I don’t think anyone has cheaper prices than Food4Less, and this location is one of their better ones. It has a full service butcher counter, a few like the one in El Sereno don’t, all those have is a limited selection of prepackaged meat. If you need ten pounds of ribs, or any other large amount of meat you are out of luck. I don’t think any market has everything I need, or want, so I don’t blame Food4Less for that. I get my sodas at Ralph’s because they have enough of what I drink, Coca Cola Zero. I haven’t found any other market that stocks enough for my needs. I usually buy every pack of Coca Cola Zero they have. Kroger owns Ralphs and Food4Less, so you know you’re shopping at a stable major player in the grocery business. I buy a lot of frozen chicken, the cheapest kind anywhere comes in ten pound packages of chicken thighs. The same package is $ 8.99 at Ralph’s and Albertsons. But as low as $ 3.12 at Food4Less. The price varies, some times almost as high as at the competition, but usually much lower. A lot of low income people depend on this frozen chicken to keep food on the table. I have always been pleased by the kuality. I see complaints about the cashiers. I have never had any bad experiences, but I always say good morning first with a smile on my face. If you come in looking like a sour puss you might get that in return. Not good business, of course. But that’s human nature, if you’re nasty to someone they will be nasty back at you. True, the large parking lot is usually full, but there is a constant turnover. Cars are always coming, and going.

Food 4 less will always be classic bc i get nostalgia from childhood memories coming here with my mom. I think food 4 less will always be the king of low prices when it comes to grocery stores. People say that Ralph’s has the freshest produce but muda fucka did you know that they’re both owned by Kroger so you can expect quality from both so booyah! Everybody does their part at food 4 less, from the dudes pushing the shopping carts back in place to the cashiers greeting you very friendly. It doesn’t get any better than good ol’ food 4 less. Bow down to the true pimp

As an experience cashier, I know what brings back the customers. This morning around 8 am I go shop for some groceries at check out time, my cashiers name Mary didn’t greet me didn’t even look at me just rush through my merchandise and didn’t even ask me if I would like a bag. I was purchasing wic, so I get free bags. Her attitude look like she didn’t want to be their, no smile what so ever. Bad customer service. The manager should really work on their cashiers being more welcoming to the store. Mary if you don’t like your job find another one, or if you have personal problems leave them at home.

I was dissatisfied with the aggressive & unprofessional behavior of the checkout associate«Cindy R». She was rude, and not very engaging at all. There was an item that I had changed my mind on purchasing, and I reached to put it down on the shelves near the top of the magazine’s, and«Cindy R» got upset and blurted out loud to my fiancé and I «Hey! No! That doesn’t go there. Put that can over there on the checkout stand behind you. Don’t leave things you put back laying around like that»! I was shocked, I was bothered, I was so so surprised because of all my years grocery shopping & dealing with the public myself, nothing like that has ever happended to me, let alone have I ever experienced an unethical & unprofessional individual who was employed by «ANY» company. I felt the need to speak with a manager, but she claims her manager was unavailable. Also, I had realized I had a coupon for 0.25 that was part of my grocery order, and instead of scanning it «Cindy R» said to me: «No it’s too late to scan the coupon, you’ve already slide your credit card!», so she walked away unannounced to returned and gave me my 0.25 in the form of a coin. She made my experience HORRIBLE. No! I would not return to this store, actually I’ll continue and happily spend my money at another grocer like Albertson’s or Von’s.

Yes, parking here is always a drive through the seventh circle of hell; and yes, there are always peddlers in the parking lot bumping their music as if we were in the outskirts of some lost town in Alabama. Also, due to its location, it is not uncommon to bump into cowboys and gangsters at every aisle. Nevertheless, I like this market because of the bottom line– saves me tons of money for food and stuff that would cost me double elsewhere. Isn’t that what it’s all about in the end? The fruit is good and fresh, and everything else is great. I occasionally buy fish ceviche and crab salad from here, which is really good. When I go, I get what I need, pay, get out. enjoy at home.

Stop at this store from time to time when im in the area. Pretty big store, which i like. Usually pretty clean, and the lines move quick. Only thing i dont like is the small parking lot, which occupies a CVS and chinese food place on the same lot. Ive also noticed a good mexican seafood restaurant right across the street, and taco vendors around the lot.

So… After being convinced by Ianne and Nestor that Food4Less will save me tons of bucks as compared to my beloved Ralph’s in Downtown, I finally decided to give it a go. Let’s start with parking. It was ANNOYING! It seemed like Food4less goers do not know how to drive, much less, PARK! Also, there were so many idling vehicles blocking the way because they were buying pirated DVDs from these punk peddlers that hawk their goods in the Food4Less parking lot. The selection wasn’t great. But boy, were they cheap. I was able to buy sodas, drinks, snacks, toiletries, and cleaning stuff that would last me about a month, for only $ 120! However, I still opted to buy my produce from Ralph’s. Off to Ralph’s I went, and spent $ 70 on just produce and cheesecake. Wtf? Not very cheap as compared to Food 4 Less. So would I go back to Food 4 Less? I think yes. But I still prefer Walmart.
