I can’t believe they stopped making my favorite hamburger! The Philly Cheesesteak Burger. I loved it, but since they didn’t have it I tried another burger. It was horrible, nothing like they look on TV. No crisp green lettuce, it looked more like diced cabbage. The speaker on the drive up window has been out of order for a week. You would think they would have fixed it by now.

Stopped here to get a whopper junior and fries and the guy who served me was really nice. The only thing I had an issue with is he had a fresh burned hand with no protection to handle food. Furthermore, he was handling the money transactions. Not wise to handle food with skin exposed.

Lack of good customer service at this place. Yes it is very close to the county hospital which makes it convenient.

The location is close to the LAC/USC county hospital. The staff seem friendly enough. However this Burger King looks really old and worn out, desperately need a remodeling or deep cleaning. Also the service here can be really slow sometimes.

I had for long given up on BK… I wouldn’t normally think of writing a review about burger king but it had to happened after what i experienced. My mother went to burger king to buy the 2 for 1 fries and chicken sandwiches. She asked me if i wanted a sandwich and an order of fries. I said no. Then i tried some fries. OMG they were super crispy and warm. I told her hand over the box of fries. Then i tried the chicken sandwich, best Chicken Sandwich ever. The meat was well well done. I love well well well done. Overall all the ingredients were really fresh and most important the chicken tasted like actual chicken better than Mcdonalds thats for sure. I might even say it tasted organic. God what kind of drugs am i on? I might be coming to this place a little more often, but not too often. Gotta keep it healthy but at least this place will be an option again when hungry. Burger King don’t disappoint me(again).

I started coming here because of their 10 piece nuggets for $ 1.49 deal. They’re more juicy and more flavorful than McDonald’s Chicken McNuggets. Their barbeque sauce also tastes better than McDonald’s barbeque sauce, but McDonald’s probably beats them in every other category. The drive-thru can take a while, even if there’s no one else in line. But on the bright side, it means your food is somewhat«fresh»… for fast-food standards anyway. The employees are friendly and very generous when it comes to giving condiments. I remember Burger King fries tasting better, but now they’re thick and lack a crispy factor. I’ll probably stop coming if their 10 piece nuggets deal is no longer offered. Nothing else on their menu really appeals to me, especially when there are plenty of other options nearby.

I’ve gotten to point that I only go here when I’m DESPERATE… 1.) As usual, there were not enough employees to keep up with customer demand. (Not the staff’s fault, probably management penny-pinching) 2.)While we were waiting for our order we couldn’t help but notice that there was a female employee eating a burger and fries at the prep-table!(Gross) 3.) The lobby was atrocious! the floors were sticky and most of the tables were full of trash! it took 4 minutes to clear a table for us and by then our food was luke-warm 4) The Prep-area’s floor was so cluttered with trash/food that the employees’ were kicking fries, wrappers, and hamburger buns around as they scurried about !! Just because this Establishment is in the Barrio’ doesn’t give them a right to keep such a nasty store on a consistent basis !!!

Decent breakfast but they have crappy deals for breakfast. They wanna charge 3.59 for 1 egg muffin sandwich when u get 2 better ones from McDonalds for the same price. They will charge u 2 dollars to put a minuscule scoop of scrambled eggs in a dollar muffin. WtH. Get ur menu together BK or u will lose to the others.

I like to believe this place went under new management. Something has changed that’s for sure. I’ve always been a fan of Carl Jr’s Cranberry Apple Salad, but they discontinued it. So when I found out burger king has it now, it was a mixed feeling or excitement and weariness. I returned back to this place and enjoy coming here. The staff is friendly, clean, and helpful. They always give extra salad dressing, and if I didn’t want ice in my vanilla coffee they would always top it off. Most places do not do that! So I’m glad to say that the horrific previous experience I had before here is water under the bridge. I’m a regular now.

I had a Burger King gift card and had to visit one. All the ones around this area are rated very terribly, so I just picked a random one and hoped for the best. I’m pleasantly surprised with the trip, thankfully! Our food was created correctly and didn’t take that long to make. I used a coupon from a newspaper without any question, as well as using a gift card from my phone. Transaction was quick and easy. The food itself wasn’t «great», it was okay. It’s not terrible, it’s just not what I’m into. It does taste like ‘normal’ BK though so if you do enjoy BK I’d say there’s nothing wrong with this store, as far as I could see. I didn’t mess with the drive-thru this time, but I did twice in the past from two TV promotions and they said their related machine was broken. I don’t know whether they just didn’t want to take part or the machine happened to be broken, but it was frustrating. They weren’t too friendly about it, either. This trip changed my overall opinion though. Staff was nice, made everything right, and everything went better than expected.

Every time I have made the mistake of going to this«fast» food place, I go through the drive in and they tell me to park and wait, and they will bring it to me.(5 – 10 minutes or more) They also frequently get orders wrong, and had no beef available today. I am done with the hassles of this place, and won’t go back again. Worst BK ever!

U can’t beat Free. I love it when we get coupons for free stuff. I had my coffee fix for free this morning. Ever since they changed owners it has become a better place to come to. It more like a school hang out since there are 2 schools near by. I live up the street but hardly ever come to eat here.

I came here back in October of 2010, as a result of my brother being an inpatient at USC Medical a block away. That’s probably where they get the majority of their business from, as the neighborhood here isn’t exactly a place you want to hang around at(no offense to the people that live there). It was early evening, around dinner time, though there weren’t many people around. Never bothered to check reviews of this place. Sure, some items are overpriced, but others are decent. I’d rather eat here than McDonald’s for their meat quality, but aside from that… What really irks me is that they charge 50 cents for drink refills. Seriously? That’s like a cardinal sin for any fast food place(at least in «Supersize Me» America). At least it’s clean inside. I am sooo tempted to give a 1 star. Looks like other people have already shared such sentiment though. All I’ll say is you could do worse… though perhaps not by much. But with McDonald’s(which is on the same street) just a few blocks away offering free wifi and refills… you could certainly do better too.

I havent had BK in a long time, so i decided to give them a try again. I went thru they’re drive thru, and ordered the Griled Chicken Garden Salad. The cahier«Estela», told me that they will have to cook the chicken and that it would take 5min. she asked for me to pull forward and park and she would bring me my food. 15min.(i kept track of time), still no food delivered. i drove again thru the drive thru straight to the cashier, and a young man,(without me telling him what i was there for) gave me my sald, I asked him why the young lady never came to deliver my salad, and he stated that he didnt know,” he was just told to give the salad”, hmmm i wonder who told him? i wonder where Estela was hiding? anyways, my lunch break was already over, so i had to rush back to work. To my surprise, there was no fork in my bag!!! where i was working. everything is closed, i spend half hour looking for a fork,(true story). The only positive thing is that the grilled chicken was very tasty,(eventhough it was cold), better then McDonalds. I doubt that i will be returning to this particular BK, i will stick to Jack in Box or Mc Donalds.

I can’t believe this place. I tried to use my coupon book but this BK only accepts the coupon if you buy more than what the coupon says(it doesn’t matter which coupon you have– you need to buy something extra for you to be able to use the coupon). I know there are disclaimers on the coupons but WTF, if nothing works??? If I wasn’t super early for a doctor’s appt. nearby, I wouldn’t have even looked at this place. Just by principle, this place is not like any other franchises. Even their refills cost $ 0.50. It was strange though. A girl that placed an order but didn’t pay got free food while I had to follow their rules. I know that people won’t check a review about a BK but it just urked me so much that I had to write this.

Like George C mentioned, A lot of their items are overpriced. A lot of their value menu items are priced over a dollar and they rarely take part in promotions like the $ 1 double cheeseburger or 2 for $ 3 Whoppers. Parking is pretty ample, but I can see why.

Went earlier today. My father had a DR appointment and i picked him up afterwards. He wanted the Kirk cup(if any of you have one e-mail me), but they were all out. They were training a newbie, which was cools. Didn’t bug us much as, he was a newbie and needs to learn. always supportive of newbies, even if we mock them. =P. So anyways, JR burger, and a meal, and my father got a glass. easy in easy out, about 15 minutes. was better then most times we come here.
