El Pollo Loco

Order is consistently incorrect and the wait time here around 6pm-​7pm is awful. Not worth it. They really need to get it together at this location.
Management: staff up for dinner time, and quality control the orders. Easy fix.

Went here to get some gift cards through the drive-​thru. Mind you, this was New Years day there wasn’t anyone in the drive-​thru. They told me I have to come inside. They said they don’t give out gift cards through the drive thru. What! I have never had a problem in the past. I did contact them and ask them, «has their policy changed», I got no response. How unprofessional.

This place is across the street from me so I’m here a few times a week, and they can never get an order right. Something is always missing, so check your bag before you leave the window. Every time.

This is my go to spot. The food here is always fresh because they are so busy. Let me restate that… the chicken and tostada is always fresh. I probably eat here at least twice a week.
Do note– the prices at El Pollo have gone up by a dollar.

The place is decent with some good food. But you know it’s a typical fast food chain restaurant so it beats some crappy places but nothing too spectacular.
It’s healthy which is a plus and the workers seem decent. Not sure what else to say about this

Pollo loco is one of my favorite places. Unfortunately, this location is the closet one to me:
They very frequently mess up my order, forget things I ordered, or take forever to get my order ready. Aside from that, food is great!

All very tasty and affordable. Chicken is very tasty, but sometimes it would cost, and update the menu :)

Best pollo loco ever! I work in the area so I come here quite often. Everyone that works here is friendly and always has a smile on their face. it’s friendly and always have a smile on your face. This place is so busy and they keep everything fresh.

The El Pollo Loco at this location is always a pleasure to visit — and I’m oridnarily not the most complimentary person you’ll meet or a major Unilocalie, necessarily. It’s one of the only places I prefer to get out of my car and go inside to order and pick up. The customer service is the best in Los Angeles … their staff and managers are notably friendly and helpful. And it seems to be consistent, not just luck of the draw. I don’t stop for take-​out often, but when I do this is my first choice. Excellent job!

Reason why I rated 2 stars is because of that hair you guys added as a bonus on my mashed potatoes. staff is friendly just be more aware when you serve food.

This El Pollo Loco has the BEST god damn staff! I’m so happy with their service, ethic and conversation every time I go there. If they had a tip jar I’d tip any time I passed by. A big thanks to all those awesome people.

Haven’t been back to this location in over a year. I was afraid to come back because we had super bad service twice. The first was just a horrible mess and hey messed up my entire order thru drive thru. They called me to rectify problem by comping my next mean and even thought our food was free the customer service was slow and rude.
Had time to kill waiting for a prescription to be filled and we were hungry. Decided to go back and was expecting a bad experience… it was busy (last time this was a huge part of the problem) I was bracing myself … Lol… To my surprise the two employees on the register were on it! Taking and repeating orders carefully and moving he line along fast but courteously. Waiting for our food we hear great communication from cooks and drive thru window… No confusion, no freaking out, no disorganization. The were in a flow. Everyone now and then someone would say «welcome to pollo loco» and he employees would randomly yell «welcome»… Cheesy but kinda cool. Just showed focus and attentiveness.
Why am I writing a crazy long detailed review for pollo loco… Because I have witnessed the crazy, unhappy and unorganized version of this store and vowed to never return. After today, whatever changes were made (or whoever) was in great success of this place. I will definitely come back and also tell my friends it safe to return :). Great experience. Noticeable positive change! Good job!

You know what El Pollo loco food is. So no point reviewing the Chipotle Chicken Burrito, which was great. The service here is outstanding compared to the other El Pollo Loco restaurants I’ve visited. They hold the door for you, they bring food to your table, the bathrooms are well kept, they great you at the register very friendly and love saying they’re doing «Excellente!» — you almost ask yourself if you’re on a hidden camera. It’s easy to lump quick service restaurants into a category with low expectations, so I like to recognize one when it stand out. This one did, well done.

Diana is awesome! Seriously, I’m at a fast food place and I’m being treated like I’m at a fancy restaurant in Beverly Hills! Place is super clean and everyone is super friendly. I definitely recommend!!!

Ordered in English but they tried to give me my food in espanol. It was very odd, particularly since they took forever to give me my food — which was the only take out inside. Smh. YAll slacking. I can’t wait t do my survey!

However, this place has so impressed me by their consistently astounding customer service, that it just seems the right thing to do.
Aside from the fact the food is good, reasonably priced, and made quickly, the whole experience is made so much better by staff that always smiles, looks you in the eye, and greets you as a human being. It’s a list art in most fast food places.
The management has obviously made this a priority and as long as they do, I’ll keep coming back often.

Oh…the grilled chicken salad is a great way to get a delicious low calorie meal. Be sure to hold the dressing. It doesn’t need any because they put pico de gallo in it which makes it flavorful enough. If I’m reading it right, it’s only 230 calories!

I go to this El Pollo Loco from time to time. It’s a popular place, and at times is a nightmare going through the drive-​thru. Cars come from 3 different directions from within the parking lot jockeying for position to enter the drive-​thru. I already know that its going to be a hassle, so I am always prepared to wait. The food tastes like every other El Pollo Loco I have been to. I typically just get the poblano burrito, and I’ll add sides to it if I am feeling really hungry. Besides that, the only thing I have tried and not liked is the mac & cheese. It tastes like rubber to me. The chicken, which is obviously what they are known for, is a great fast food option.
I like El Pollo Loco. It is higher quality fast food than most places. However, I sometimes avoid going here because of how chaotic it gets going through the drive-​thru. If there was another location nearby, I would go there.
