+ Fast food + Good, quick service — A distinct smell that lingers once you step in, always This place is like your usual Carls Jr. You come in, order, and they serve you your food. They’re pretty quick, even if it’s lunch time. the wait isn’t too bad. The only big issue about this place for me, is the smell that lingers around. Not once has it ever smelled differently, always the same. It’s weird. If you’re really in need of a quick lunch or bite, this place is fine. I just personally wouldn’t eat in, would rather take to-go.

They sell Monster energy drinks here for $ 2.29. This is a pretty standard Carls Jr. but without the drive through. It’s in the city so it seems a little grimy but if you need a quick drink, it’s a decent and fast spot. There is a bike rack right outside and there is rarely a wait. It is also attached to a Sbarro Pizza and an El Pollo Loco so you have a few options if you need a quick bite.

— Limited seating(shared with other vendors) — Perpetual bad odor There’s usually not much bad you can say about Carl’s Jr. It’s fast food and it is usually pretty good when you are hungry. Unfortunately this particular location really turns me off. It shares building space with Sbarro and El Pollo Loco. This isn’t really a big deal, but the layout is a bit strange. Carl’s customers are left with a dark corner of the restaurant to sit(lights are usually off here) and you can find homeless folks sometimes taking refuge here. The area in front of the cash registers seems to have a perpetual bad odor. It has been there since I started working in the area over 2 years ago. Sometimes the odor changes, but it is still bad. That being said, the service is always fast and the workers are friendly. If I do decide to come here on my lunch break, I make sure to take my order to go.

I paid 8 dollars for just a ½ lb Original 6 Dollar Burger and a large drink. The burger arrived with too much mustard! It was even on the box and on the napkins! It did not even have a «fresh baked bun»! It was on regular bread! And it had regular, not sweet dilled pickles! WHATTHE FUhK!!! And it was not the ½lb patty! The cook put a famous star patty on it! I felt extremely ripped off! Carl’s Jr.’ used to be my favorite chain of restaurants, but their service and quality has been deteriorating.

The first Carl’s Jr. I have ever been to in the United States that does not have free refills on their sodas. While i can understand why(the location has a lot of vagabonds) I think this is bad policy for reputation purposes.

This is my weekend fastfood restaurant. I have not visited this place during weekdays, so I can only review the place based on my weekend visits. –Fast service –Friendly employees –This specific location does not serve biscuit, only sourdough breakfast sandwich Taking into consideration that the location is downtown Los Angeles, expect some cosmetic flaws and a different feeling compared to other non-downtown LA locations.
