I will never recommend this restaurant if you read this please DONT waist your time We came by with the family to eat here for 4th of july since i was visiting out of town and it was our worst decision ever… The girls here are super rude … We got some pupusas and drinks .we got the horchata tasted like water… we asked the girl nice to please changed it for us and then she got all mad and she brought some sprite… the sprite had no gas we asked to give us water inst and she rolled her f,$#%g eyes at us. the burrito we got smell rotten. the pupusas were greasy and the chicharron tasted bad… we are f%$&ing paying your check you should treat us with respect … Asked for our check and she couldn’t be any more rude and she even laugh… I asked for a manager or owner and the girl in the front said there was no one in charge and no one I could speak to… my response was that explains the shitty service… I feel sorry for the owners this f stupid girls are so ignorant to treat your paying customers like sh! t… Please fire all of them night shift

Giving them one star is being generous. My waitress was completely incompetent. It took her about 20 minutes for her to come ask me what I ordered. In the meantime, customers that arrived way after I did, were being served their food before my family and I. After I saw people being served the same items I ordered, I decided to leave. I didn’t receive any apologies from the restaurant staff. Just dumb blank stares. When I asked why other people were being served before me and if she forgot my order, all she had to say in response was that the food was ready now. Purely inexcusable. Horrible customer service. Will never return or recommend this place to anyone.

The food is great! But the service sucks. I recommend ordering before arriving because it takes a while to get your food and the servers come around once, if that to check if you need anything.

I love me some El Cafetal. Honestly everyone one of their locations does me right. The cheese ones are to die for especially with some green sauce. They have good service and its cool to come watch the game.

My second visit for lunch. Having the carne Asada tacos,. The homemade tortillas put them over the top, overflowing with pure yum. The shock is the price. Way under priced. The down side under staffed. Lots of customers watching Germany. Kill Brazil. Took almost a half to get served.

The bf and I tried this place for the first time on a Sunday afternoon. I was craving Salvadoran food, plantains in particular. I ordered the«Desayuno Mixto» which looked plain at first sight but it turned out to be pretty good. They were generous with their plantain portions, which was a pleasant surprise. My bf ordered the«Huevos Rancheros» which he also liked. Both meals were served with thick handmade tortillas. A significant drawback was the service; they must be understaffed because it took a long time to have our food served and to get the check. Also, my bf’s food was cold by the time we got it. He’s not too picky but warm food should not be too much to ask for. We also ordered a coke which was served in a glass bottle so there were no refills on it. Lastly, the décor was tacky(very Salvadoran) but that’s the least of our worries when trying out hole-in-the-wall places.
