This convenience store has been a life saver for me! Located just a few blocks from the USC campus, you can think of this store as a mini Walmart. I moved right next to this store a few months ago and immediately struck up a personal relationship with Mr. Martinez as I was in there every 15 minutes buying something I needed to help facilitate my moving in process.
He has basic groceries like milk, bread (and Ramen) as well as just about everything you might need as a student. Since I have been here I have bought extension cords, a bike lock, light bulbs, bike light, storage containers, surge protector, laundry detergent, cleaning supplies, hammer and screwdriver… even a loofa! He really has it all in there. Also, expect to pay about ½ the price here as you would at a hardware store for the same items.
He also helped me jump my car out of the goodness of his heart one night when it wouldn’t start and there was street cleaning the next day. This place is really a hidden gem walkable from campus!
