I have been going back and forth between my Dr. And the pharmaceutical for the last 3days, the pharmaceutical state’s that they haven’t received the fax and the doctor said that he faxed it. The pharmaceutical said he will call the doctor but never did and today is the 4th day and I still don’t have my med’s, later I found out that the pharmaceutical can let me borrow a few pills until the Rx is authorized, and that was never offer to me, now I have to go back to the Dr. Office and get a paper Rx and take it to the pharmacy to be filled crazy right

The best place to go if you are a USC student craving snacks or drinks. They sell beer and wine and all your typical quicky mart snacks and candy, energy drinks, etc. The owners are always very nice. Open until midnight. Yum.

I love this place. When I went to USC, I would come here often to get little things before and after classes. These guys are AWESOME. The prices are awesome! They knew me by name and knew exactly what I would get every time I came. They had everything ready for me at the counter whenever I would walk in — which was incredibly helpful when I was in a rush between classes. They’re open late(and despite what people are saying — it’s fine to go at night, just don’t be an idiot). CVS would close, but Cal Mart would be open. I would always go see them, rather than walk the extra distance to CVS because the people who work here are AMAZING. The staff is friendly and genuinely care about how the students are doing. They would cheer me on during finals week and welcome me back after a seasonal university break. They rock and I’ve missed them since I graduated.

Cool and low key corner store, bout what you’d expect from a mom and pop shop in DTLA

Convenience store located in a convenient area, hey can’t get any better than that. The clerk was very nice and the prices were reasonable, they had what we needed.

A swisher, 40 oz OE, 5-hour-energy, and I’m good to go. Whether you need the essentials or just a quick pick-me-up Arizona on a hot day, Cal Mart Beer & Wine has got your back. But Cal Mart isn’t just your usual mini-store; it’s a global refuel and restock hub in the USC community with top notch management. When the usual topic of somebody’s recent Cal Mart experience comes up, you won’t be surprised to hear words like«breathtaking», or «pure ecstasy». Without Cal Mart, students would waste precious time and gas money traveling all the way to overpriced 7 – 11 and Ralph’s. I would even go as far as to say it saves lives. Eric A-Insider-Tips for Cal-Mart: *Bring those stacks! Under $ 5 on the plastic and you better expect a big old $ 0.50 convenience fee *It might be a convenient store, but they don’t have super late hours. Get your drink on early or you will be taking the Figueroa express down to 7 – 11 my friend.

Great place near campus if you need some beer or snacks or whatever. Closes kinda early though.

I have to give the Korean owners here a shout-out for their courage to confront the everyday possibility of pain, danger, uncertainty, and intimidation. Cal Mart liquor store is situated in the middle of urban hell. Yeah sure USC is on the block but Cal Mart is surrounded by Rollin’ 30’s, 18th St, Mara Salvatrucha, and Harpys gang — all notorious for shakedowns, extortion, robberies, vandalism and murder. Despite the negative history in the neighborhood this store has managed to survive and flourish. Situated in a strip mall the store is very clean and organized. Products are placed so that the store doesn’t appear visually chaotic but welcoming. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. This is a great convenience store if you are in the neighborhood but I would not recommend visiting in the late hours.

Another USC area classic. This place puts the ‘hood in «neighborhood convenience store». Cal Mart gets an extra star for the really helpful Korean dudes that work there and somehow manage to keep a positive attitude despite obviously having to deal with so much shit, as well as for its extensive selection of protein bars, alcohol-packed energy drinks and«King» and«High Times» magazines. Cal Mart can go no higher than 2 stars, however, for the fact that it’s located in perhaps the single sketchiest strip mall near USC. A walk there at night often involves passing through a gauntlet of thugs, beggars, dealers and even hookers. That parking lot is unbelievably terrifying. Sometimes it’s worth it– that is, if it’s 10:30pm and you desperately need a 4Loko. For any other reason, you’re probably better off staying home and keeping safe. Ahh, Cal Mart… zip code nine-triple-oh-seven at its very finest.
