This is actually a damn good burger. The Westwood location is a bit of a dump, but the burger delivers. Made to order, customize it how you want, big and small options, good fries(not great). For me, better than In n Out, right there with Fatburger, reminds me most of Pie’n’Burger in Pasadena.

Not my favortie burger, but not much else to eat around this once bustling village(in the 90’s spent a good portion of my teen years here, good memories). Now its like a ghost town with a bizarre parking structure and boarded up «for lease» stores, too many. Sad. I’m just not a fan of their fries, nor In N Outs, their just weird. Soggy, oily, limp texture. Taste is good but I like crisp stand-alone fries like Habit Burger(the best fries anywhere by a landslide). As for the burger… their patties seem to crumble and fall apart. Mine was still pink inside too. Overall taste is fine, nothing mind blowing, just a burger. Nice that you can pick a bunch of toppings but too much and the flavors mix you cant taste anything. Stale salted-to-death peanuts at your disposal. This location had very friendly customer service at the register, I must say though. Wish they had chili as a topping, that would be the shit.

Came after class today because I was craving a really good burger and 5 Guys nailed it! Place was clean, line moved quickly, and it took about 10 mins for us to get our hot and juicy burgers! You can park in the lot across the street, 2 hours are free!

Female cashier working at 2:24 pm. Learn basic etiquette. Leaning on the counter with her shoulder towards me without even facing me, «what do you wanna get?» First impression right as I walk in, nailed it(sarcasm). Way to make me want to cancel my order and go to the 20 other spots in westwood. If you don’t enjoy your job, quit and find another that suits your interests and your weak attitude.

I’ve been to other Five Guys locations before and this was my first time getting a full meal at the Westwood spot. I don’t remember the staff being so frazzled as at this location. The guy taking orders was too busy helping with the food prep that he couldn’t take my order right away, which I didn’t mind because I wasn’t in a hurry. But… I was the only person in line. When he came to take my order he asked me how I was doing and seemed out of breath. And he almost got my order wrong because of the noise in the kitchen. My food came and the burger was expectedly meaty and stacked with toppings. The fries were crisp, hot, and nicely spiced with Cajun seasonings. Overall it was a good experience, but I think this Five Guys should consider increasing its staff and streamlining the food and ordering process so that its employees are more focused and relaxed.

Perfect for anyone craving your typical«American outdoor barbecue» style burger with store-bought buns and smothered in ketchup and mustard in an attempt to mask the overly dry patty. There is literally nothing special about Five Guys burgers and eating one will remind you of the burgers you order at sports events to hold you over until you can leave the event and get some real food. Fries are whack, too.

Every once in a while I go out for a burger and fries. This location is not kept clean at all. The tables outside are filthy. The new Coke machines were half empty. The buns are soggy and chewy and soft and gross. The meat had no flavor. The whole experience was unsatisfying.

My African American friend and I went in to try their fries when the worker/manager on the location on Ventura in Sherman Oaks said they were not taking any more orders because they were behind. I’ve never heard a business turn someone down. We went outside to sit for a minute and asked others if they had problems ordering. They said they waited 40 minutes for their order. Then we saw someone walk in and order food. I have a hard time not thinking the manager was being discriminatory. I’ll never go back.. and I love fries.

First time in Five Guys, I ordered a cheese burger, and I got a cheese burger without any additional ingredient. It’s more reasonable if I ordered a burger with default ingredient, or at least give me a hint to choose. No next time.

I’m a total burger guy(I literally hope my last meal is a cheeseburger with fries) and I’m really surprised to see a 3 stars rating for Five Guys. Five Guys in general has the BEST Burgers!(I think it destroys In-n-Out hands down) Their burgers are a little on the small side, but the flavor is on point! Also, they use peanut oil to cook their french fries(same as Chick-fil-a) which is the best! If you love old school, no frills, tasty burgers and natural cut fries, you will love Five Guys!

i am a fan. the burgers are good and you can customize them nearly any way you want. fries can feed two easily and you get free peanuts. plus if you dine in they got one of those machines that can do hundreds of combinations.

Ok, the burgers ok, sloppy(which I don’t like) mustard and ketchup on the wrapper. primary reason I wouldn’t come back to eat inside, the shouting and screaming of orders.

Lily was amazing. We were greeted like family, offered suggestions tailored to our preferences then promptly served a handcrafted meal made with love and the taste to prove it. Also the guy who made fries made us laugh. We’ll be back and hopefully we’ll see our favorite Five Guys Manager again, the one and only Lily!

The first Five Guys I ever tried was in Boston in 2006. I don’t think that Five Guys had arrived in California yet. All I could remember from the burger joint in Boston was that the fries were amazing: thick, soft, but also with a decent crunch on the ends of the fries. 9 years later… There’s a Five Guys 2 blocks away from my house. My friend said it was pretty good. Friday night… everyone’s busy… I want a quiet night alone… takeout burger and fries sounded fantastic. The difference between the Littie Burger and Big Burger is number of patties. The little burger I had was actually very hefty for 4.39. The bread was thick, there was a variety of veggies, but they were a little soggy from all the various sauces/condiments. Still good nonetheless, but not at the same caliber as In-N-Out. My Little Burger ended up falling apart from the messiness. Fries(3.89) were just how I had remembered — thick, soft, but with decent crunch on the tops and bottoms. For the record, there are 3 different sizes, small, regular large. The small cup looks tiny, so I went with regular. While looking on the calories part of the menu, it said the regular french fries were 1300 calories!!! I found that unbelievable. I kind of believe it now — they serve you way more french fries than that little cup. Basically the size of 2 cups. It was way more french fries than I had anticipated, and I couldn’t even finish them. I have a whole cup of leftovers! Meal came out to 9.00. I would say In-N-Out quality is better. Sometimes though, although I leave In-N-Out very satisfied, I sometimes don’t leave full — like I could eat another french fries or so. But at Five Guys, I definitely left very full and with leftovers. If I ever have the drunchies, I’ll definitely stop in to Five Guys for some 1300 calorie french fries, just sayin’.

Feel like having a burger with many potential toppings? Then Five Guys is the place for you. Not bad, really. It’s expensive and not as good as In ‘N Out but sometimes we have silly desires. My particular toppings are mayo, lettuce, raw onions, grilled mushrooms and. .. I think that’s it. But they have many more choices like the usual pickles, tomatoes, and the not-so-usual like green peppers, jalapeño peppers and A-1 Steak Sauce. I think I’ll have some of the latter next time. The place is spacious with lots of vacant seats. Good customer service too. Oh, and yes, complimentary peanuts as well.

I’m giving this place 3.5 stars, but the fact that In-N-Out and Chipotle are right around the corner bumps it down to 3. Sorry not sorry! Anyways, burgers here are pretty good. However, they are expensive compared to other fast food burger joints. The bacon cheeseburger is 8 dollars! I like how you can choose from a wide variety of toppings, and also their fries are humongous. I come here when I need some nuts in my mouth. Free nuts ;)

This place reminds me of Fatburger — good, but overpriced, nothing unique or spectacular. Got the cajun fries and little bacon burger. It was good, but would rather go to In and Out, Chik fil A, or splurge on a really expensive burger at The Counter or Rustic Canyon. Love the free peanuts and fun neighborhood. Street parking or structure. The structure is flat $ 3 after 6pm.

I gotta say, this place does one thing and one thing well. And that’s burgers. Came in just before closing, they didn’t care, rolled with it no problem. Scored me a little bacon cheeseburger with jalapeños, no mayo. And ordered it with the lettuce wrap, but felt weird about calling for«protein style», like that would have crossed some kind if line, like ordering a Big Mac at Burger King… Food came up in a few minutes, and was cheesy, bacony goodness. And without the bun or mayo, it felt reasonably healthy. For $ 6 it’s a good fix for my bacon-meat-cheese needs, and is a definite go-to place for it. Only thing is they close at 10pm, so no late-night eats here.

Excelente hamburguesa, ración enorme, no te quedaras con hambre. Servicio muy rápido y calidad mas que aceptable. No se puede pedir mas a un fast food.
