Pretty damn inconvenient. It’s 2016, every restaurant in America should be capable of handling more than just old fashioned cash.
I had already selected my order and was ready to pay when they told me they didn’t take plastic. I didn’t want to put them through wasted motions, any more than I wanted to waste my time and effort.
It never occurred to me that they didn’t take credit or ATM cards.
I didn’t have any cash so I had to leave my order, and purchase my meal elsewhere.
I shop next door at Food4Less, so I would be a regular customer here as well if they took plastic. I’m sure Hong Kong Express is losing a lot of business.

I used to love this place especially the noodles. But after today I will never eat here again, we ordered to take home and when we started eating, my father noticed something odd in the noodles we set it on a napkin to look at it better… It was a fucken FRIED SPIDER IN OUR FOOD, you could see the legs and everything. My sister started throwing up after she realized what it was then my mom panicked and got all the food and threw it all away. Very DISGUSTING! I should of taken a picture of it to show you guys!

Holy sweet baby Jesus! I dont know if I always seem hungry, but damn do they serve it up here! My poor container is oozing out noodles and orange chicken of how much they serve. Love this place!!! Best Chinese food in this area! Never had any complaints and I ALWAYS have leftovers.

Best place in boyle heights! They stuff the plate to the point where the lid is struggling to stay put! The orange chicken is the best! I’ve been coming here for the last 10 years I drive from Hollywood for this place. It’s amazing

I used to love this place… it was my favorite growing up but recently they have been skimping out on the food. I ordered chow mein, mushroom chicken, and beef broccoli. The food is good. I’m not knocking the quality of the food but, the quantity. I’m upset that my mushroom chicken had no fucking chicken! What the fuck is that? I didn’t order mushroom vegetables. And the size of those fucking vegatables! Geeez! If I were to grab one of those and toss it at that multilingual Chinese chick that works there I’d probably be charged with 1st degree murder. Also stop sextuple dipping the orange chicken in that batter. Its more batter than chicken… I’ve actually had one that was just batter… and one time I got a peanut inside what is suppose to be orange chicken!
