As of today, my favorite shwarma pita sandwich in LA. Delicious, warm, moist and a generous helping. Okay, so the parking lot is kind of a drag. But I found an easy spot on San Vicente. Strip mall atmosphere for people on the go. But an excellent sandwich!

A definite hole in the wall but really good food. The falafels and hummus are some of the best I’ve had. Lentil soup was good too. Friendly staff. Parking is challenging and atmosphere leaves you wanting but if your hungry for some spot on Mediterranean Grub this is the place

People will wonder how come I give 5 stars! Let me tell you, when the food is good + service is good + price is good, then 5 stars is earned! I tried the Falafel sandwich, it was so good and so tasty. I will always remember from now on who makes good Falafel sandwiches,

Love the gyros chicken but I praise the baklava, which I am willing to pay the price and drive from South LA to this point !!! I don’t mind spending 20 overall with the baklava it’S really amazing, sweet and soft which means perfect, everytime I reach West LA side that’s the place to go eat.

Okay, yum. My expectations were low headed into a small shopping plaza falafel place in a strip plaza but I was absolutely starving so I ventured into Beverly Falafel. My expectations were also that I’d be overpaying for sub-par food. I was pleasantly surprised that the food was delicious and, wait for it, under $ 7! The hummus tasted freshly made and the falafel just melted in your mouth. I just wanted to pick up something small, so I opted for a vegetable pita. It was sooo good. In Hollywood? Unbelievable. The owner was also super sweet. My friend brought along her high energy toddler. He quickly had the high chair out to us, and was gracious when we tried to wrangle him after dinner and the toddler instead decided to run a giant lap around the entire restaurant instead, while my poor friend chased after him. *Sigh* I will definitely be back when I’ve got a bigger appetite. They have a vegetable dinner platter option that is screaming my name.

There was something very relaxing today about enjoying my(delicious) falafel plate as the breeze rolled in through the open door. Vibe is cool. Staff was helpful and super chill. It’s on little strip mall in Beverly Grove. I’ll def be back.

popped in for a snack to get our day started, nothing likes local spot with no fanfare but some good eats… this was not it. I had the vegetarian plate… the lentil soup that comes with the meal was inedible, devoured the falafel and babagannoush out of sheer hunger… The only redeeming quality was everything was served on styrofoam…

For a place that has Falafel as its first name, the Falafel appears to be the worst plate they serve. Its dry and not seasoned very well at all. The plate comes with Rice, soup, salad and Hummus and all are terrible with the exception of the Hummus.

I always order the falafel pita. Perfect amount of food and j don’t get that disgusted feeling like after eating a burger. It’s stuffed to the brim with 4falafels, salad, and hummus. All of 6.50 not too shabby. Most of the poor reviews seem to come from their meat options so maybe just stick to the falafels here

Food was decent but the service was pretty robotic and a bit sterile(i.e. not very friendly). Mainly went here since she never had a falafel before, and I’m all about teaching people about the world… So, bad experience — when my friend asked for a refill of her soda(mind you that I just dropped about $ 40 for us 2 on fast food), she was quickly quoted 75 cents. Seems a bit silly for a restaurant to be that«cheap.» But ok, I get it, nothing is free. With 3 quarters in hand, the chick cashier hits a button and spits back, that will be 82 cents. THAT was really Muthafu#CKn $#@$@ annoying. The parking situation was tedious, as well. Whatever, I won’t be back.

Just finished a delicious pita sandwich with lamb and beef! So so delicious! And served by the friendly, and, beautiful co-owner Ms. Monica. She and her father Mr. Ben have created a most comfortable and welcoming small restaurant in a tiny mall across the st from the Beverly Center shopping mall! And what is especially great apart from the food are the seats! soft seats for ones’ behind! For me a much added comfort amidst other businesses with hard seats! And re: the main food court at the Beverly Center upstairs has been closed quite a while! So, shop there but eat at Beverly Falafal!!!

This unassuming spot hosts some of the dankest Mediterranean food you can possibly get in LA. This isn’t your health-conscious, sanitized American version of Egyptian food. If you’re getting a shwarma, you’re getting a shwarma. This is pretty authentic street food. The portions are huge and delicious. The owner(and sometimes his daughter) is there nearly every day and a complete pleasure to talk to. Generous and kind people.

Worst beef kabob ever. Frozen for days. Stop taking short cuts. It shows. Nothing is fresh here. I dont know what i was thinking

Expensive and not worth it! Beef kabob with hummus, salad and rice for $ 15. The beef kabob was gross and hard to chew. It almost tasted a little burnt. The rice was so dry and had a weird flavor in it. The only thing good was hummus and salad. The lentil soup was eeehh, skip it! Their water container at the counter was dirty as well. The place is small and untidy. Ugh! Definitely not coming back!!!

I really enjoy this hole in the wall kind of spot. Not much to look at but the food is solid and cheap. The owner is very friendly and willing to answer questions. They offer both Pepsi and Coke! I’m a Pepsi girl myself so I was excited. Parking is free. It’s the go to spot for good shawarma. The side salads are perfectly basic. I mean that in the best way imaginable. Try it. They are usually playing some ABC show on the television. It’s kinda like sitting at home. Comfortable.

3.5(so rounding it up to 4). Good quality food, a bit pricy for fast food and not fast at all. I recommend you call it in even if your ordering a pita sandwich like what I usually order. If you don’t order soda and sides, you may be able to keep it under $ 10.

I wish there was a no star option! Owner was very rude! Yelled at us(Olivia) and called me rude!!! Compared me to his children … wouldn’t take my credit card and made me pay cash! The cook was very nice and helpful! Won’t come back! Place is small and looks dirty! $ 3 for a snapple? Not coming back! Food wasn’t awful. Pretty decent.

I LOVE mediterranean cuisine and I though I was at every single major mediterranean place at the area. Boy I was wrong and here is +1 to my roster of mediterranean eateries. It’s hard to spot them from the street, and owner said he doesn’t advertise it much, so most of the customers come through word of mouth. And that’s how it should be, I liked it and now highly recommend to you guys. Another great plus is parking. Yeah, this parking lot is small and crowded, but still this parking is better than most restaurants have in this area. But all of this doesn’t matter as much as food itself. I got combo plate with lamb shawarma and falafel and couldn’t be more pleased with everything on it. Homemade hummus is perfect, salad is fresh and meat is perfectly cooked. And that falafel with dipping sauce for sure deserves to be at restaurant’s name. The only thing — I would rate their lentil soup 4*, but I’m not a soup guy and it didn’t really make any difference to the overall experience. The prices are not cheap, but they are just right — you get what you pay for, fresh ingredients and very decent meal. So the bottom line is, for sure I’ll be back you should go to.

The meateater BF has had this hole-in-the-wall place bookmarked for a while and one Monday evening we decided to check it out. I ordered the Vegetarian Plate which was a bowl of lentil soup, three pieces of falafel, tabouleh, salad, tahini, hummus, and baba gannoush. We also had a plate of pita bread which I’m not sure if it came with the BF’s meat plate combo or with my combo or both. I just remember that we had an abundance of delicious food. Every bite was enjoyable! I remember saying«omg did you taste the ___?» a lot. The lentil soup was flavorful. The falafel was a perfect balance of crispy and tender. The hummus was a creamy heaven. The tabouleh was fresh and parsley-heavy. The baba ganoush had this smokey flavor unlike any other baba gannoush I’ve had. I know other reviewers mentioned they didn’t like the smokey flavor but I was totally into it. It reminded me of how my mom would roast eggplant right on the stove burners. It was as if they did that to the eggplant and used it to make the baba gannoush. My only gripe is that they use styrofoam plates/bowls. Even if you’re dining in.
