8 bucks plus tip. I walked in showed a picture, chatted while my hair was cut, thanked her and gave a tip. Quick, clean, and friendly. Much better than the spot closer to Sunset and Echo Park.

I was wary of such a cheap haircut, but because of the above review I thought I’d give it a shot. And, I have to say… after the initial haircut shock wore off I was pretty pleased. I’m a guy, but I have longer hair than what they are used to (Maria, who cut my hair, was surprised that I didn’t want to chop it all off), so I was extra nervous. But, I brought a picture, and, for under $ 10, it was fantastic. If I want something more transformative done, I’ll shell out more elsewhere, but for a simple trim I will definitely go back.

I love this place… the max a hair cut will cost you here is $ 10 dollars and that’s including tip. Spending $ 25 bux on a haircut to me now sounds ridiculous… thanks to Casanova’s I now get a pretty decent cut for under $ 10 bux. Just make sure to tell whoever is cutting your hair what you want and they usually get it right. NOTE: there are actually 3 Casanovas in Echo Park… the one I usually go to is the one located on Sunset and Laveta Terrace.(next to the botanica)
