Wow horrible horrible Pupusas masa is raw the horchata is not salvadorean and it’s way too sweet it’s not a good place to eat I wasted my money

Let’s begin with the name, why would a restaurant be called El Vencedor, «the victor»?
As we walked in, the heat was unbearable (no A/​C!), and the industrial fan competed with the jukebox in making the most noise. While perusing the menu I happened to look at a door sign that said: «Restroom for Employees only — Health Department.» Really?
The pupusas were extra large, which was disappointing when I took the first bite. The amount of dough was excessive and the filling was nothing like real pupusas from El Salvador. We ordered a shrimp cocktail, but the waitress said they had run out of shrimp. Unbelievable.
Would I come back, or even recommend this place?
Not a chance.
