First timer and it was delicious! I Ordered the cheeseburger with a side of tallow fries and washed it down with a glass of Rosé. The organic grass fed beef broke down in my mouth like butter! I loved the chill ambience, will definitely be coming back! :)

So good! Came here with the hubby for lunch. He ordered the Belcampo Burger and I had the Fast Burger. Both were delicious and cooked perfectly. Also had the Beef Tallow Fries and Bone Broth. I realized later that you can ask them to flavor your bone broth which I will probably do next time. But all in all everything was tasty. Great customer service. We also picked up a couple beautiful looking ribeye steaks to grill at home. Can’t wait to come back!

Belcampo has the freshest looking meats and all the cuts of them that you can want. Whenever I want to cook something up, I head to Grand Central Market and Belcampo to get everything I need. However, I stopped in for brunch and had their out of this world beef hash — a deconstructed version of hash that I will definitely be returning to get again. Their burger and other dine-in or take-out items are also perfectly prepared and created for your enjoyment!

…No doubt your meats and other ingredients are a-list and they care about humane animal treatment. The patties feel loosely hand-formed so they’re juicy. All ingredients fresh. Execution? Fries seemed to have been sitting around waiting for me to show up — fresh but soggy. And, last I checked, Heinz cornered the market on ketchup long ago. Save some payroll… lose the designer ketchups. Attentive staff. Thank you. Two burgers(w/adds) and French Fries = $ 37

Los Angeles, CA. Born and raised. In a city with over 6 million stories I’ve been around the block, seen some things. If you have not had the experience of a Belcampo Breakfast Burrito, get on it. Seriously. Drop what you are doing right now. On the phone, hang up. Studying for a test, take a make up exam. Giving birth, ask how dilated you are. BEST Breakfast Burrito in America.

Came to Belcampo after seeing its cheese burger on a list of best burgers in LA. After getting there I saw that they also had a Lamb burger so I did what any normal person would do when you can’t decide what to do; get both! Cheese burger — The meat was really good and was better than the lamb burger. While the burger was good, I don’t know if it was one of the best I’ve had. the lamb burger — the meat was so good and just crumbles in your mouth But the red onions was over powering

I have heard great thing about Belcampo Meat Co. It has been on my list to try for quite a while. We drove Downtown just to eat here. To say I was disapointed is a understatement. They were out of almost everything, I was lucky enough to get the last Belcampo Cheesburger. It was OK, but was overcooked and dry. It sure did not live up to the hype. The only thing else on the menu was a Hot dog, which my wife ordered. it was served with nothing on it. The french fries were good, that was the high light of the meal. The beef jerkey was good. The meat counter look great, but it was expensive. They don’t serve Diet Cokes. Service was friendly, but could not make up for the food.

On a recent trip to downtown LA, I stopped by the market for lunch and decided on Belcampo. I was determined to try the much talked about burger, and I discovered that there are at least two types: the Belcampo burger with cheese and a thicker patty, and the more«In N Out» style thin double cheese burger. I chose the latter. The meat quality was excellent. The rest of the burger including condiments and bun were fairly standard and nothing impressive. The burger did not have the charcoal taste that I love, but it still was a delicious experience. If I were returning, I would choose the larger burger so as to experience the meat more starkly. My only problem with Belcampo was the hipster cashier with an attitude. She had no smile, seemed annoyed as I tried to make a decision, and answered every question matter of factly and without any grace. She was either ready to be elsewhere, or I suppose I was just privileged to be in her presence. To be fair, another server there later came by my seat and was very friendly. Among the many options in Grand Central Market, this remains one of the better ones for standard American food.

Came here for breakfast! While the Eggslut’s line was a least an hour, Belcampo’s counter was relatively quiet so my boyfriend & i swooped. AMAZINGDELICIOUSNESS *Breakfast Sammie — The special that day was a duck sandwich and it was so delicious. It came with a 6 minute egg and an amazing sweet/tangy relish. It was a little oily(duck + buttered(?) bread) but I didn’t mind. *Steak & Eggs(Fingerling potatoes, onion soubise & chimichurri) — I didn’t try this because I don’t eat beef but it was perfectly medium rare. The fingerling potatoes were delicious. *Egg on Fries — at first I thought $ 8 was really ridiculous to be paying for eggs on top of fries. However, I loved these fries. Nicely deep-fried, more on the well-done side. couldn’t stop eating them. Also, I don’t know how Belcampo makes their eggs look so picture-perfect. They seriously look almost fake! I’ll be back!

Mmmgood. The Belcampo cheeseburger is m m good. Went two different times to sample the cheeseburger, the lamb burger, hot dog, fries and broccolini. All paired well with the Santa Monica Wit. Limited menu, limited seating. The butcher case features some good looking meats including difficult to find goat. It is a little on the pricey side which is why I was happy I had a BlackBoard Eats discount. Friendly service.

I really enjoyed this burger. If you’re hungry try the double, the single won’t fill you up unless you get something else besides the burger. I got the single burger and it looked like there was no meat, but once you bit into it it was all meat. The ingredients seem simple, but the taste of the patty was very different and it definitely stood out as a burger. Again, they do have fresh meat so I’m sure that has something to do with how the patty taste. I will definitely be coming back here.

I’m a big fan of Belcampo, but it is a little pricey for me. However, once every while… my husband and I will have a TREATYOSELF day, and we let ourselves splurge on some organic cage-free eggs, fancy bacon, and fine steak. We’ll even sit down for brunch and enjoy a burger and fries when we’re there. The staff there are always so helpful, and more importantly, SOKNOWLEDGEABLE. They’ll give us advice on the best way to prepare certain cuts, and what to pair the meats with. My husband is a born-again-carnivore ever since we came out of hiatus from being pescatarians for YEARS, so he can hang out and talk ALLDAY with the staff at Belcampo’s. Great quality. Top-notch service. Convenient location.

I have been on a journey to find my favorite burger in LA. Whenever someone has asked me I always replied«In-N-Out» and I realized that I hadn’t really made an effort to investigate if their were a better burger out there so for the past 6 months and 9 – 12 burgers later I have come to the happy conclusion that The Fast Burger at Belcampo Meat Co. is my favorite burger in LA. Other runner ups were Republique, Pie n’ Burger, Bill’s Burger amongst others. I will preface my declaration that I don’t consider burgers like the Big Mec(Petit Trois) or the Boner Burger(Animal) traditional burgers they are burger ‘dishes’ and not something that can be enjoyed regularly as they are too rich. No, a burger is simple beef, cheese, produce some type off sauce. Belcampo’ meat quality is unparalleled and extremely flavorful. All the ingredients are top notch and I can honestly say that I would eat this over In-N-Out any day of the week.

So I don’t normally write a review if there are more than 100… but I just HAD to recommend the FRIEDCHICKEN. It is slightly sweet and slightly salty. Omg yes. Best fried chicken I’ve ever had. Eat it fresh though! We made the mistake of filling up on the ceviche across the way(which is also amazing), and it wasn’t quite as yummy as leftovers. FRIEDCHICKEN. GO.

yummmm i haven’t had a good burger for a long time, price is reasonable here, all meats are certified organic grass fed beef — you really can tell the difference! we had the fast burger(single) and the breakfast sammy, and eggs on fries — we finished everything! the beer on tap was a great deal too too — $ 5/ea!!! definitely recommend — never question qualities of the food from a butcher shop!

YUM!!! We were in the downtown LA area and decided to visit Grand Central Market. My husband and I shared the Belcampo burger and some beef fat fries. The meat patty is definitely one of the best meat/burger patty we’ve had. I’m not sure what they did or put in it but it is very flavorful and tasty. Our friend who is a huge meat eater thought this is some of the best meat as well. However, I do think that the condiments can be improved and nothing special really. The fries are great and definitely more fatty with the beef fat.

High quality meat at a very affordable price. Had their Drive Thru style double cheeseburger and I’m gonna say I was a fan. Better than In n Out? Maybe not but it was different and unique. The meat had almost a spiced flavor. Not chili and spiciness but nutty and woody. I highly suggest this place if you are in the area. Their beef tallow fries were kinda miss today. Very soggy. The last time I had them they had more crunch to them.

I came with Grand Central Market with my sister-in-law and brother after being told how cool and hip it is. It has gone through some transformations and now really caters to the hip DTLAers who want to eat quality food. With so many choices(and Eggslut’s line being 100 people long), we came to Belcampo Meat Co and found ourselves happy with our decision. FOOD: Among the savory foods, both me and my brother enjoyed our choices. The meat you can tell is locally sourced, which translates to a better tasting and fresher meat. The sandwich as a whole came together very well and my brother’s chicken and waffles were also mighty delicious. Although, I would have to say the waffles could have been more substantial, but I did enjoy the jam in lieu of a too sugar-y syrup. Then there was … the DONUT. Fresh, made-to-order, lemon + strawberry, it is to die for. For a place that specializes in the meat industry, they can serve up a mean donut for brunch. The right amount of crisp on the outside, and then light and airy on the inside, filled the sweet strawberry and lemon. All presented beautifully on a plate, it does feel like restaurant quality, and it has to do so to keep up with all of the competition in GCM. SERVICE: Attentive, quick, and great! Overall, I will have to try the Belcampo restaurant up here in San Francisco having been to the one in LA at GCM. Great meat and great food, what’s not to love?

The Belcampo Cheeseburger was super delicious. It’s almost half a pound of dry aged grass fed beef with cheddar, and caramelized onions. I ordered it medium and it was tender and oh so flavorful. The shoestring fries were a perfect compliment. There’s a good selection of alcohol here too. Local draft beers, a mimosa, wines, or even a bloody mary. If you need a place to sit, counter service was super friendly. Located in the Grand Central Market, parking can be complicated, and the crowd may be overwhelming on weekends, but this is definitely a great spot for an amazing burger!
