I came here after I watched a movie and picked up one of the sandwich and some chips. I got the roasted turkey breast sand which. I thought it was good and the chips wasn’t so bad. Service was nice and fast. I would eat here again if I’m in the area watching a movie or shopping. But as I know myself I’m picky and want something new.

Had the spicy chicken wrap. Flavorless. Like premade airport food except you don’t have to take it out of the plastic… they do that for you… seriously the chicken came out of a plastic bag. Not good

I order a chopped chicken salad after the lunch rush. Guy asks if I want chicken. Yes, and 8.95 later I wonder if I ate any chicken. Was worth 5 tops. I’ve had better experiences in Centry City mall food court.

I came here for lunch the other day and had their flatbread sandwich for ~$ 8. It comes with one side you get to choose. The food was ok… I just felt just rushed the entire time I was there. I think there are better places to go in the food court. This place was just average for me.

I usually eat at Take a Bao or Asaji Ramen, but I decided to try something different and ordered the Chinese Chicken Salad at the Crisp. The moment it was plated, I had regret. The salad is a listless plate of greens with some chicken and water chestnuts. As basic and uninspired as it gets, the opposite of the salads at Bao, which are filled with fresh and varied ingredients and flavors. With much better options within the food court, I strongly urge against the Crisp based on my Chinese Chicken Salad.

I mean… california crisp has been around FOR-EV-ER. They clearly have a business model that works–«fresh» healthy salads/wraps/etc in mall food courts. Except that nothing there really seems fresh. Could this place be better? YES! But i think for the price and convenience, what you see is what you get. I got the roasted veggie salad for dinner last night. It wasn’t bad, but I was definitely still hungry afterwards. They’ve really stepped it down a notch with their lavash bread. This used to be served warm and was a nice touch to the salad. Now its placed on your plate wrapped up in plastic wrap– cold and crusty. I was pretty disappointed in the veggie salad. It had all the right ingredients, but just left me feeling very unfulfilled. It was small, dressing was sparse, and the lettuce was watery. The only thing I really enjoyed were the roasted veggie toppings. I should’ve just asked for a cup of the veggies! I think when presented with the other options in the CC food court, California Crisp is one of the more healthful choices you can make, but then again there are a million other healthy places outside the food court that taste much, much better.

Updating to dock them a star because their to-go packaging is really terrible. Non-recyclable styrofoam clamshell boxes, non-compostable plasticware, and non-recycled bleached napkins.

I’ve been here twice for a quick bite. The first time, they got my order wrong but it worked in my favor. I ordered the half egg salad sandwich, half side combo on rye bread. They ended up giving me a whole sandwich with a side order on white bread but only charged for the half sandwich. I was annoyed that they didn’t give me rye bread but c’est la vie! The second time, I ordered the half sandwich combo with chips. They stuffed my sandwich into this tiny container and gave me 3 chips. 3 chips! That’s just wrong. If I didn’t get it to-go, I assume I would’ve gotten more chips. But they shouldn’t hate on the people who gotta take it to go! Overall, food is ok. Typical food court sandwiches. I’ve seen the salads and it looks huge… probably a better deal than the sandwiches.

Century City Mall hands down has the best food court ever! I’ve been to this mall a number of times but have never stepped foot in the food court until recently with the Mister; which he and his coworkers often visit for lunch during work. There were so many options to choose from, but I decided to go with California Crisp since I was in a lettuce kind of mood that day. I ordered the Sample Platter(caesar salad, chicken salad, chicken noodle soup, cornbread) $ 7.99 — such a good deal! The portions were quite generous and it totally hit the spot all around. The chicken salad had huge chunks of chicken and was quite tasty, the salad wasn’t drenched with dressing, the chicken soup was pretty decent, not too hot or cold, and the cornbread was diggity dog good, will be back for sure if shopping at Century City Mall.

A gf and I came to the Westfield Century City food court to get a bite before seeing a movie at the AMC. We wanted to be mostly healthy, but somewhat sinful — so we shared a Fuddrucker’s burger and a California Crisp salad. It turned out to be one of the all-time greatest chick meals! Ok, to be really honest the salad we got wasn’t THE healthiest, but it wasn’t what I’d call SINFUL either — we got the Spinach, Mushroom, Bacon and Egg salad with balsamic vinaigrette and a hunk of cornbread. Good compromise, eh? There was enough bacon and egg on the salad to make it super yum, but the balsamic dressing and spinach made it legitimately healthy for us — and it was all delish together! The cornbread was dense and moist, like I like it, with corn kernels in it, not on the overly sweet side, and just the right amount to share without feeling any residual carb guilt. I love that they toss your salad(this is food talk, not kinky talk you bad boy!) right in front of you, so you get all the control over how much dressing you want and you know it hasn’t been sitting around waiting for you. It’s a super price for top-quality ingredients, and with all their choices you have to work really hard at being unable to find something that appeals to your tummy. Combine that with 3 hours’ free parking, the lovely outdoor seating area, and the closeness of the movie theater and you’ve got yourself a salad winner!

Came here for lunch a little while back and got the California Turkey Roll, which is about $ 8. The roll was ok, but the turkey was pretty dry and everything was far too segmented. There’s a lot of pretty good options in this mall, including Coral Tree, which I’d probably prefer to this place.

The BBQ chicken salad wrap is good, and it was way bigger than I was expecting. Nice, light snack while I was shopping.

The salad here was very fresh– especially compared to the Beverly Center location. I like to go up here on my lunch break, I work downstairs. Its fresh and quick. However, $ 10 for lunch but I guess this is expected when you eat in this food court ! The people aren’t very friendly or anything special, but they get the job done. Pretty good place– i guess I would call myself a fan.

This may be shocking and you may detest the fact that I am writing a review for their Chinese chicken salad. You’re probably thinking, first of all, Chinese people don’t eat salad, or any uncooked vegetables, for that matter. I can’t seem to think of any at this point in time… Maybe cucumbers when you mix it in with dry noodles. That’s it, though. Next, I know you’re saying, just because you put some chestnuts and fried rice noodles in the salad, throw in some sesame dressing, doesn’t make it «asian». I don’t care. I LOVETHISSALAD!!! Green onions, lettuce, chicken, delicious dressing, fried rice noodles, chestnuts, and DELICIOUSREFRESHINGNOMNOMMMM. The best part of this salad is that ITDOESNTHAVEMANDARINORANGES!!! I HATE Chinese chicken salads with mandarin oranges. Just because it has the word mandarin in it, doesn’t make it so!!! Ok I guess I’m contradicting myself. Sort of. You also get a side of corn bread. And it’s a heaping mound of salad. Come hungry, leave happy.

california crisp is located in one of the fanciest food courts i’ve ever seen, but it didn’t impress me, even for«food court» food. the only benefit was it served it’s purpose… a quick bite before catching a movie next door. they pride themselves on being healthy. well, they better be healthy because my sammie was dry as can be. granted, i asked for no tomato on my turkey breast sammie($ 6.89 or add $ 1 for hand carved turkey), but it couldn’t have made that much of a difference. my first choice was chicken salad, then tuna salad. both were nixed because i was told they had onions.(who puts onions in a chicken salad sammie???) you get a choice of chips, pasta salad, and some other stuff i can’t remember at the moment. i went with the chips. you get a whole 6 – 7 pieces. really!!! they seemed baked because they were less oily, but they also had little to no flavor.(i’m all for healthy food, but it still needs to taste good. i better have saved some calories on this meal!) i also didn’t like the counter set up. there’s no menu above head, so you have to search for a paper menu by the register, then get in line. all the food is laid out on the counter, but it goes so far back, you have to shout to the person behind it so they can hear you. next time, i’m gonna try to not oversleep so i can have more time to pick a decent meal before catching a flick.
