Best asada ever! If it’s a holiday get there early because there will be a long line. I’ve waiting for a hour just to get this mean, but it was worth it!!!

Not a huge fan of the meat I had better thru El Super. I’m very picky when it comes to grilling the common meats Asada, Pollo, Al pastor I personally make the commute to La Pradera in El Monte off Santa Anita. The prices here are a lil higher than others the Al Pastor is not even close to how it should be they prepare the meat too salty lesson learned

Best Meat Ever!!! Cuts are fresh, the place is always packed and the staff are on point with their service!!! Best part of all is they marinade the meat as you order it, which means not old marinated meat. And a huge plus is a do so after they weigh the meat!!! They will not rob you on additional marinade weight for pricey cuts like Ranchera!!! Trust me its worth the price!!! Best in East Los…

I grew up two blocks away from Whittier Market and I have never forgotten about the little meat shop with the best cuts in town. I mainly go for the Carne Asada which I ask them to marinate for me. Most average meat shops give you thick fatty cuts of carne asada but not here, Whittier Market has some of the thinnest, leanest cuts I have seen. I will be honest, when I don’t want to make the trip from Norwalk to East LA, I will buy the meat somewhere else and marinate it myself but when I need to bring some to a BBQ and I don’t feel like marinating ten pounds of meat or more, I go back to my old neighborhood. About the neighborhood, this market is in the heart of East LA but this shouldn’t stop you from giving this market a try. If you really are worried of the area, come in the middle of the day and come down Whittier Blvd. Since I grew up in the area, I have no problem using the side streets but even if you do take Whittier Blvd, you are never any more than a few minutes away from the 5 or the 710. When you do make it to the market, you owe it to yourself to try the asada or the marinated pork chops.

The best meat cuts in town! The marinated flank steak and ribs are great. Everything is so fresh and priced right.

Came here during the summer for Ranchera marinated, Cecina also very good, marinated Cornish hens, and chorizo. I first came here after I tried their meat at a friends BBQ. We were hooked the place is always packed, this means you will always get fresh meat, they are constantly replenishing their displays. Also they marinate the meat for you as you order, not old marinated meat sitting around. Worth the wait, worth the drive!

Grew up on downey road and would always get the Carne asada ranchera prepared from here. Best Carne asada in East Los IMO. Have taken it to cook outs in other cities and was always enjoyed and devoured. Even taken it to Arizona and was the talk of the weekend… awesome place.

Bomb Ass Carne Asada!!! This establishment was recommended to me by a good friend. I have came here and purchased their fine Carne Asada a few times. The location is in a little bit of a shaddy place to be. Its in the heart of East Los Angeles and please don’t try and show up at night. If you do please bring someone with you that will defend you form the unknown peeps hanging around the hood. Come early in the day and enjoy some amazing Carne Asada marinated in some very delish concocion. I personally can’t wait till spring time comes around, so I may go and get me some meat.

Summer is here, and if you are hosting a bar-b-que for your friends and family. go to Whittier market and get your carne asada or ribs make sure you have them marinate the meat for you… you will have your friends and family talking about how good the meat was… the meat is so fresh since they sell so much… you wont be disappointed…
