. The flavor was good, but I felt it was a little under cooked, maybe I should have just asked for medium. The fries were great and came with a delicious garlic mayo type dip which I couldn’t get e enough of. The restaurant was clean and nice and had a TV to watch the game. They also have a parking lot which was wide open. The waitress was very nice. The short story here is come here if you want a solid burger with ingredients you probably have not tried elsewhere.

The name Fusion Burger is somewhat misleading. When you hear the word fusion nowadays you would go to a restaurant that mixes different cuisines together like Mexican food and Asian food. Fusion Burger doesn’t really do that. Some of the topping and ingredients are different, but it’s still a burger bun and meat. Adding a pineapple and calling it fusion burger isn’t creative because Island’s does the same thing and calls it a Hawaiian burger. If you take their burgers down to it’s core ingredients you will have a solid burger. I ordered mine medium rare and it came medium rare and it was juicy. I ordered the Hanbaga and my friend had the Mexican BBQ. I took a bite from both to compare and I could not tell the difference between the two. They both tasted practically the same except one had mushrooms and the other had pineapple. There in lies the problem. As good as the burger was there was nothing special that differentiates their burger from any other burger spot. I can get the same thing and Umami or Bachi or Stout. All those places I would go to over Fusion Burger. On a positive note I did really enjoy the Cheesy Fritters. Crispy on the outside and oozing with cheese on the inside. These are a must try. Of you are looking for something that’s in every sense of the word fusion I would check out Bachi Burger.

Great little burger joint in the highland park area. They serve gourmet burgers that are similar to umami burger but better. Service was decent. Environment is casual and friendly. There is a small parking lot but plenty of street parking. Burgers are tasty and flavorful. I ordered the Dan inferno burger and OHMY! My mouth was on fire but OH so frigging good. I will definitely order it again. Another favorite is the Mexican BBQ burger served with al pastor meat, grilled pineapples, caramelized onions, and aioli. Damn mouthwatering deliciousness. All their menu items sound so delicious. Now I’m craving me some good gourmet burgers. It’s definitely time for me to come back here. Need to satisfy these cravngs. So do yourself a favor and come out here and try their burgers. You won’t believe it till you try it. I know I will be back and try every gourmet burger on the menu. So worth it!

This place really confuses me. They serve gourmet burgers with a menu that has a casual hipster feel. However the table setting and menu given to us was that of a more formal dining setting. It kind of felt like this place was having an identity crisis. I got the Hanbanga burger and it was bland. Cheesy tots were yummy but they were tiny. It was also served on a dining plate that looked like there was suppose to be appetizer plates with it but there wasn’t. Customer service was very good and the restaurant and restrooms were clean. I heard a lot of great things about their shakes. So I was excited and got a strawberry shake. When I drank it it was more of a smoothie. Consistency was thin with ice flakes floating throughout. I also got a hint of pineapple(which I don’t like). Love the concept but sadly it wasn’t working for me.

Great burger place that serves Umami-like burgers but in bigger portions and cheaper prices. The service is ok. The host and waitress are really nice but can be slow when they are busy or when it’s during an off peak time. I’ve noticed that a lot of people order their burgers to-go. What I’ve tried: *Dan’s Inferno Burger — Good for people who like jalapeños and spiciness! *Mexican BBQ Burger — Good flavors and love the grilled pineapple! *Cheese Tosos(Cheesy tater tots) — Yummy! *French fries — Crispy! Love the garlic aioli! There’s free parking in the lot. I’ll definitely be back when I’m craving a burger!
