Service is super slow. Took them 30mins to give my order. Not going back there anymore.

I waited 30 minutes for 2 pcs of siopao that’s already supposed to be in that small warmer. after several follow ups, no explanation as to why they cannot give it to me but instead they kept saying ok ok.

I had the meaty soup bowl but I wouldn’t actually call it meaty but more like with meat. It was somewhat good though considering I ate it all. My friend had a dish with fried rice an over easy egg and two choices of meat. Steak and chicken. The steak is thin strips with fat on them which I like for the flavor but some people might not like fatty meat like that. All in all it was a decent meal. The frozen desert drink with ice cream and beans at the bottom is a must try. I would return here if I was in the vicinity.

If u want to wait for 45 minutes for what’s considered as «fast food«then come here. That’s how long it took from time we placed order to when they brought it out. Staff are oblivious! Only 1 person was taking the order, even when the line was already long! To make matters worse, the persons in the kitchen are acting like headless chicken! If you want to eat here, I suggest that there’s only 1 person ahead of you.

My friend and I went here to get our favorite Taho. The cashier Irene took our order at 11:24am and told us that it would be 4 minutes for it to get ready. So we waited and waited. It’s now 11:45am and we noticed that other customers are getting their Taho order even though they just came in. So I asked one of the servers, Joules on what’s causing the delay. He said he’ll get right to it. We are still waiting. Then this girl CHELSEA is getting the order mixed up. It’s really simple– 2 Taho for here and 1 to go. I made the comment«you forgot our order» and lo and behold with supreme ATTITUDE she replied«it’s still being made up» complete with making a face. Very rude, very unprofessional. No apologies coming from her. My friend then asked for more syrup and CHELSEA was even arguing that it’s not free and we have to shell out 50 cents. Okay, that’s fine but she could have asked the manager Rosanna to intervene because right now we are really pissed at her. No wonder, we saw another review naming that unfortunate girl CHELSEA who obviously do not care about her job and is not happy and has a damn you outlook towards customers. On a side note, we talked and complained to the manager Rosanna who said she’ll «talk» to her employee and that«maybe she’s having a bad day». We don’t care! Customer service is first and foremost! I guess re training would be advisable since CHELSEA didn’t even improve in connection to her review last December.

Sweet and sour pork is more like sweet and sour flour, while the wanton noodle? Wanton taste like soy with flavor and the halo halo taste like water, garlic chicken taste like chicken only, no garlic this is like fooling the paying public, will never go back, bad taste

The only reason I come here is to get my halo halo fix. Even at that, their halo halo isn’t always consistent in the amount of ingredients they put in. Sometimes they’re stingy with the ube ice cream & flan on top, sometimes generous. One portion can have more beans that anything else while another portion will have more nata de coco. Service is always slow at this place, even when visiting outside of lunch & dinner hours. Haven’t tried anything else besides the halo halo, but I really don’t want to.

Customer service was nice enough but not the kid at the register nor the manager himself could tell me what was in the dish I was ordering. All they said was«it’s good.» Unfortunately they ran out of udon and replaced it with chow mein. They informed me they would do this with the Lomi bowl but not with the Meaty Wonton plate. Then they ran out of enough for a second Lomi bowl so they replaced it with Beefy Wonton bowl which they informed me about but I was still disappointed. They forgot about our soda altogether. The food was bland and sloppy. The only tasty items were the Thai iced tea and milk tea. I noticed that the floor was super slippery– it was wet in the kitchen and the workers tracked the water out onto the dining area. Not safe. It was a sad experience overall.

I used to like this place but they seem to hire people who really hates working here. The gal who took my order today almost dropped the buzzer as she can’t even hand it to me properly, no sorry nor any acknowledgement of her rude behavior. *smh* Fast food chains are not a dead end job, what makes it look like a dead end job is due to the employees lack of initiative to perform their best and do something to make their job as something they could be proud of and as a good stepping stone in their future career. One very simple tip to attract customers because obviously, you aren’t getting any of the obvious hints from the Jolly bee next to you — SMILE and treat your customers right.

Looks so good in pictures, not so much in the flesh. I tried their breakfast with the longanisa and the milkfish, rice and egg. The egg was super dry, spongy like an egg from an egg mcmuffin, but smaller. The rice was clearly leftover fried up. The sausage was OK …(JUST ok) but it was the milkfish that was far too fishy, crispy, and I was seriously worried I’d get sick after eating it(Yes, I ate it anyway). The best part of my meal was the side of Shu Mai I got. You can’t really mess that up. Would I come back? Maaaybe, but definitely not for breakfast. Next time I want some fast food Filipino breakfast, I’m going next door to Jollibee.

So the gf & I, were in Eagle Rock. It’s cold. So she was craving the Wonton Soup they have. Yours truly is not a fan of these places, but it is cold & a hot soup would suffice just fine. The place is just like a McDonald’s, if they were Filipino-Chinese, & sold Filipino-Chinese like dishes to the masses. It’s fast food in every sense of the word. The soups are mediocre at best. The wonton was tasty though. The beef was kind of tough, rubbery like. The siopao was very tasty & tender no sauce necessary. Their Taho(Tofu Boba drink is good but on a sweet side) Most of the empty tables were dirty. Underneath these empty tables were dirty. The place was fairly busy, I would think they would have someone clean it so people can actually sit, eat & enjoy their mediocre food. Again, I’m not a fan, pretty sure I’ll never will be. I only eat here because my gf does. I wouldn’t otherwise. Two stars is fairly generous.

I got some dinner to go today and when I got home it was completely the wrong order. They need to focus on what they are doing instead of talking to each other like they are just hanging out. It’s a work environment to provide customer service not some place to just talk all day to each other. The person who took my order was Diane Alissa.

Food was just average. The pancit bihon portion size was a little on the small side. Beef noodle wonton soup was just okay as well. Nothing stood out as exceptional. If you need something quick at a decent price then stop by.

Had the bangs, egg, and tocino the other day and it was delicious! I also shared the Bihon with my mom, but my eyes were super greedy when I took a fried chicken and siopao to go! I enjoyed the Halo Halo for dessert and it brings back good memories of when my father made me homemade food. It isn’t the same as homemade Filipino food, but it was close enough! Chow King is the fast food version of Filipino food.

Ehhh, just okay! Portions are small for the price paid. The jollibee across was renovating so I ended up here, otherwise I’d be in jollibee. Orders don’t take as long as other Chowking. I got my order within 10 min. I would recommend Leelin though than this place if you’re hungry and want to make your money’s worth.

I came here last night craving some Halo halo and Chow king was the only place open that serves halo halo. I got the halo halo and the lumpia. If I was you I would avoid the lumpia. It had the right crispiness but the flavor was not that tasty. The halo halo on the other hand was okay. There wasn’t a lot of flan of my cup which was a disappointment. I felt that they put more ice then jellies and beans in the halo halo.

The food is still okay. They still have B rating. The staff can be unfriendly. I hope they get better but this is the second time I rated them with a 1 star. Downvote.

This place is a circus. We can’t find a place to just eat our food right. People wandering to and from the cashier NOT just ordering food BUT asking for toilet paper, asking for spoon, asking for tissue, for salt, for pepper, for lemon, for whatnot!(just can’t win, always something is missed!) All these shambles are taking place while a man is changing the light bulb on top of where the food is served! I’d say particles of dust or ceiling dirt stuff would have fallen on the food! Also, Rossana P.(The cashier) has ZERO tolerance for changes in adding or not adding soda to the meal. She just can’t process it. How complicated can it get??? Lol! No thanks but I’m not coming back.

It’s an OK place to snack… But wouldn’t go for a full meal. The beef wonton(noodle soup) is pretty good but not too filling like its advertised. Their dim sum selection is alrite but it’s obviously not really dimsum because it’s filipino food. The egg rolls are lumpia Shanghai and the shiumai tastes like frozen shiumai you can buy at the groceries next door. I haven’t tried their breakfast or fried chicken, but I’ll probably go to jollibee across from it for that.

This location is located at the Eagle Rock mall. They have a lot of competition with Goldilocks just next door and Jollibee right across from it. If you are really hungry and don’t want either Goldilocks or Jollibee, then you will most likely eat here. The food here is decent. I’ve had the Garlic Chicken Lauriat, which comes with chicken, noodles, rice, sesame balls, and shu mai. It was OK. Their wonton noodle soup is good but it sometimes lacks flavor. I would rather come here for their halo-halo. Now that is something to rave about. It is super delicious. They also serve Breakfast. Service is OK. They can do better though. Overall, this place is just OK and I will most likely come here over and over again since it is located right next to Seafood City.
